Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 10, 2011 i know it can be hard to follow Bellator seeings that the schedule of fights this year is ridiculous but it is worth it, athe shows bang out at about 90mins, well worth your time.  Yeah I deffo need to get on them. I've been meaning to for months and just let myself fall so far behind with em that I've now got a shitload to catch up on. Too much MMA to watch...it's a nice problem to have  oh from next year too, facebook prelims will indeed end. Them prelims will goto Fuel TV, whilst the current Spike! portions will be on FX. Every fight still gets aired, hopefully they get them all on a tv station over here.  That's good to hear. Be nice to have them all on TV. I'd assume FX would air the Spike prelims here aswell if they're gonna be on there in the US. Dunno about the rest of the prelims though?
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 10, 2011 i was quite surprised to see that Aldo/Mendes looks like it's headlining the next Brazil show, that's a smaller fight that than the Aldo/Florian fight and it aint being back up by another title fight. Â Hmmm yeah never realized that. They could have put Silva vs Sonnen 2 on there if it wasn't for the fact Sonnen would get shot.

That will sell though in Brazil because it's Jose Aldo main eventing. They'll most likely back the main event up with other big name Brazilians to get PPV buys. Big Nog and Vitor Belfort could both fight on that card and it would sell.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 10, 2011 oh it's going to sell out the arena, i aint questioning that. I'm talking about PPV sales.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 10, 2011 BAMMA 8 has finally been announced, less than a month out from the show...   Light Heavyweight Fight Jimi Manuwa vs Antony Rea  Welterweight Fight Jimmy Wallhead vs Joey Villasenor  World Lightweight Title Eliminator Andre Winner vs Niko Puhakka  Lonsdale British Middleweight Title Jack Marshman vs Leeroy Barnes  Bantamweight Fight Paul McVeigh vs Erik Perez  Lightweight Fight Curt Warburton vs Tim Newman  Light Heavyweight Fight Jason Jones vs Mark Godbeer  Welterweight Fight Dean Amasinger vs Danny Mitchell  Lightweight Fight Colin Fletcher vs Chris Fishgold  Welterweight Fight Tom Breese vs Qasim Shafiq  Bantamweight Fight Brian Hyslop vs Owen Gayle  quality little fight card again, it's a shame the Marquadt fight fell through (he debuts at BAMMA 9 vs. Yoshida), but i'll be looking forward to settling down with a beer for this. Jimi Manuwa's signing is a good one, the fact that he's pumped to the main event ahead of some decent names shows that they put a lot of stock in him. Curt Warburton debuting too

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 Yeah Brittney's smokin hot. I heard Cerrone was dicking her a while back. That fuckers a winner at life not just MMA, "Go get some Donald Cer-ro-neeee" Â BAMMA looks good. Thought Winner was gonna be fighting Paul Kelly though? I was really looking forward to that. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 Oh yeh, i forgot about Winner-Kelly, that would have been good. Â Im pretty sure all the rings girls have been with a fighter... Â Palmer and Cowboy (bastard!) Arianny and Roger Huerta Diego Sanchez and that blonde piece whos name ive forgotten Phil Davis wanted some of Chandella, dunno if that came to fruition though? Rachelle was banging someone as well? Cant remember who though. Â Ring girls just take their pick i suppose.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 I think Arianny's been had by most of the roster. She's fit as fuck but she's got no standards that one, apparently she's riding Tiki's rotten rod now. I bet if you so much as inhaled within 20 feet of their bed you'd be riddled with all manner of STDs. Filth the pair of em.  Just read this from a John Maguire interview  Would you take a fight against another Brit then if it was offered? It depends if it
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 Renan Barao is calling for a shot at Dominick Cruz's title. Â Would be an interesting fight but I can't see him getting the shot yet. He's on a massive winning streak but Pickett was his first top name win and the winner of Faber vs Bowles is surely the front runner for the title shot. Especially if Bowles wins seeing how he lost the title. Â Plus Cruz is still on the shelf with his hand. I think we might get Barao vs Jorgensen or Benavidez next. Â EDIT - Just noticed it's your birthday Ebb. Happy 93rd

Hope and expect Faber to beat Bowles, I want Cruz/Faber III because the second fight they had this year was one of 2011's best fights.  mmajunkie.com is reporting that the winner of Ben Henderson/Clay Guida this Saturday will fight Frankie Edgar for the UFC Lightweight Championship on the Japan show. Come on Ben!
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 I think the Japanese will love Edgar. They're all about the fighting spirit and if they've seen Edgar's last 2 fights with Gray Maynard they'll be loving Frankie. Â Whoever wins out of Clay and Bendo, either way I think we've got a great title fight. Â People shat on Clay's fight with Pettis and his style in general. I liked Guida/Pettis even though it wasn't the FOTY that was expected going in. The thing with an Edgar vs Guida fight is Clay wouldn't be able to dominate Frankie with wrestling and for that reason I think it could turn into one of them crazy Clay fights like the Sanchez, Griffin, Huerta fights were. It happens pretty much every time Clay can't outwrestle his opponent. Â Edgar vs Henderson would be awesome. Bendo's came on in all areas since the loss to Pettis imo. The way he went through Jim Miller was an eye opener. He's looked tremendous and I think he could give Edgar a run for his money. Â I'd pick Edgar to beat either of them but I think both would be great fights.
Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted November 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 11, 2011 Pettis/Lauzon verbally agreed for Superbowl weekend  Was hoping this would go down. As much of a fast paced, firework filled fight that you could wish for on paper. Should be bonkers.
