David
Are people actually aware that as well as the forum site, Sherdog.net, there's the actual Sherdog website, Sherdog.com, which features news articles, opinion blogs, video interviews with fighters and pretty much a new podcast every other day?I sometimes get the feeling that people dismiss Sherdog as a forum site, completely missing the actual site itself. Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted January 10, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 10, 2012 I am actually put off the Sherdog site because of how bad the forum is. I know the site itself is pretty decent but I prefer Junkie's setup for news articles and the like.
Rey_Piste
The Sherdog site is good, just a few too many opinion pieces for my liking. I generally just stick to news stuff.
jimufctna24
It gets a lot of shit, but I visit mmabay.co.uk daily.I do read Sherdog and I did go on MMAPlayground until my fight camp got banned.Underground has a decent forum, only place I post these days is here though. I know the site itself is pretty decent but I prefer Junkie's setup for news articles and the like.I had the Sherdog forums in my RSS feeds for all of about 3 hours before I removed it. Junkie & MMA Torch are my sites of choice, mainly because they have apps. MMA Weekly is quite a good site as well.It gets a lot of shit, but I visit mmabay.co.uk daily.I do read Sherdog and I did go on MMAPlayground until my fight camp got banned.Underground has a decent forum, only place I post these days is here though.Sorry for the Double post. How did you manage that? David
Just days after announcing that Finland lightweight Niko Puhakka would be fighting Artur Sowinski for the vacant lightweight title, Polish organisation KSW has pulled him from the bout. The move was made after fan outcry over Puhakka

So our entire fight camp got banned, I have tried signing up since but my IP Address is on there hitlist, sucks because it was a good site to do picks. Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted January 10, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 10, 2012 I've noticed that this has dragged up the whole racist tattoo carry-on again though, mainly with people pointing out that Puhakka's tattoos are deemed offensive, and rightly so, but that someone like Cain Velasquez can openly display tattoos like his "brown pride" one;Imagine the furore if a fighter of European descent were to have "white pride" tattooed across his chest? Double standards?Fucking hell. "How come there's no MOWO awards?"
David
Fucking hell. "How come there's no MOWO awards?"Again, almost worthy of a VuVu, my self-publishing friend. Keep trying

Keep trying Christ you're tiresome. Which is it - complete idiot, or outright trolling? Because as I'm sure we all know, there's hardly a weight of horrible history behind the phrase BROWN PRIDE. darepool
I use MMATORCH app on my ipad. No annoying advertisements, easy to navigate and all the big news/rumors tend to be up rather quick. ASide from the occasional annoying writer, it tends to be a good read

Because as I'm sure we all know, there's hardly a weight of horrible history behind the phrase BROWN PRIDE.Well, the "brown pride" tattoo has been linked to Mexican drug cartels & gangsters, hasn't it? Just because the tattoo doesn't have the race implications that the Finnish lads does doesn't mean it's not offensive to some.Being as you're now an ~MMA fan~ surely you'll know that the discussions regarding Velasquez tattoo have been going on for ages now? As men much more respected than myself have said in the past, if you don't want to discuss the matter, don't hit the reply button.

John Galt
The Brown Pride tattoo would be at least vaguely acceptable were Cain not born, raised and lived all his life in America. First Mexican champ, indeed.
