Dai Posted March 13, 2025 Posted March 13, 2025 (edited) Would be curious of your rewatch of the main event, as from my memory going into round 5 I thought it was quite obvious that Pereira needed a KO. I was zoning in and out though so may not have been paying full attention. You're right about the state of the division though, I just looked at the rankings. Considering that this division has the second most Prestige of all the divisions, possibly with the exception of Welterweight, the talent pool has really thinned out when you look at it. Johnny Walker and Reyes are still somehow ranked. Edited March 13, 2025 by Dai Quote
Bruce85 Posted March 13, 2025 Posted March 13, 2025 Funny main event that, I thought it was definitely 2-1 going into the 5th with the 3rd round up in the air and could have been 3-1 or 2-2 (if that makes sense). It wasn’t the most exciting fights and one of those that didn’t really do much for either fighter. We can definitely all agree that the division is the bin at the moment. Just doesn’t seem like and fresh and exciting fights are there for either fighter. Even a rematch doesn’t excite me that much. The rest of the card (bar the women’s match) was alright, Ruffy’s KO is going to be shown on highlight packages for years to come! At least we have the exciting Vettori apex headliner to cleanse the pallet this weekend…. Quote
