Malaga 0 - 3 Juventus

Clinical finishing was the difference in a game that was a more evenly than the scoreline suggests. Juventus almost opened the scoring early on when they hit the bar. Matri opened the scoring the 27th minute when his turn and shot on the edge of the box found the bottom corner. Malaga tried for an equaliser but efforts from Julio Baptista and Santi Cazorla went just wide. Juventus made it two on the stroke of half time when Matri scored after a quick counter attack. The second half was relatively even again but Juventus put the game out of sight when the ball was cut back to Matri in the box and he completed his hat-trick when he placed the ball into the open net.

Juventus goals: Matri (27', 45', 57')

Juventus 1 - 1 Bayer Leverkusen

Del Piero Kiebling

A tense affair at the new Juventus stadium which ended 1-1. Bayer took the lead after 18 minutes when Kiebling managed to poke the ball home from about 18 yards which crept on the inside of the post. Juve threw the kitchen sink at the Bayer goal in a search of an equalizer but just could not find the target. The team from Turin finally managed to get back on even terms after Del Piero was put through on goal from 6 yards out and could not miss. Bayer nearly stole all three points after Schruler forced a save in injury time and the resulting corner saw a header whisk past the post.

A fair result in the end. Games between me and Louch are always a close encounter.

Notes:

The table has been updated and is also on the first post.

Lille top the table at the end of an excellent week two for them, including a new league record win over Villarreal, which finished 12-1 to the French side. Last week's leaders Marseille drop to second but still have a 100% record and have a game in hand over Lille. Defending champ wmxxx's PSG side also have a 100% record in third with Dortmund and Benfica also on nine points. Sporting still prop up the table but showed fight against Atletico.

The early top two face off this week as Lille face the unbeaten Marseille. Lille also have a tough game against fifth placed Benfica. Unbeaten PSG face unbeaten CSKA this week as one or both of those teams will lose their 100% record this week. There's also a fourth versus fifth battle this week as Dortmund face Benfica. The bottom two also face a tough week as Villarreal face the always tough blackcountrywwfc's Roma and Louch's Juventus. Sporting face TezzRexx's Lazio and RobJ 87's Zenit.

As El Nicko Loco has dropped out for now, Lyon are free. TapOut Tapes seemed the person most likely to be able to start now so I've messaged him and am waiting for a response.

Also I've added Tildeguy's goal scoring table to the first post for easy reference.
