It's been a crazy few days, so I only got round to putting the results in the first post and updating the table earlier tonight. Anyway, stunstone has extended his lead to a dozen points after a high-scoring round, while the gap at the bottom increases to eleven. TildeGuy climbs the standings with an impressive 15-point haul, but as he's not at the top, his 4 exact scores no longer yield one bonus point to everyone else. In a week when correct results seemed easy to come by for most participants, Prince Nana somehow contrived to have a 'mare, scoring just 3.

Strangely enough it was the 3 Premier League games that seemed to cause me the most trouble. Nobody thought Sunderland would get any more than a point at the Sports Direct Arena despite the home side's European efforts just a couple of nights prior and the seemingly inspirational new managerial appointment on the part of the visitors. Two draws in that division's selected Saturday 3 o'clock games weren't much more help for most either, however.

The FA Cup ties proved far more fruitful, as only one numpty backed Millwall (guess who) and the vast majority also went for City in what was always likely to be a tighter affair to call, with a lot managing 3-pointers for one or both outcomes. While it seems everyone got the right result from the Scots semi, who could've foreseen that both of that competition's matches would be two-hour seven-goal thrillers? Defending is becoming a lost art north of the border, it would appear.

The meetings on the continent weren't too bad either. Victories on their travels for two clubs in the Champions League places in Spain were useful, whereas it was home wins that helped a lot of players to an extra point or two in the French clashes. Only one pick out of 39 yielded a correct scoreline for that country though.

All right, that's it for this week. Sorry for the delay in figuring out the table. New thread coming up shortly.

Yeah, it's interesting. I seem to have compleatly crashed on the whole I've been quite good at geting correct scores I was second highest scorer on that but this week I have droped to fourth thanks for not geting a single one in the last 3 weeks.

I have been lowest scorer for the past two weeks and if it wasn't for me correctly predicting that st mirin would draw with celtic the week prior it would have been 3.

I've notiched how confidence plays a factor as well now because if you are on a poor run of form you start doubting your less popular preditions.

If I don't start to improve I'm heading straight for the bottom that's how bad my form is. But we will see. :)
