Fog Dude Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 I'm having a bit of an end-of-season surge lately. Shame I started off so badly! Indeed you are, and you're now well clear of the lower end of the table. However, it's another newcomer who made a shaky start, Bradyisgod22, who is now doing even better. As this round's top scorer, he's moved into upper mid-table at worst - and a late entry into the ultra-close race for second position isn't entirely out of the question. Worst performer ultimo, in contrast, sinks deeper into the bottom five, whilst the duo at the very foot of the standings again swap places this time out. The gap at the summit has been cut slightly to 16 points, but at this stage, that's surely not sufficient to overhaul champion-elect SNRN10. To the matches then: draws at Turf Moor, Old Trafford and the Stadium of Light were generally good for at least one-pointers, whilst Spurs' home win proved fruitful, along with City's victory at the Liberty Stadium... but nobody quite managed the exact score for the latter result despite a couple of close calls. Narrow triumphs for Juve and Roma in Italy were also useful, but unforeseen successes on the road for Palace (amusingly ruining Stevie G's farewell in the process) and Everton, as well as a potentially catastrophic second-half collapse for Newcastle at Loftus Road, caught most participants out. As I warned in the original version of the opening post, this is going out a day later than usual, so I'll get on with the next set of 10 (and it will be the last set of precisely *10* this campaign) straight away.
