Nate The Train and our Gerry both picking up wins is the sign of a good weekend for me.

? That is amazing. He looks like a Golem awaiting instructions.

Landwehr v Onama was completely bonkers. Way, way up there for a fight of the year contender for me. Swings and roundabouts all over the place. I haven't enjoyed a fight in that manner in several months.

'The Train' was absolutely knocked out in that first round, got hit with some follow up shots which woke him back up and seemed to give him a second wind. Mental. Then at the end of round two after having to wear Nate around like a rucksack for five minutes, Onama was sat on the stool and I genuinely thought he was going to fall off it sideways and need the o2 tank brought in, such was his exhaustion. For him to then go out, survive the round and almost put together a fight ending flurry in the dying embers, it was one of those fights that bond the two people for years after it. A Choi/Swanson type of madness, for a somewhat modern example. It's a common enough phrase that we through around a lot, but man, those two really packed a whole lotta livin' into those fifteen minutes.
