QUOTE(CaptainCharisma @ Aug 4 2007, 14:39) Good Luck Chuck - "Chuck (Dane Cook) refused to kiss a goth girl when he was ten, and she placed a curse on him: every single woman he sleeps with breaks up with him and marries the next man she meets. Chuck soon realizes this pattern and becomes hopeful that single women will seek him out as a date, so they too will soon find Mr. Right. He then meets Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), a lovable but clumsy penguin trainer. However he finds himself in a pickle as she constantly tries to convince him to have sex, but he doesn't want her to marry someone else." Dane Cook, I'll see this. |

Who the hell is going to fill Bruce Lee's boots? Hollywood Can Not Do Martial Arts movies They're doing it as a noir though. Something different I suppose. "I'm surprised it took this long before someone got the bright idea to remake ENTER THE DRAGON but nonetheless we've finally got an announcement today. At least they've decided to put an interesting spin on the original Bruce Lee classic. Warner Independent has hired Kurt Sutter ("The Shield") to write and direct AWAKEN THE DRAGON, a noir-style remake of ENTER THE DRAGON. Noir-style? Yup. Sutter says that he's writing his DRAGON around an FBI agent who follows a rogue Shaolin monk into a world of underground martial arts fights. He explains the film will be more RAGING BULL than CROUCHING TIGER. An American actor will be cast as the FBI agent while Sutter looks to discover a kung fu talent a la Bruce Lee. I'm not sure I see how this is much of a remake of ENTER THE DRAGON, but it's certainly more intriguing than just a straight up remake. Creativity has got to count for something..." http://joblo.com/bruce-lee-as-noir This post has been edited by CaptainCharisma: Aug 12 2007, 10:30 |
