Paid Members tiger_rick Posted January 6, 2008 Paid Members Posted January 6, 2008 Voting for the best BRITISH pro-wrestler of 2007.This category covers the British pro-wrestling scene, so Nigel McGuiness, Fit Finlay, etc do not count. Apologies for not remembering to mention of this before nominations started AGAIN.Discussion allowed.
Daniel Edler Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 If Zebra Kid had been around on the scene all year, i'd probably vote for him but as it is i'd say the best all-rounder in this country this year, from THAT list, has to be Martin Stone.
Big Rob Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I voted for El Ligero, great in both singles and tag matches, at the top of the card or opening up a show. Zebra will probably get it next year, but hasn't had a full schedule in 2007.
Dynamite Duane Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I would have voted Robbie Brookside but he's not in it, so I voted Doug Williams.
Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted January 14, 2008 Paid Members Posted January 14, 2008 Of the 10 names, every single one of them has had an excellent year and, without exception, they seemed tohave a better 2007 than they did 2006.However, from the 10, Martin Stone was consistently brilliant against the widest range of opponents, in the widest range of match types, in front of the widest range of audience types. He gets my vote for the 2nd year running.
Paid Members Gordon_The_Gopher Posted January 17, 2008 Paid Members Posted January 17, 2008 (edited) El Ligero for me, entertaining as hell wherever I have seen him! Good job there was no Bubblegum, that would have been a tough call! Edited January 17, 2008 by Gordon_The_Gopher
