I knew nothing of this film until i clicked that link

theres 2 official trailers (on youtube), the second one makes it look like a generic action flick though which, IMHO, ruins the effort of the first trailer. But still, i`ll be seeing it

Just watched See No Evil (starring Kane)

it wasn`t that bad. Seriously. I was expecting a whole load of shite (going by other peoples comments) but it seemed to move along, sure theres about 20 minutes of nothing, but the set pieces were ok, the plot moved along (i`ve seen so many crap horror films where the plot either justs stops or isnt involved at all) and the gore wasn`t bad at all.

Linking the Kane aspect from WWE to Film was probably the biggest mistake they could have made. i feel if they hadn`t pushed the `Kane is a wrestler dont you know?` through the WWE and the DVD itself, it may have stood a little better. The film is only on for like 75 minutes which is exactly about right for this style of picture. Theres problems with it, kane`s not that great a monster, the scary parts arent that scary and theres a few aspects that seem to make no sense, the dog pee bit was so not necessary and the wank scene was way, WAY too much! but its not that far away from being good

The final death is quite well shown, even if a little comedy aspect was thrown in and the dog pee bit was not necessary but as said, it wasn`t that bad.

Is it worth a watch, sure. Is it worth watching twice? nope

I watched GI JOE the other night, and despite it being way too long and having lots of unintentional humour, I had a lot of fun. I personally don't feel the need to take a film to task that's as gloriously silly as this. Joseph-Gordon Levitt was ridiculous fun and if they are planning on recasting The Joker for the next Batman movie, I'd put him up there as a frontrunner.

 

Is that the same Joesph-Gordon Levitt from Third Rock from the Sun? I must watch this film if it is.

and another thing, just cause you can do s . l . o . w . m . o . t . i . o . n action scenes doesnt mean you have to!

not a bad film BUT

jeesus i`m feeling motion sickness now. What is it with using substandard special effects then covering them up with shakey cameras and explosions! and seeing 2 rather attractive women walking about in leather catsuits is not my idea of fun. Its my idea of fucking heaven.

watched `Land of the Lost` last night with will farrell

as a child of sunday morning tv programs i`ve seen most of the `lost in space` `planet of the apes` and `time tunnel` style programs, and been a fan of them, so when `Land of the Lost` started my heart gave a little jump when it dawned on me that this film was a throwback to them all!

its a good film. will farrell is will farrell. the special effects are great, not even good but great! the story leaves alot to be desired but that doesnt matter as its a 60`s sci-fi nod. BUT what stops this film being utterly amazing is the really crap script. its truely awful. the comedy isnt that funny, the sci-fi isnt that sci-fi and will farrell is will farrell.

an amazing looking and feeling film, let down by (at times) a truely woefull script and set comedy pieces.

WTF!

starts of slow as hell, then introduces a comedy family that play baseball!

then tries to regain some suspence by making the comedy family fight vampires?!?!

WTF!

bloody stupid film, seriously!

if the film maintained some logic then sure, it would work, but going by the giant open plots I guess theres at least 2 sequels coming out.

which will be fun if they center more on the family than the bloody crap main `romance` story

Mummy - Tomb of the dragon emperor for Father's Day. A fun action packed film with excellent special effects. Enjoyed but very fast paced movie.

I enjoyed this also but I did feel that if the film was about 30 minutes longer and elaborated on the Dragon emperors background and special powers would have been excellent.

The oriental thing really worked but seemed to get pushed to the side for comedy and american dribble.

watched Tokyo Gore Police as someone mentioned it was a good gore film.

I must disagree, what a load of todswhallop!

Quesiton. I want to take my brother to see Star Trek. If I go on a wednesdaty and use the Orange Wednesdays offer can I use my Unlimited Card as the paid ticket? I've heard you can but don't want to go and look like a tool.

normally the release companies make it that cinemas cant use the frequent viewer special cards for films
