wwffan2
I have just finished watching the ring of glory dvd and have to say its the strangest show I have ever witnessed featuring Paul Bearer as the devil and other stars. Just wondered everyone's thoughts of this promotion ?
Richie Freebird
Was this something to do with Russo "finding God"? I saw it advertized on Highpsots years ago but thought better of it.

Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 27, 2011 Moderators Share Posted September 27, 2011 If I remember correctly, doesn't it have a wrestling janitor who's actually jesus who's fighting for Jimmy Rave's soul?

Yeah I think he was a handyman and apparently all the wrestlers wrestled for free its like TNA with even worse storylines.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 27, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 27, 2011 In the words of Greg Valentine "it was a good payday". Half of the roster werent "saved". You didnt have to pay tax or rent because it was a religious event. So everyone on the card did well out of it. DiBiase heard about it, so he ran shows using the same formular. Beefcake and Jannetty worked his shows. Two people who I dont think of when I think of broad beans sleeping in a blankety bed.
