Paid Members Jazzy G Posted August 14, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted August 14, 2021 So it turns out Dominic DeNucci, who teamed with Sammartino back in the 70s and trained, among others, Shane Douglas and Mick Foley has passed away at the she of 89. https://triblive.com/sports/pro-wrestling-star-dominic-denucci-dies-at-age-89/

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted August 16, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted August 16, 2021 When I think of him, it's either as the trainer from Foley's book and documentary or as a jobber on some late 70s/early 80s WWF TV. It's easily forgotten that not long before that, he was Tag Champ with Dino Bravo, his second title win and third if you count the long forgotten International tag titles that he held with Bruno when Bruno was coming off his 8 year reign as Champion. He was a big fella, though dwarfed by Hogan in the matches you can find on YouTube when Hogan was a heel, always looked happy and a genuine Italian. "Retired" in the 1980s but was still working some matches into his 70s!
