Fog Dude
The results went into the first post on Sunday night, I figured out the new table the following day and uploaded it a couple of hours ago. In a fairly low-scoring round, the gap at the top remains the same, but there's a bit of significant movement in mid-table. Prince Nana is the best performer among the 19 participants this time out, as the only one with more than 2 exact scores and one of 3 players in double figures. Seph's gamble of betting on nine- and eighteen-goal thrillers unsurprisingly failed to yield any three-pointers, but a haul of 6 points was close to the average for the week. Unfortunately for him, TUFCfan did even better, thereby widening the deficit at the wrong end to 14 points. Del, hbk4life and the snowman were joint worst scorers. Glenryck for some reason didn't take part. Away victories for Chelsea, Dundee United and Barcelona in each of the 3 competitions covered were the most popular and successful picks. A similar result at Loftus Road also proved somewhat fruitful thanks to a very late winner, whilst a draw at Upton Park was also quite useful. The same scoreline at the Liberty Stadium turned out to be tougher to guess, as did a dreary stalemate in the Merseyside derby - so much for a riot risk! As you'd expect, nobody managed to foresee the goalfests in Spain, but Atlético's triumph cost a lot of people one point, never mind the margin of victory. Leicester's reverse at home to Palace also caught out a fair lot of you, and lastly, well done to the few who went with a hunch that the Scottish Cup holders would be dumped out unceremoniously at Palmerston Park. There isn't really anything more to say now that the D2Ds are over for another season. Another non-gimmicked set of 10 coming up in few ticks, then...
