Forrest
On a side note, the Bay has closed down as of yesterday. I was putting a gig on in there in August and got a phone call yesterday morning saying they had been ordered to shut up shop effective immediately by the brewery, which is a massive shame because they were the only venue who had free hire with PA and Soundman included and was a great wee pub. Â Dark times.

Im mates with Darren that worked there, told me the venue was doing the best buisness it had ever done the brewrey just got offered funny money to sell the premises. Sad times, was my local. One of very few pubs in the town that wasnt full of fakes and up its own arse. Seems like all those venues in town are being smoked out and replaced by those trendy overpriced pubs, even the rock pubs are all taking thier posters down and repainting everything. On a side note i bought the last drink ever sold in The Bay on Monday night.

I remember 6 months ago there was a phase where pubs like Dark Souls and Cellars were being snapped up by this one guy who basically ran them into the ground. He acted the arse and eventually goaded the staff into either slipping up so he could sack them or just leading them to quit. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same guy.  And I bet he ruined O'Neills on George Street too.
Dr Reefer
We had a fella down here that did the same thing, but with all the theme parks on the coast. Luxury Flats and more Tescos was the general plan.

Why ICW is being made the scapegoat I have no idea. I wonder if ICW could sue Mychannel for damages? That's my take on it. MyChannel made the mistake. MyChannel scheduled the programme for that time, it's not like Dallas rang them up from the pub and went, "Ere. I'll be home about 5am, you fancy putting my show on for when I get in?" Dr Reefer
Where does it say ICW were at fault? More to the point where does it say ICW should be banned? Surely if the scheduling problem is fixed then OFCOM have no issues.
