  1. There will also be people like me that despite being prime age for this sort of thing, I'm a bit hopeless with technology and what have you and I just want my TV on my TV. IE not streaming, not having several different subscriptions to get all I have now, not having to use a console to access, or 'cast' it to the TV. I'm still not even sure what that means nevermind able to do it.

Genuine question, but is the WWE TV product a massive 'get' in this day and age?

I mean in terms of the WWE network now being a thing and in comparison to its popularity in days gone by.

Doubtful, but there must be a few folk that watch it every week at the minute and would probably look at switching or adding BT Sport to their package if it moves. I'd look at adding BT Sport to mine if the price was right, but keep Sky for the football.

  3. I prefer not to see spoilers but don't actively avoid social media in order to do so. I'll not read a thread on here til I've watched the show but don't go overboard trying to avoid spoilers.

as a result, now a days, if I see spoilers for Raw it generally means something noteworthy has happened and its worth seeing - if I go through an entire day without seeing any spoilers on my timelime you can safely assume it was a crap Raw/Smackdown.

  4. gotta love Meltzer with his 'scoop' in the latest Observer.

"Moxley will be back on the indies in June, if not earlier" well fucking yes, it's not exactly a stretch to say he might wrestle a match at some stage in the next couple of months.

It would be dragging down the Co-Efficients too. Reason why Scotland stopped giving the beaten Scottish Cup Finalists or League Cup Winners a place. Probably started around the time Gretna were humped by somebody. Might have been Derry City.

It was Derry City. They qualified after losing to Hearts in the cup final, drew Derry in the qualifying round and shipped about 6 in both legs.

  6. watched this, don't tend to watch the weekly NXT TV but catch Takeover etc.

thought it was a good show, some excellent matches, and the main event was great too, but just too many kick outs. it became silly, and I was taken out of the match completely by how ridiculous the amount of punishment Gargano was taking and still kicking out was.

  7. the Becky/Ronda/Charlotte skit was absolutely brilliant. I was howling all the way through the backstage part, and that knee was brutal! as someone so eloquently put it on here - when its good it's fucking great!

Early Doors was great. They are doing, or have done, a stage show version of it (which can totally work)

Third series now would work wonderfully.

went to see the stage show at Leeds Arena, it was terrific - it had a number of the original cast, and the replacements weren't too bad. it was a new story and was genuinely funny. really good stuff. thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd love a third series.

Never let context get in the way of having a laugh with your clique

I mean, in fairness, you have said "we can't all be fat bastards" and then told us you order extra food when getting a takeaway so you can eat it the next day aswell.. that's pretty contradictory.

  10. I watch Raw every week, generally in its entirety, partly out of habit and partly cos I've nothing better to do but I'll tell you what some weeks its an absolute chore.this weeks was a bit... boring...it was just..there. it happened.

The NXT call ups are just bizarre - why in the world would you just present them like that? no back story, no reason for the fans to care, unless you happen to tune into the network every week to watch NXT, you might know their names, but you don't know anything about them or who they are. The booking is baffling aswell - I sat watching EC wondering why Balor and/or Kurt hadn't helped Brawn like on the previous Raw - on Raw i wondered where McIntyre and Lashley were. what struck me during that tables match was how quickly and sharply they've cooled Brawn - a couple of months ago he was one of the hottest acts on the show, and was on top of the card in the title picture - now hes treading water and stuck in the midcard, not in a title picture and still feuding with Baron, who hasn't been GM for ages now.

I got the impression watching the show that they are just chucking shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. it's as if Vince has shit himself at the ratings, talked to HHH and gone "right, get me your NXT guys. people like them, right?"

other than Brock vs Rollins, and Becky vs Ronda vs Charlotte I don't think I can tell you much of what else will go down at 'Mania.. that seems a bit weird with about 6/7 weeks til the show and about 8 more matches to announce.

also, what was with Triple H saying that Becky's invasion of EC, and the beatdown he laid on his top female stars was "pretty cool"?? that seemed an absolutely bizarre thing to say for his character. I would have imagined he'd be furious about it and threatening legal action or what have you.

  11. in terms of Wrestlemania business, buy rates, ticket sales etc etc putting Charlotte in wouldn't do anything at all either positively or negatively, but it would disappoint a lot of people who don't want her in that spot.

so I've no doubt they'll do it.
