I'm glad Cole's made the 22, he destroyed Payne in the scrum when we played Wasps a few weeks back. Wouldn't be smart to stick him in ahead of Payne straight away given their relative international experience (I find that lots always beats none in that respect), but it's good to have him in the squad. The experience will do him good. Hope he gets 10, 15 minutes at the end. He could develop into a quality player.

Can any one help me identify a wrestler. As a child my mom got me a signed photo when a wrestler stayed in the hotel she worked at by where I live and I wonder if any one can help.
The last name looks like Elliott, the first starts with a B but thats all I can make out. He's doing a Nasty Boy's gimmick. I assume he was a UK chap but have no idea if he was in the Midlands for work or pleasure. This would have been late 90's/very early 2000's say, as I must have had an interest in wrestling.
Â
Many Thanks
Â
Sounds like Brad Elliott.
Â
Yeah, he was doing that gimmick when I saw him on an All-Star show in 2001.
Â
Thanks for that, I've had that years now and couldn't make out who the hell he was. Is he still going at all?
Â
I haven't seen him since then. Someone who's been to more All-Star shows than me could probably tell you better.

Right I'm possibly getting somewhere.
Â
The event was either in or very near st neots in cambs.
Â
I have 2 pics, they not very clear as taken on mobile phone, one of the ring, and other is my girlfriend in the ring with the wrestler so i know the event took place.
Â
If someone can tell me how to add pics from my pc to this then i'll post em.
Â
Any help?
Â
Get an account on something like Photobucket, upload them there, copy the thing it says you need to copy to post each one on a forum (IE the one with at the start) and paste that into a post here.
Â
This sounds incredibly bizarre. I'm sure I'm not the only one with visions in my head of James Wallace and Dirty Oil holding this girl's arms back while Dan Edge falls over attempting to work the body.

Has the UKFF been advertised somewhere recently? There appears to be an influx of new members, and some truely awful posters amongst them.
Â
yes i'm new, i only logged on here to try and trace an event held on 16 th jan. I'm new to the scene, so might ask some stupid questions, but any help is appreciated.
Â
Where was the show? The town and venue would help a lot more than the colour of the ring.

One I forgot: Jericho getting R-Truth in a chinlock on Smackdown and yelling "ASK HIM REF! ASK HIM WHAT'S UP!"
-
EDIT: Never mind, that belongs in funniest moment.

Georges St Pierre. BJ Penn is a class apart from everyone in his division and GSP totally outclassed him. That's enough to take my vote.

Couture vs Nogueira - UFC 102
Brown vs Faber - WEC 41
Â
I would nominate one of the Featherweight matches from Dream 9, but I can't remember which was the one I loved, so it's obviously not distinctive enough to warrant nomination.

Bison Smith's 2 minutes of awesome at the Tokyo Misawa tribute show, where he effortlessly press-slammed Shuhei Taniguchi onto the ramp, got out and powerbombed him back in, hit his massive over-the-top-rope shoulder block, then threw him out of the ring and hit a huge dive. Ridiculous.
Â
R-Truth in that goofy segment at Survivor Series - just after Christian jumped on the rest of the team and yelled "WHAT'S UP?!", Truth looks at him and goes "Man where you comin' fom like that?". Made me chucke quite a bit.

CM Punk by a country mile or two.
Chris Jericho a country mile or two behind Punk and about three country miles ahead of everyone else.

Jeff Hardy
Go Shiosaki

Orton not becoming the fucking megastar he looked destined to be. Everything post-Rumble was pretty shit. The Mania match was just a kick in the teeth when I was already jaded.
-
Triple X Wrestling. You'll be hard-pushed to find a promotion that has more loyalty from its core audience. The audiences in general are growing every time, too. Let's hope it continues.

Mitsuharu Misawa vs Vader - NOAH, 23/12/2000

The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin, WrestleMania XVII
Â
Eddie Guerrero vs Brock Lesnar, No Way Out 2004
Â
John Cena vs Umaga, Royal Rumble 2007
Â
Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker, Wrestlemania XXV
Â
I'm sure there are loads that I've missed but those spring to mind straight away.
-
Orton punts Vince - felt like the making of a new megastar at the time. Shame they cocked it up. And by that I mean "shame Triple H is a prize douchebag".
Â
Jericho's impossible mask grab - jaw on floor for a second. Stunning timing. Great, great spot.
Â
Susumu Yokosuka walking forwards, no-selling a barrage of elbows from Shingo at Dragon Gate UK Invasion, and the ensuing crowd reaction almost bringing the building down. The closing moments of this match were just phenomenal.
-
That episode of Impact with the Main Event Mafia in charge, specifically Scott Steiner not knowing anyone's names and JUST NOT CARING. I have no doubt they told him to do it and I have no doubt he'd have done it anyway.

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker, Wrestlemania XXV
Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio, WWE The Bash
John Cena vs Randy Orton, I Quit, WWE Championship, Breaking Point
Shingo vs Susumu Yokosuka, Dragon Gate Invasion UK

Smackdown, for its hot streak earlier in the year.
Superstars, for simplicity and effectiveness.
-
I'm sure there were others that made me laugh more, but I can't bring them to mind and this one just has to be mentioned.
Â
-
Chris Jericho - at his absolute worst, he was a little dull. At his absolute best, has had some utterly brilliant matches. His "average" is another man's "great".
Â
Bryan Danielson - has brought the big-fight atmosphere and in-ring excellence like nobody else on the indies. Fully deserving of his call-up to the big leagues.
Â
Eddie Guerrero - brought the emotion like nobody else. Bad Eddie Guerrero matches from this decade are difficult to find.
-
Punk/Hardy
Mysterio/Jericho
LDRS/Thrillers
Â
All of the above were nothing short of captivating. The last one even convinced me to part with money I otherwise might not have spent.

Yeah, even as a Tigers fan I thought the ban was pretty harsh. He had to have noticed that someone didn't come off, but it's always going to be difficult to know what to do about it on the spur of the moment, and it's more down to the officials and the coaches to take care of it, really. Fines are much more appropriate than bans in such a situation.
Â
Anyway, on to Saturday - it's gonna be a tense one all round for me. Tigers really need a win against Northampton to get through in the LV Cup (which we're fully capable of but I'm always nervous when it comes down to the wire like this), and looking at the teams (and knowing from painful experience the quality and form of the Ospreys players, in particular) it's gonna be a tough day out for England. Ah, it wouldn't be worth watching if it didn't cause one to be bricking one's self once in a while.
