As many people have written messages and contacted us we wanted to clarify a few things and answer several questions in one post: * This has no bearing on any other bookings we are working on for Saturday or Sunday. We continue to speak to some potential 'headline' level guests -beyond who is already appearing. This is an extra because it came to us late and by surprise. * The Undertaker was originally booked for Sunday only. At this point we were under the impression that this was the only date he was available for. After recent contact with his representatives the option of doing Saturday as well opened up. Considering the overwhelming demand, as well as many questions over whether he would do autographs, we decided to add the Saturday. Our choice in the last week was do the Saturday or not. The situation basically changed from the initial Sunday only booking. The Undertaker has highly professional, very respected industry management, this situation was not created on purpose by either side. * If you want to swap your tickets from Saturday to Sunday that will be possible. Likewise if you want to move your photograph with Taker to Saturday that will also be possible. Please bear in mind that both dates will still have very strict capacities however, so the caveat of 'subject to availability' is always there. This has come about quickly so we need to speak to our ticketing agency - Ticket Quarter - in the morning to arrange this. Anyone wishing to switch their tickets over call 0344 8000 410. * Originally because of our limited time with The Undertaker we made the difficult decision to only sell Photographs. As we have longer over the weekend, and due to demand we decided this week to add autographs now he is with us both days. * The decision hasn't yet been made whether to add autographs now to Sunday. It really depends if there are a large number of people who want to switch days. If - as a total example - 25% of people switch to Saturdays then we may well have time to add autographs now on the Sunday. * Prices are set in conjunction with guests representatives. That is the same with everyone we have booked. Sometimes prices vary if the guest or their management feel that an items resale value with a signature is significantly higher than another (eg. a belt vs a photo). We accept that this isn't popular, we are just articulating it. * The Undertaker will not be doing a Q&A on Saturday as well as the one scheduled for Sunday. Not all wrestlers are doing each day, as of course we don't want the days to be identical. It is common guests only do one Q&A over a weekend. * We have more announcements to come. As we often mention, this is a fan run event. We could've just left kept this guest to Sunday only which had already sold out. Instead we are trying to improve the event for people. Likewise we are trying to update you quickly on a situation which is also very new for us as well. This is why we still need to work through the logistics ourselves, whilst being accommodating and allowing people to switch dates. It makes it more complicated for us, but we want to be as helpful as we can. Enjoy yourself - this show is going to be a lot of fun! LSM
Honky Tonk Man has cancelled the "For Love of Wrestling" convention. Below is the official statement: WAYNE FERRIS UPDATE We're very disappointed to announce that Wayne Ferris (aka The Honky Tonk Man) will be unable to attend For the Love of Wrestling. Due to his recent induction to the Hall of Fame, he now has a professional and contractual commitment to WWE and this unfortunately means he can't be at our show. Wayne was one of the first guests we'd booked and had sent us a great promo video for the event, so we're gutted that he can't be here in April. We will of course look to get him back for next years show, and congratulate him on his well earned induction into the Hall - he certainly deserves the accolade for a great career. Refunds for anyone who has bought a photograph or an autograph will be processed automatically over the next few days by our ticketing partners - Ticket Quarter.
