  1. Its a non-story.

Lewis was asked if he would ever come back to fight a Klitschko and he said he would only comeback if he was paid $100m.

    From his twitter:

A hypothetical answer to a hypothetical question does NOT equal reality. #NoComeback
  2. Brilliant finale, Cranston's acting is always sublime but that scene with Skylar in the kitchen was on another level. Most fulfilling final episode of a show I've seen, which considering the pressure this one had on it, is no mean feat.

Vince Gillian said on Talking Bad that the scene where Walt leaves the watch Jesse got him, was added last minute for continuity purposes. They had shot the scenes of Walt going to get the ricin very early on in the season (around S05E01 iirc) and didn't realise until editing that he wasn't wearing the watch in the scene, so they had to add Walt taking off the watch into the script.

  3. I can't even begin to imagine whats going to happen on the next episode, such is these past few. I think the next one will act as sort of a bumper/come down episode before the massive finale, I mean it's got to, right?

What makes the anticipation worse is Vince Gilligan's teases for the next weeks episode on Talking Bad, they get even shorter and cryptic every week. A few weeks ago it was "Walter and Skylar go out to lunch, those other two chairs won't be empty" and now all he gave for next weeks episode was "Walt might get some new glasses".

  4. That would be Georgie Graham, one of the better things to come out of Newcastle. :p

Everyone needs to track down Gracie vs. Mehmen from WSOF, something happens which I've never seen in MMA before - unintentionally mimicking a pro wrestling great.

  5. Attila Vegh (LHW champ) has said he's 100% healthy yet Bellator have forced him to sit out so they can do King Mo vs. Newton on the PPV.

I wonder what new bullshit rule they'll put out there to explain this one.

  6. He's still filming Hercules for another month or so yet and then he's got the next Fast & Furious then a couple other films starting after. So I can't see him being smaller at all.

Plus if he's as busy as it looks like he is for the next year, I can't see him having a substantial part to play in WM30.

  7. Last night was the first time Maddox really seemed at home as a GM to me, which I'm glad about as I'm a fan of the guy. He definitely works better as a complete twat rather than the 'give the crowd what they want' GM he was a few weeks ago.

People have said it before, but he really did remind me of Bischoff.

  8. I don't know why there's suddenly all this talk among the MMA community about Askren going to the UFC, there's ZERO chance of that ever happening IMO.

Dana hates him, and has regularly took the piss out of how boring he is - even saying "When ambien can't sleep it takes Ben Askren. The most boring fighter in MMA history. I would rather watch flies fuck". Not to mention Askren constantly slagging off UFC and accusing them of aiding steroid users, which isn't something Dana will soon forgive.

  9. I don't think they're supposed to get any particular 'point'.

They both represent completely polar opposite views on pro-wrestling, in a way it's a take on old-school vs. new school; with a 'rasslin guy who believes in travelling and sleeping in small cars, wrestling in gyms and prioritising skills over look vs. a guy who believes in the machine, where you work your way through the WWE and ultimately attain success.

I like that they both presented their take as a virtue. Just two, honest guys fighting from different perspectives for one title. If anything, the title represents a victory for their beliefs in this feud.

    It's ace.

In a strange way it kind of reminds me exactly of Rocky. Plucky good intentioned underdog, who spent years 'fighting' for peanuts in front of 30 people with his only goal being to win the title vs the physically gifted machine of a man, long been the biggest star of the sport who is set for life but at the heart of it is a good guy.

Either way, I'm really into this feud. With this and the Lesnar/Punk/Heyman stuff, Summerslam should be excellent.

  10. Poll on WWE.com asking which trio would win in a clash out of The Shield & The Wyatts. Half a million votes cast and its:

    44% - The Shield

    56% - The Wyatts

Seems as well as management, The Shields stock has fallen a bit with the casual fans. That or The Wyatts are far more over with the average fan than I thought (I love them, well Bray & Harper, but thought crowd reaction has been awful for them).
