Paid Members JNLister Posted October 4, 2006 Paid Members Share Posted October 4, 2006 Demolition question brahs. How did Crush join the group in 1990? Did the Demo's just turn up with three people one day?I don't think there was a specific stroyline reason given for him joining the team, they just recruited him and were allowed to use any two members in title defences. The real reason for Crush joining was because Bill Eadie had some fairly severe health problems and was limited in what he could do in the ring.Yep, he just turned up. Jack Tunney then ruled that on the championship roster it said "Demolition" rather than "Ax and Smash".Jack Tunney was sometimes made to look a bit of a dick. craggy
ah, the days when tag teams were tag teams and not 2 random singles wrestlers paired up because they had no other angles.
Gwailofilms
ah, the days when tag teams were tag teams and not 2 random singles wrestlers paired up because they had no other angles.Or lower-card gimmick teams who are made to look like a joke by two middle-aged frat boys week in, week out in a counterproductive, pointless manner. bwo
Did TNA give any reason as to why the title was not on the line when Joe faced Jarrett at No Surrender??Yes. The reason they gave was as the match was already signed for Bound for Glory, they didn't want Sting to lose his oppertunity at the NWA title. Paid Members Miamivenis Posted October 6, 2006 Paid Members Share Posted October 6, 2006 Has there been a thread yet where posters share their Smackdown CAW's? With a pic and maybe a little summary of who he/she is and what the inspiration for the character was? This might sound a little dumb but I think it could be pretty fun. (if it hasn't been done a thousand times of course)

I asuumed it was some Mexican guy but didnt know who. I know Pantera lost to Taka Michinoku at No Way Out 1998, but did he wrestle any further TV matches afterwards? GPW Kristian Zane
Did TNA give any reason as to why the title was not on the line when Joe faced Jarrett at No Surrender??From what i understood of the situation, the reason why Joe didnt get the shot is because Jarrett and Sting had already agreed to a title vs career match at Bound For Glory so with that match agreed upon Jarrett wouldnt have to defend the title until then. Otherwise why would Sting put his career on the line?

Guest rmdstyles
How many female wrestlers are there currently in WWE dvelopmental leagues? I ask as I think the Raw touranament to crown a new women's champion would benefit from a few new fresh faces. I know Kat Walters (now called Katie Lea I think) is there and there's one who used to work for SHIMMER (whose name I can't remember off the top of my head) but who else is there??
