  1. Was Just reading that The Hardy's Offered To Lose The Tag Team Titles On TV but TNA has refused the offer

I'd of taken them up on the offer, if they are taping tomorrow then just do it then and they are gone

Could of given someone a Rub on the way out and beating the Hardys would of been a big notch on some teams post, sure the Fans would all know they are losing the titles but still would of been better then just going on TV and saying we can't afford the Tag Champs so they have left us and we will now have a tournament to crown new ones

The Hardys had to sign something before they could do that. They didn't want to. Nobody without a contract or an agreement is allowed on TV.

  2. TNA will hold their first TV tapings for Impact Wrestling since the Jeff Jarrett regime began starting tomorrow 3/2 and taping through 3/5 at Universal Studios Orlando. At the rate talent is turning over, it's going to be an entirely new company it seems. If anyone is attending any of the tapings, we are seeking spoiler reports. I would expect at least a few new or returning names at the tapings, but haven't confirmed any.

Cody Rhodes is only slated for the 3/2 taping, where it was announced he would be wrestling Moose.

There are a number of talents who have been approached about locking themselves into new contracts over the last week, so if they don't come to terms, there could be additional departures in the days ahead. The company is seeking to lock in talents that are going to commit to them and if talents, for whatever reason, don't wish to do that, the mentality seems to be that there are lots of others out there who would want the opportunity. Obviously, Jeff Jarrett has a nice rolodex (do those even exist anymore?) of talents he worked with under the Global Force Wrestling banner that he can call upon if needed or other independent talent he's spoken too recently.

Bobby Lashley, Moose, Eli Drake, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards and EC3 were all already locked in to contracts before the ownership change we are told, so they will be part of future creative plans.

There are rumblings that some sort of announcement regarding the UK is coming later this week as soon as today.

  3. The contracts Dixie Carter handed out to these guys were based off pie in the sky, and not predicted revenues which is completely unsustainable. Mike Bennett was on $250,000, if you can find somebody who can fill that role for $100,000 you then have $150,000 to spend on advertising and whatever else. Dixie was giving out great, lucrative contracts for very part time employment - with little or no restrictions. She and the company were going broke in the process, but no one cared about that.

When Anthem bought the company, I think the turnover should be pretty clear to everyone as well as the task they have. It'll definitely separate those who want to help the company and those that don't. Can you blame Matt Hardy for wanting to stay? He had a whole show for him where he could put his baby over in a match!

Matt Hardy was getting more from TNA than TNA was getting out of him.

Anthem and Ed Nordholm are not fucking around.

  4. You need to make an even bigger fuss than you already are.  You've paid for something and not got it.  There's no excuse for it from their side.  You paid by paypal I assume.  Take it to them, send them any correspondence you've had with PCW, tell them you're being ignored.  I know there's supposed to be a limit on time with when you can complain to paypal, but I'd still try it.  They're pretty good at resolving issues, and they'll take it straight to PCW.

    Or even better...your house!

  5. Word on the street is the Hardys wanted some degree of creative control and Double J wasn't playing ball. I also hear they're not taking bookings beyond May?

    April yes.

If there is anything WCW's death taught me, don't let ex-WWE talent have full creative control and run roughshot over the company. They took Dixie to the cleaners there. The Broken stuff was getting stale, only Final Deletion (the first one) popped a 410,000 rating, but went back to regular numbers since even TND didn't really do much.

I hope they bring back Kong for a night to piss off Reby Sky.

  6. Chant Fuck TNA all you want but ROH is being run worse than them now with Delirious especially and Dixie gone from Impact.

Loved the heel turn of Davey Richards, infact I'd put it up there with Michaels leaving Janetty in terms of a career change. Glad Lee and Everett are feuding as well, horrible 1st hour however they made up for it in the 2nd hour. Expedition of Gold sounds nuts so I shall be watching over the next few weeks. These are the last few shows under the old creative team (Feb 23rd is the last), they have since been replaced by Dutch Mantel and Scott D'Amore and of course Gaburick replaced by Double J himself.

  7. Del Rio got fired for failing a steroid test (SHOCKED I TELL YOU!). He tried to get a note for Testosterone Replacement Therapy and he failed because of...elevated testosterone. According to F4W. Dave Meltzer really goes off on him on WOR.

Bryan: We learned today that 39 year old Alberto Del Rio tried to get an exemption for testosterone replacement therapy, he’s on it-

Dave: No, no, no. Bryan, you know the story.

Bryan: That’s what he said. Who am I to say that Alberto Del Rio is telling a lie here?

Dave: Ok. This is one that everyone’s gonna get mad at. Alright, so here’s the deal, but I’m steering you in as much a direction as I can tell you, I know too much that’s not on the record on this stuff, ok? He failed the test for the TE, on the TE ratio, so that’s true. The rest of it, um, I mean he... you know, he failed a steroid test. That’s what happened.

As far as like, everyone’s got an excuse when they fail a steroid test, you know that. I mean it’s always medically prescribed. At least he didn’t say it was a supplement. But, you know, that’s what he said. As far as what it really is, it’s I can’t say any more. But it’s what it he failed for PEDs.

Medically prescribed testosterone replacement therapy is something that people probably see in television commercials, and it's probably something that he figures if he says it, then that's... It's for Mexico. You know I mean, in Mexico, the fact is is that there's stuff like that, it's not that hard to get, it doesn't have the stigma that it would have here. So, he was saying it for the Mexican press. So it was a good, you know, that's what it was...

He failed a test for elevated testosterone in his system, I mean, that's the truth and he doesn't have to worry about it anymore, because he's not going to sign with anybody that's testing, I don't think.

  8. Why TNA haven’t invested in setting up an on demand platform is beyond me. Their have a sizeable tape library, that’s money they’re literally sitting on. People will pay to watch the old PPVs. They keep pushing DVDs of former talent when they pop up in WWE (Sting, AJ Styles), they could advertise them on their “TNA Network” instead.

Nuts that they need cash, and they could easily rake in four figures a month with an on demand video library.

If they're getting kicked out of their offices, its that bad. They've got somthing coming up with the Fight Network in the summer.
