  1. I'm so far out on the loop when it comes to games, I've only now just got a look at Sleeping Dogs, I think I'll be picking that up pretty sharpish. I'll be picking the new Fifa up as well. I got really into the Virtual Pro and Ultimate Team stuff in last years game before a corrupt data file fucked me over. Those 2 games combined should see me good for the next year.

  2. Although fair play for the man who probably only had to do 5 minutes work for a big payday.

It's standard now, where anyone who performs at the Gathering has in their contract, "You're gonna get shit thrown at you. You're paid in full, even if you walk off the stage before you're done."

Again, not condoning moronic Juggalo actions, before anyone says anything.

  3. Was Scott Hall ever pencilled in for a run with the WWF title before he left for WCW with Nash? Just seems odd, the guy had a fantastic look, charisma and could go in the ring. Is there any particular reason why he never got the strap?

  4. I've been with 3 for nearly 10 years. As far as network coverage and 3G goes, they are pretty great. Customer service is pretty crap though, but then again, most providers seem to suffer this problem.

They do gave some great bundles and as far as I'm aware, are the only provider to offer completely unlimited Internet data.

Also, anyone using an iPhone that wants a half decent Sat Nav, look no further than SatNav 2. It's a great little system which I've been using for a few weeks without any problems. The best thing is that it costs

  5. Richie, you won't get any shit being thrown in the ring on the SM shows. All the matches are from KOTDM tournaments from Japan years ago and have the usual placid crowds that you would expect. This is made more entertaining when the matches inevitably spill out of the ring, sending the seemingly shit scared patrons into hysterics.

As usual though, there's plenty of kayfabe busting commentary from ICP. But I really can't see how that matters with these types of matches.

    Just incase you're interested ;)

  6. Richie, I'd also like to say thanks for these reviews you've been throwing up. Can't say I have any inclination to watch any of the shows, but reading the reviews (Albeit through my fingers,) has been fascinating. I can't believe people are doing this shit to themselves.

    Any ideas?

Going back a while, but that wasn't me.

  8. After finishing up Game of Thrones, I want to make a considerable effort to watch more TV shows after being quite shit over the last few years. I've just got onto Netflix and intend to give that a hammering, but is there somewhere I can get a look at what TV shows are due to start on Sky Atlantic over the next few weeks/months?

  9. Game Of Thrones is just simply wonderful. I went through the first season over the weekend and it's just an incredible show on the whole. I thought it would be hard to get into from what I'd heard, but it just grabs you by the nuts and won't let you go.

This is probably the first time since the early seasons of Lost, that I've gotten completely engrossed with a TV show, where any free time I have, I want to spend watching it. I'm hoping to get through season 2 over the next week and then submerge myself into the GOT thread on here once I'm all caught up.

    Fantastic.

  10. Players get concerns from being loaned out for too long now as well mind.

I'm not too fussy what leagues we go with, as long as the players/budgets are similar. The gulf between teams like Barca and Boca Juniors was far too much in the first league.

Hopefully well get some more interest.

  11. Another thing they've ramped up recently are the player concerns. The teams I have now have squad of around 23. Anything above and the players with little game time tend to complain and put in transfer requests after a while.

Pat - I do believe that having such big clubs with huge budgets does create a monopoly effect. I just took over a brand new Division 5 Stockport county with a budget of around

  13. Just throwing this out there...

The original UKFF Soccer Manager league was a bit of a disaster from the start because of they way I set it up. People who picked the big teams off the bat started with much better squads and bank balances, and it was pretty unfair. I was thinking of starting another league just using lower league teams. There'd be no monopolising of the top players and a much more level playing field across the board.

    Would anyone be interested?
