King Pitcos Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Ryder would definitely do well on the indies for a bit, and potentially as a mainstay, I reckon. For a released talent, he'd have a lot of name value to normals and nerds (both WWE nerds and anti-WWE nerds). He's got recognisable moves and gestures, and could make a good bit of coin on merchandise. I don't know that he'd have any interest in reinventing himself in ROH/Japan/etc. He's always been WWF and WCW through and through, and never used to pay any attention to his mate Hawkins when he'd bang on about indies. At least for the first six months, Ryder would make better money per gig than any ex-WWE wrestler working the circuit at the moment unless someone mad like Kofi or Miz went that way as well.
