  1. I'm not going to pay for Fite TV, cheap though it is. I'm a traditional viewer. I only fairly recently bothered with netflix, and thats because it's a simple button on my remote for my smart tv.

as I said previously, I probably will skyplus the sunday morning showing, but it will be heavily edited to fit the timeslot, and I'll know the spoilers by then. so it takes away a fair bit. I'd love a Thursday night showing. even if it's at stupid o clock, aslong as it's not heavily censored and I can skyplus it or get it from on demand, that'd far better.

It now emerges WWE had a reason beyond spite for shearing Southside of their contracted stars. According to Mike Johnson, writing in PWInsider, NXT officials grew concerned that the event is technically to be ran by RevPro, following an incident this past month which saw referee Aaren Wilde legitimately attacked.

WWE decided they did not want their talent appearing in an environment which they did not approve of, nor subject them to any possible danger that could risk them missing upcoming NXT UK shows.

It's understood the decision is not predicated on RevPro's ongoing relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Ian Rotten apparently becoming woke is only the second most fucked up thing about 2019 IWA-MS. They currently run in a building with a ban on blood!!

Anyway, take it with a whole heap of salt, I saw a tweet from Ian's girlfriend that said "IWA has always been an inclusive environment". Seeing as I do a podcast about 2000s IWA-MS, CZW & ROH, I'd very much dispute that! My guess is because of aforementioned blood ban, Ian decided it was time to clean up the image. Most promotions advertising how inclusive they are are full of shit.

"Philanthrophy is the future of marketing"

sadly, it wasn't far wrong that comment. the only reason some companies promote anything to do with equality, charity, inclusion are doing so for one reason... and it isn't to help others. it's because they think it gets them good publicity.

I completely disagree they are a fantastic band for there genre and it's unfortunate that they have called it a day after this current tour is done.

Your calling a band that has endorsed you and helped you out awful? If they are that awful why let them endorse you

do they do covers? they should try for Xfactor or BGT. they might make it outside of Blackpool if they're that good.

If anything, WWE will use New Japan as an excuse, and folk like you will use Quildan/Bodom as a way to defend WWE's actions but it's clear to most sane, rational people that they were pulled just because WWE fancied flexing their muscles and it does them, and British wrestling, no good at all.

I don't think thats true. I think anyone that has this ridiculous notion that WWE are the big bad machine and full of spite will say its because of that, but most rational, sane people will know there is more to it.

WWE do business with murderous dictatorships, I'm pretty sure the Quildan/Bodom debacle is way under their radar.

It's clearly a case of WWE being right shitarses, and pulling two advertised talents close to show time just because they can. This is really going to fuck over the other WWE-UK contracted wrestlers too, as who in their right mind will continue to book and advertise them?

I can't see it. and the business you speak of is completely different. they are paid to take a show somewhere and put it on.

this here, they aren't getting paid anything and are not in control of the show - I don't blame them.

  7. It's more likely its because its very public that RevPro own southside, and after the massive furore last week with Bodum and the referee they don't want talent to be associated with Andy Quildan. and quite rightly.

also, Southside wouldn't exist if it wasn't for WWE, and the guys their losing wouldn't be Wrestlers if it wasn't for WWE, and they pay these guys a very healthy guarenteed sum every month - they can do what they want.

  8. This is so shit.

I'm as traditional a viewer and casual fan of AEW as they come - I won't be watching on a streaming service for 5 quid a month, and although I'll probably skyplus the sunday morning 2 hour show, I don't see how I'm likely to avoid spoilers for 4 DAYS, and how it can avoid being completely butchered in the edit.

    a real let down.

  9. I can't believe they had big heroic beast slaying babyface Seth Rollins scream in fear cowering away from The Fiend.

also, I know they've booked Braun into the toilet by not pulling the trigger on him, but he's still over though. good reaction in that opening segment, although that might be because Seth was going down like a lead balloon.

  10. as much as I didn't like him never being on the show, I'm starting to think they should put the belt back on Lesnar. he's the only one that really feels like a star.

Seth Rollins has beaten Lesnar twice, beat Braun, beat everyone who's challenged him, he's presented as the top babyface...and it still feels wrong. he just doesn't feel like the top guy. whether it's him, the booking of him, or a combination of both. it isn't working. for all the criticism of Roman getting shoved down our throats.... he feels a level above Seth at the minute, and would be a better Champion. I can't imagine he'd sit whimpering in the corner while The Fiend stares at him either.
