City closing the gap, but on the other hand Spurs lost again

The thing I've found with Pokemon games on the Switch, is that despite the kit being able to handle some excellent sound (see BOTW), the BGM still sounds like it's from a fucking DS.

38 is no age, his poor family.
Really liked his stuff when ROH first started, him and his brother are one of the best proper tag teams of the past 20 years. I was booked to wrestle him and Mark in 2005/06 or so (I was shitting myself, because they were the bloody Briscoe Brothers!) but sadly it never happened. RIP

Any one know when season 3 will be out?
No, they haven't announced a date yet
-
Was pretty damn good wasn't it? Having not owned a PlayStation since the PS2 I'm going in blind here, which I think is good as I'm not comparing it to the game
But yeah, brilliant first episode. Miles better than any of that Walking Dead shite that I've watched (all of first series, some of the second).

Skyfall.

Are United and Arsenal gonna fight it out for the title whilst Newcastle push for top four like I’m back in year 10 watching Liverpool play Brondby in the UEFA Cup?
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is going to fuck it all up for us by scoring when we play Leeds.
Richard Keys' odd obsession with Arteta continues. He's now blaming HIM for the Spurs fan trying to kick Ramsdale! Stupid fucking hairy-handed, daughter's-friend-violating, Qatarophilic prick.
-
Why did you just run on and kick Ramsdale, @SuperBacon?
Massive result and sets up the biggest Arsenal/United game for a very long time. 8 points clear and 14 points ahead of 5th- top 4 is looking good. Very disciplined performance, as hoped we have learnt a lot from the last game we played there.
Edit: oh and it was nice to see the ref paying attention to the 'kick Saka' game plan every team have these days. Makes a nice change.

Fucking loved that response. Made little sense but made you bat for Coleman even more.

Yeah god knows why

The absolute state of this. Mate, come on now.
Arsenal are currently very good. Spurs are currently very not. It's not hard to see how this one plays out.
Not at your place. I'm feeling a lot better about tomorrow than I was the last time we played there, I really think our players (and Arteta) will have learned a lot and will be more composed this time- but it doesn't matter. Kane wins North London derbies there. Form means shit in this fixture, just like when we play United and always seem to lose when they're at their lowest ebb.

The United / Arsenal axis is being reformed. The pizza is ready.
This will explain Richard Keys' recent contempt for Arsenal.
Tell you what, it'll be a lovely throwback (well, for some) if Arsenal and United end up battling for the title. Shame we're going to fuck things up tomorrow.
Onto Haaland- in the summer I thought it was a bit risky for City. Not because I didn't think he'd do well, but more that City have looked absolutely devastating over the past two years without a striker and have thrived with a false nine. Having Haaland has meant changing the way they play quite significantly in the final third- they are more direct. They will no doubt get the balance right at some point and start dominating again. I think they'll still win the title anyway.

second party titles
Second party games do tend to drop, but first party? Forget about it. A Mario and Zelda game retain their value until the next console is released.

Mudryk, Chelsea have just agreed a fee with Shakhtar.

€100m and a SEVEN AND A HALF year contract for a player that plays in a position that is well stocked and wanted another club anyway. Fuck me, this Boehly guy is taking the piss. Makes Abramovich seem like Mike Ashley.

Scroll past Chest, football Tweet incoming
Not going to spoil it, but there are two standout cameos for me
-
Yeah it's unlikely I'll ever play the games but I'd happily watch Pedro Pascal in anything.
Plus, Murray Bartlett (the hotel manager from White Lotus s1)!

If they were 10 points behind with one team to leapfrog, then I would be apprehensive to rule them out. But they have to overtake SIX teams to get there- three of which have a game in hand. I don't see them doing it, no matter who they have at the helm.
-
That loan deal looks even more expensive with a three game suspension thrown in now. Chelsea are the gift that keep on giving this season.

Wrestling figures are well stocked in every toy store. Huge sections in Smyths etc, and if they didn't sell they wouldn't bother and give more shelf space to Roblox Nerf guns or Pokemon.
The thing is, with 10yo and 13yo kids, being a coach of an U11 football team and having nieces and nephews galore, I can count on one hand how many kids I know that like wrestling. These figures are surely bought by grown men.

Watching The Sopranos for the first time and it‘s fantastic but I really hope Tony’s Mam gets offed at some point. She’s awful.
Wait for the episode that takes place after she passed away in real life. Some of the worst editing I've seen, up there with the deer in Walking Dead.

There's no chance this gets better
I don't know if this constitutes as getting better, worse or the same meddling mess- but Boehly has stumbled across the name Joao Felix being mentioned a lot on Twitter and has decided to pay a lot of money for him on a short term loan.

Also another keeper pretty much useless with the ball at his feet, right? An old school 'stay on your line' shotstopper.
Spurs will get Pickford if Everton go down surely, maybe even if they stay up. Lloris has been error prone for a good few years now, I remember not being surprised by the Mandzukic goal in the 2018 World Cup final.
