  1. I'm baffled as to how Jimmy Havok has got a contract for a pro wrestling company, nevermind one as big as AEW. he's the shits. and looks like I could take him down if I wanted to.

and I'm incredibly unthreatening, a bit clumsy and spectacularly unfit.

  2. if you don't like watching WWE programming, or don't agree with their output, then don't watch. turn the channel over. it's your own decision and everyone respects that.

I personally think it's pointless going on twitter to complain to sponsors or posting on here virtue signalling about 'triggering' aswell as a little bit pathetic. if you don't like it, don't watch it. easy.

..but they're not saying the winners get a bye... they're saying the winners get the opportunity at a bye...

no I know. the winners of this match get another match, the winners of that match get a bye.

So that's the 3 guys on the left v the two guys and the girl on the right, right?

...and the stipulation confuses me... the winners don't get a bye, they get an opportunity at a bye?.... what's the opportunity?

another match, where the winnmers get the bye as far as I can gather.

    it's very convoluted.

How's O'Donnell been doing in goal for you lot?

I don't rate him. a lot of other fans think he's solid enough for where we're at but I'm not convinced. he only got people onside last year because he acted like a cheerleader in front of the kop stand whenever we scored.

  6. bit off topic but I always enjoy it in Rumble's when the commentators make a big deal of how long someones been in but it's not actually that impressive. for example, they seemed to it loads in 1995. "crush has been in there for over 10 minutes!"

10 minutes? blimey he must be on the verge of passing out.

Talking of other kid's of former "greats", we had George Moncur, son of former West Ham player John Moncur until January of last year, when he went to Luton. He's a classic example of a player having a god gifted talent, but not having the application to make the most of it. We got1 good game in every 6 appearances from him at best. Also, from what I can gather, his dad is really hands on with his career and was often of the phone to his manager demanding to know why the club wasn't building a team around him, which I can imagine went down well.

Ha. Andrew Cole made a visit to our training ground to talk to Phil Parkinson about why we weren't picking Devante Cole, and not playing to his strength's. he was soon shipped off to fleetwood in a swap deal, we took Jamie Proctor. who was much better.

I see we've just signed Sherwin Seedorf from Wolves, who'll line up alongside Devante Cole, son of former United striker Andy. Any other former greats who have relatives who know how to play a bit?

Both have been at Bradford, not at the same time, and were terrible. we punted Cole off quick sharp after about 3 months. Sherwin was on loan at the start of last season and was woeful. but then the entire team was woeful.

hopefully he fares better up there. I've a lot of time for Motherwell.

A few years back whilst driving back to Glasgow from visiting family in Coventry I stopped off at Lancaster services. I parked the car and went in for maybe 5 minutes with the wife and as we were getting back into the car someone I worked with at the time parked in the space next to me. Maybe not that thrilling but we didn't know what car each other drove I only noticed as they were getting out. I felt the odds on being at a random service station on a random day at the same time in spaces next to each other was pretty long. Nobody has ever seemed remotely the same about it.

Similar to mine. a few years ago I attended the first night of the Peter Kay (i know) residency he did at Manchester Arena (he was there about 50 nights or something) when I arrived and took my seat, I looked to my side and saw a good friend of mine sat in the next seat. we hadn't gone together, didn't buy together, didn't know he was going at all, nevermind to that particular night. massive coincidence.

Also, for a country with such a small land-mass, we get more regular WWE tours than anybody else. 2-3 tours per year, all within driving or coach/train distance, yet people are still using the 'staying up late for the telly' crutch.

I wouldn't mind but we DON'T have to stay up late for the PPV's. it's on demand on the wwe network immediately when its finished. just get up and put it on with your morning brew if you don't fancy staying up til 4/5am.

Did you not listen to his backstage segment?

He said he answered the door and nobody was there so has challenged this mystery person to fight him face to face at Extreme Rules.

I'm not surprised, after they knocked he continued talking at the camera for about 10 minutes. they probably thought he wasn't in.

Yeah I do find it pretty ridiculous. These people can't be going along to a show expecting anything other than what they're getting. It's hardly going to deviate from expectations much, and if that's the case then why do they go? I have no idea. Do they think it's suddenly going to change overnight into something amazing?

This is exactly it. they know what the WWE is, and what sort of product they are putting out. if you hate it that much, stop buying bloody tickets.

it's why I was annoyed at the crowd during the main event of Stomping Grounds - that was actually not a bad show, a few genuinely decent matches on there... but the live crowd absolutely shit all over the main event, chanting for daniel bryan, or aew, or other nonsense. granted it was a crap reveal for the referee, and the 'match' wasn't good, but it wasn't offensively bad, it was just a bit meh.

If Bischoff brings back 3 Minute Warning and Hot Lesbian Action I'll be all for it.

I know, I know..................All the Lesbians are dead now........ :(

well, they did appear to be teasing a lesbian angle between Mandy and Sonya on Smackers last week.

  14. also, while I'm thinking about it - this might not be a popular opinion, but I HATED the crowd during the main event. sure it was a crap choice for the referee, and the match was pretty poor all told, but up til that point you'd had 3 or else 4 really good matches, a couple of passable ones and this. not every match is going to be a barn burner, the incessant chanting of this is awful, boring, aew, cm punk, daniel bryan was incredibly annoying.
