I'm not going with the tux. Wearing a normal suit with either a bow-tie or long tie (I'm taking both, just in case) will definitely look smart. But wearing a tuxedo to find everyone else in normal suits would make you look over-dressed.

Ive emailed WWE WrestleMania travel packages asking for a more specific dress code, hopefully they'll come back to me and clear up the matter.I really want to wear a tux but dont want to be the only person wearing one!

This just on PW Insider - a guide to the WM Weekendhttp://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=635&p=1

There's a shitload of pop-ups on that site, so good ol' dopper has picked out all the best bits it mentioned to save you all the hassle:

If you are traveling by subway, buy the one week Metrocard for $17 and it allows you as many subway and/or bus rides as you need for the entire week. When the rides are $2 each, you can see how easy it is to add up rides. Manhattan is easily accessible by train and there are tons of sites and areas to visit and go shopping. If you are in the Times Square area, you might want to hit some of the shops, including the world's largest Toys R Us which includes a Ferris wheel among other attractions. The wonderful thing about NYC is that it seemingly never closes, with bars and clubs going until much later than most other major cities. There are a number of historical sites including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and many other attractions. If you want to take a free boat ride, head downtown and ride the ferry to Staten Island. You'll go right past the Statue of Liberty and it won't cost you a penny. Of course, there will be a number of WWE sponsored autograph signings that week with talent, and Madison Square Garden provides a "behind the scenes" one hour tour ($17) for those who want to take a look at the Mecca of sports-entertainment before the PPV. If you want to check out other major NYC sites, NBC (including the set of Saturday Night Live) and Radio City Music Hall have tours of their facilities as well. If you want to check out a local club or bar or a musical act, I suggest picking up a copy of free newspaper The Village Voice. If you want to find video tapes of wrestling other than WWE in New York, your best bet is to head to Queens for the Ultimate Cards & Comics store owned by former ICW promoter Jac Sabboth. You can find their site at www.ICWZone.com. Saturday March 13th 8 AM- 5 PM Tommy Fierro's Fanslam convention at the Holiday Inn in Totowa, New Jersey will present a "Tribute to Wrestlemania I" Reuniting a number of cast members for the very first Wrestlemania event, Fanslam presents autograph signings, question and answer sessions and dealer tables to nab videos, photos, merchandise and much more.Scheduled to appear are Bobby Heenan, Buddy Rose, Tito Santana, King Kong Bundy, Captain Lou Albano, Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, Paul Orndorff, Ricky Steamboat, Bob Orton, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, David Sammartino, The Fabulous Moolah, and Leilani Kai. Beyond those "official" guests, others appearing include Sherri Martel, Larry Zybszko, and Bill Eadie (as both Demolition Ax and The Masked Superstar).Unlike WWE sponsored events, this will give you a chance to have a few minutes to talk to some of the stars of old as a few of the local independent stars mill around. Be sure to hit the vendor tables for Highspots and George Mayfield, as they are always who I make a personal beeline to for great products and prices. Fanslam prices varies, depending on what you intend to do. For details visit www.Fanslamwrestling.com. 12 PM- 2 PM Roddy Piper Question and Answer Session presented by Ring of Honor. ROH has a number of events in Elizabeth, New Jersey at the Rexplex, kicking off with two hours of another Wrestlemania 1 headliner Roddy Piper answering questions from the fans. $15. For details on this and the other ROH listed events, visit www.ROHWrestling.com. 2 PM-5 PM ROH Do or Die II convention and event in Elizabeth, New Jersey at the Rexplex. Roddy Piper will be signing ($15) and ROH will be presenting its second ever "Do or Die" card as stars from outside the promotion and up and comers compete to make a mark for themselves in the ROH storylines. The convention admission including the live wrestling card is the best bargain of the entire weekend, priced at $5 or FREE if you have a ringside ticket the first few rows for the ROH evening event.Scheduled to work at the convention card are Harry Smith, Jimmy Jacobs, Caprice Coleman, Danny Daniels, Rainman, Roderick Strong, The Christopher Street Connection with Ariel, Todd Sexton, Don Juan, Steve Madison, Jerelle Clark, Jared Steel, Slyk Wagner Brown, April Hunter, Brad Bradley, Outcast Killaz, Solution, Super Dragon, Excalibur, Austin Aries, and Special K. 7:30 PM -LATE Ring of Honor will present Scramble Cage II at the Rexplex in Elizabeth, New Jersey.During an interview with ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky last week, I asked Sapolsky about the Mania weekend event and why fans should attend the ROH event in lieu of WWE's Hall of Fame dinner, and he responded, "We are determined at Ring Of Honor to present the damndest show in ROH history on March 13th. When the weekend is over we want everyone to be talking about our show. When all the out of towners who went to both shows are traveling home on Monday morning we want them to be talking about how the ROH show was the best show of the weekend. Fans in attendance at the RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ are going to be on a roller coaster ride that you can't possibly prepare for. Whether its legends, classic matches, pure wrestling, insane high-flying, blood and guts, innovative action, top stars or whatever you want, we are going to deliver on March 13th. We know this is our chance to steal the spotlight and you better believe we are going to do it." The card that evening (priced at $20 general admission to $50 for ringside) features: *ROH champion Samoa Joe vs. Jay Briscoe in a Steel Cage match to blow off their feud.*ROH Pure Wrestling champion AJ Styles vs. CM Punk with Ricky Steamboat as ref.*The Carnage Crew vs.Special K in Scramble Cage II.*The Second City Saints' vs. Danny Maff & BJ WhitmerAlso scheduled for the show is a "Six Man Mayhem Match" match with Mark Briscoe vs. Jack Evans vs. 4 others to be named, a special ceremony for Roddy Piper, Jerry Lynn, John Walters, Jimmy Rave, Matt Stryker, Nigel McGiness, Xavier, Prince Nana and others schediled. There will be a bus trip from Queens and Manhattan to all three of the ROH festivities on Saturday. Details and prices will be announced shortly, but you can email AgentCLPT@aol.com for details. WWE Hall of Fame Dinner: SOLD OUT.WWE could always open up more tickets for the event, but it doesn't seem likely. Billed as a black-tie event, names such as Bobby Heenan, Jesse Ventura, Dusty Rhodes, Greg Valentine, and Superstar Graham are among those confirmed and rumored to be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame (which will have a special exhibit at the aforementioned Toys R' Us in Manhattan Wrestlemania week).WWE has advertised an open bar and a chance to meet stars from yesterday and today as well. If it wasn't for ROH on Saturday, this is where I would be. It will hopefully be a fun, classy night in a business that could always use more class.SUNDAY March 14th WWE Bacon, Bagels, & Biceps 10 AM Named by the late Mark Grossinger Etess, who was President of the Trump Hotel and Casino, the brunch is one of the longest standing Wrestlemania weekend traditions, created back in 1988 at Wrestlemania IV in Atlantic City, New Jersey as an attempt to bring families to the Trump hotels for the weekend. The title was created by Etess, who was killed in a helicopter crash shortly after, and has remained the same out of respect to his memory since. The brunch has long been an event set for members of the WWE travel package, but is open to the public this year. Priced at $110, the brunch will include a question and answer session with about 12 WWE stars. Wrestlemania XX 7 PM- 12 AM. The reason you have all come to NYC.Monday March 14th WWE will be taping Raw and Heat at the nearby Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. If you are in Manhattan, you can take a bus ($6 round trip) from the Port Authority right to the Arena. When the show is over, there will be a fleet of buses waiting in line to take everyone back to NYC. It's a nice, stress free way to check out the show. WWE will have one of the biggest wrestling weekends of the year in March. Make sure you do your part to take the most of it if you are traveling to New York City.

bloody hell it's getting exciting now! :smug:

I was just going to mention the Metrocards - Johnson's got the price wrong.

From http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/metrocard/mcgtreng.htm - a week's/seven day's unlimited ride Metrocard (which is valid for bus and subways) costs $21.

When rides cost $2 each, they add up - and the card should save you some cash. One-day passes are also available for $7...

Another update here:The Ric Flair/HHH autograph signing in the Times Square Toys R Us is a ticket-only affair. There's 500 tickets, and you've gotta get a ticket by spending $20 in the WrestleMania XX shop (in the store) between March 1 and 10th (signing is on the 10th).Ticket holders will receive the Superstars
