  1. Looks a very good crowd and a lot better than All Japan and some NOAH attendances recently, EC3 went down very well in Japan, unusually loud crowd for a Japanese audience too, Havok went down very well too the Japanese love a monster/godzilla like gimmick, but Velvet Sky was bad I imagine she's off to whatever Jarrett's doing with Bully.

  2.

It is, well worth checking out.

Yeah, keep hearing about it so was planning to. It’ll be the first episode of Impact I’ve seen in months.

So what’s happening with Impact after this week/Bound For Glory? How far in advance have they taped, and at what point do they run out of taped episodes?

Tapings go up to November 19th, then there will be recap shows to basically talk about events over the past year (maybe a lot of EC3 on that show, he's their next top guy it looks like, he's not lost a match since he debuted last year), like a winter break, then there is a rumoured Live Impact (I stress, rumoured) on January 7th from NYC then the UK Tour. Anything could be announced between now and then, the deal is probably on a smaller network (WGN America/Velocity are two of the four interested parties), should they not get a TV deal then they could just keep filming for international markets since they've just signed multi year deals in various countries across the world. Speculation is being reported as fact by many, PWInsider/Meltzer/Keller, but it all honesty nobody really knows anything other than TNA themselves. Ultimately it is up to The Carters if they pull the plug and how much money they're prepared to put in, they own it.

  3.

That crowd is barely two people deep. Embarrassing. What were the sound levels like? As live it must have been like a sermon—able to hear someone at the other side of the room coughing.

It sounded awful on this week's Impact. You could make out individual voices.

I believe this was the same weekend that Chikara ran their three-day King Of Trios weekend, and that was doing three times the numbers at some points.

Didn't Spud appear at King of Trios?

  4. You should ask the dozens of staff and all those wrestlers they released if they are confident they arent struggling. At the end of the day they are wrestling people. I.e. a bunch of hype merchants and wishful thinkers. Even if they were shitting themselves, they aren't going to show their cards. Watch the Kaz and Daniels shoot interview. The internet was reporting that their deals weren't getting renewed and they were told "dont worry", so they assumed they were. The whole internet knew they were done before they were. Also, I fail to see how AJ Styles was "holding them to ransom". He gave them another 3 months after his deal was up and they low balled him. He left. They didn't sack him. They tried a nasty trick with loyal wrestler and someone they thought had no leverage and he showed he could make more money elsewhere. They put the belt on him and he did the job on the way out. He acted professionally throughout.

They couldn't afford the money he wanted at a time of austerity, yeah it'll piss off a lot of people but they're not going beyond their means anymore and he left, simple as, two sides to every story, I have a hard time in believing everything AJ Styles says 100% after the Lionheart incident and trying to make him look stupid on Chris Jericho's podcast.

I'm going by what is being reported by the Observer, ProWrestling.net and PWInsider. And there are no dates booked for the forseable future and there is currently no TV deal. They aren't signing any new contracts (and that included Bully Ray, their top agent and lead babyface) until they find a new home. So they are all done for the timebeing. If you haven't got a show booked for 4 months, then its fair to assume that a lot of the wrestlers will be trying to find work between now and then.

Nope they've already got those names I've said tied down, the Bram signing was announced on their YouTube channel, PWInsider and PW are pretty much reliable if that has anything to do with Mike Johnson knowing a lot of people in TNA I don't know, but TNA and Meltzer have a history and he has been inaccurate with TNA before (Del Rio, The Carters wanting to sell). Dixie/Matt Hardy/Kurt Angle (the later two are not under contract) seems too confident for them to be allegedly going under. Plus their producer Jason Hervey tweeted a picture of him outside WGN in Chicago saying big news soon.

I don't think they'll be going anywhere personally.

Meltzer was right about the Carters wanting to sell TNA. How was he wrong about that? Literally everything that came out was reported by him, including the sale breaking down because they wanted Dixie Carter to be kept on in some role. The Hollywood Reporter pretty much confirmed it in an article regarding Toby Keith and Jeff Jarrett. And how was he inacurate about Del Rio? Its common knowledge if TNA have the money they'd want any wrestler that has WWE on their CV. But they cant afford him. As far as TNA information, Meltzer's always spot on. 90% of what comes out is basically from his newsletter worded differently. Dave Lagana is a long time Meltzer stooge, and Mike Tenay is his best mate. Where as Dixie Carter and John Gaburick are proven liars who try and spin everything that they are accused of. The Russo shit exposed them as such.

Also, I never said anything about them going under (although its possible). I was more pointing out that the TV channels they are negotiating with wont be half of what Spike are paying them, because they have no leverage and UTA take 15% of their income. And the fact that they have no TV book until January doesn't look good for them. They are struggling with the Spike money coming in. I cant imagine how bad it'll be on a network that will basically pay them whatever they like because TNA need a home.

I feel if the Carters wanted to sell TNA they'd have sold it by now its been a year since that was reported, TNA were never interested in Del Rio because of the legal situation with WWE and as you've said the cost, his booking fee is one of the most expensive on the market (fair play FPW). I don't TNA or Dixie cares at this point she can afford to keep the company going (Jarrett couldn't hence why she came in), she wants a network that promotes and supports TNA according to Kurt Angle in his latest interview after his contract was up, if thats WGN who knows. Gaburick is a prick, but I respect him for not being held to ransom by AJ Styles in a period of cost cutting if they can't do it, they can't do it. Also letting Jarrett know his position in the company and with Dixie after banging Karen Angle (Jarrett left soon afterwards).

Dixie/a lot of the roster seems way too confident for them to be 'struggling' I think they'll strip back a lot of things and normally I'd agree with you but again, they've been very discreet/quietly confident.

  7. There's probably bigger reasons than just "they left them off" why they aren't on Bound For Glory. Aries doesn't even work there anymore. Angle is long gone as well. I imagine Lashley is under a Spike deal, so sending him over on their dime is probably unrealistic (he was advertised for the event, but something is stopping him from going over). Gail Kim is finished with them. The Wolves are finishing up. Samoa Joe is working the event, but that's his last date. Bully Ray's last date is BFG as well. The likes of Homicide and Brodus Clay arent under contract. The Hardys cant leave the country. Everyone in TNA is finishing up their dates or working on a one off basis. By January there will hardly be anyone under contract. That's because they aren't signing anyone to a new deal until they sign a TV deal.

And these people need to work. Its not like Samoa Joe is going to say "I'll work as a manual keyer for Christmas until you sign a TV deal." They all have families. If TNA are on hiatus for the next 4 months, they may not be there to re-sign in January. And that's not taking into account that if the TV deal is as bad as some suggests, you could see Robbie E main eventing against Rob Conway.

I don't recall Aries saying he's left the company he hasn't been under contract for months, he tweeted that he was proud to be part of the roster and he believes in the company. Bobby Roode/EC3/Bram/Taryn/Storm/Low Ki/Magnus/Spud/Abyss are all under contract, I don't recall Gail Kim saying she's done with them either nor The Wolves, Samoa Joe is advertised for the UK Tour and he and Gail Kim are doing British Bootcamp. The shows have been really good lately, and I'm not going to judge Bound for Glory by its card either, for all you know it could be a good show, Jeff Jarrett was the one behind that deal so that is something you can't blame Dixie for, they're just fulfilling the obligation, its quite clear BFG is not a priority this year and the TV deal/Impact is. I know TNA has been shit previously but to give them their last rites when nobody has a clue whats going on bar the roster, John Gaburick and Dixie is silly. Kurt Angle's latest interview answers why Dixie is being discreet about it.

  8. It is pretty sad, it's their biggest show of the year and they've sub-letted it to another promotion to sort out. Because they've taped all the future episodes of Impact and the title changes. Meltzer was saying Wrestle 1 had a problem with featuring the title holders so a load of talent wouldn't be on the show at all.

I wouldn't say this is all Dixies doing, she's just obliging to a deal already made by this guy, he left 2 weeks after this handshake.

As for TNA they'll be all right, all the signs pointing towards WGN America as Jason Hervey tweeted a photo of himself outside WGN in Chicago, and Dixie hinted at how nice it was in the Windy City, I think they need to accept they're not going to challenge WWE and just need to concentrate on running a business and becoming another place for people to work, any growth has more potential internationally.

  9. We've heard from multiple TNA talents that Bully Ray held a meeting with the roster working tonight's live event in Hagerstown, MD and informed them he wanted to personally tell them goodbye as he didn't expect to be back for the company. In asking around, Ray's contract is expiring and tonight's live event is the last show he is contracted to appear on. Based on what Ray told the locker room, obviously the two sides have not come to terms on a new deal. What is amazing about this is that Ray (along with his partner Devon) is scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory this October. TNA also has one match left in a series of bouts Ray was heavily involved in at the last set of Impact Wrestling tapings, which means that if he departs, they will be left scrambling to end that series without him. Ray had been the central point of the company over the last year, first with a heel run as the central figure behind Aces & Eights, which brought him his first TNA championship and as a babyface pursuing Dixie Carter to put her through a table. That angle was something that Ray pitched to TNA management. Ray has been with TNA since 2005 following runs in the original ECW and WWE. During the TNA run he morphed from one half of Team 3D to a legitimate top singles star.

Wow, strong sign the company is done for me.

  10. Can I just point out that Fludder didnt know who the Person copying the dvds was before he answered the door so its not like he went out to bully a kid.

Also the fact this was filmed probably helped Fludder as that kid could turn around and say that he was beaten up by them, but the film shows he gave the DVDs over willingly.

I personally agree with going round for a word and filming as it could now persuade other potential pirates thats its affecting a real person as he clearly hadnt thought about that before he did it.

The knock on affect that people cant see is that if people arent buying from PCW then Fluidder might stop making DVDs or at ther very least cut back on the production costs and then people (Like myself) will be the first to go, So is it fair that I lose a gig because some kid fancies making a couple of quid?

Whatever you think of Fludder as a person its not right to make profit on something that you have had no hand in creating. Its easy when you can't see how it affects people but this Kid sees that now and has apologised.

So as previously asked were you the guy who filmed it?

Quite simple, you go through the proper legal channels like any other promoter, you don't go after someone breaking the law...by breaking the law and leaving a very sour taste in people's mouths i.e promoters, punters etc.

Its just your typical story of why nobody gives a fuck about these types of British Wrestling companies. Everyone gets exposed as a wanker it seems. And who suffers? The fans of course.

What do you mean when you say 'these types' of British Wrestling companies?

I'm talking about the superfeds, that come along every few years. The FWAs, 1PWs and PCWs. Those that build a blind loyalty because people dont want to lose their regular access to seeing Maria Kanellis' arse and cant accept when they do something horrendous.

Ah ok, because I thought you meant stuff like RevPro or Progress who I like a lot and are pretty much my favourite BritWres promotions. (or Bellatrix for my womens wrestling viewing)

  13. Its just your typical story of why nobody gives a fuck about these types of British Wrestling companies. Everyone gets exposed as a wanker it seems. And who suffers? The fans of course.

What do you mean when you say 'these types' of British Wrestling companies? Just curious. I was planning to attend a PCW show but may decide against it because the owner has put me right off and I don't fancy supporting someone who behaves like in the above video, Progress looks my cup of tea though plus they've put an entire show for free on YouTube and use it as a promotional tool, clever.

  14. 'I ought to fuck you up' doesn't sound good legally, he has given himself (and possibly PCW) a pretty bad image as a result of it, at the same time I understand its your living, but there are ways to go about it without coming off a complete dick. To add PCW using WWE/TNA copyrighted music and other properties too really doesn't help either. By the way I notice PCW also don't like people/video editors using footage in music videos according to their 'Multimedia Director's twitter account ( https://twitter.com/tovus/with_replies ), then you could do what Gabe Sapolsky does and put a Creative Commons video reels together under a Creative Commons license with random footage from events for fans to use to make music videos.
