It's a tough one. I have LGBTQ friends who feel very much like anyone who votes Trump, be it friend or family, is done to them. And I don't blame them. In 2016 it was much easier to go "what the fuck" but understand why someone might have voted for Trump - Clinton hate, hope he won't be "that bad", non-politician blah blah. But in 2020? Nah, you know what he is, you've seen his conduct for the last 4 years, you've seen the rhetoric. So if you voted Trump this time around you ARE totally complicit and ok with his actions, and even if his presidency has made your life better in some aspects (for me it has been financially), then you're really just being a selfish cunt.

There's a Tweet I've seen a few times about the "we can disagree politically but still be friends thing," about how, yeah, you can, but over pizza toppings and not racism or whether it's good to stick children in cages.

A centrist dad from my social circle blocked me on Twitter on election day in December, after I left a sassy comment under Emma Kennedy's cheery polling station selfie with Michael Gove. He immediately subtweeted some shit about how we're as bad as our enemies if we can't be friends with them and sit down for a pint together. The awkwardness when he found himself sat across a table with me a few months later was quite magnificent. Fuck the Tories, and fuck you if you'd give them the time of day.

Trump is going to speak at 6.30pm ET

I'm still fucked after sitting up all Tuesday night and dying for bed, but I've a feeling this might be his greatest one yet, perhaps topping MIDTERM MAYHEM. Not gonna miss this one.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure where I heard/read it. I've seen somewhere though that it was expected that Kamala Harris would take over from him at some point in the term should he win.

It was one of Trump's routines in his speeches the last couple of weeks.

There's a superb interview with Rebecca More here:-

    https://i-d.vice.com/en_uk/article/88a935/cock-destroyer-rebecca-more-is-blazing-a-trail-for-pornstars-in-pop-culture

They're absolutely great, her and Sophie Anderson. They've taken the 90s / early 2000s British porn style of loads of humour and not caring how 'attractive' everything looks, dragged it into the 2020s and largely rejected the Americanisation that this country's porn has undergone that has largely ruined it. They're both hilarious but also really well spoken about what they're doing.

Genuinely the best sketch comedy in the world right now is being put out by the Cock Destroyers.

  4. DAVID ICKE HAS FALLEN. REPEAT, DAVID ICKE HAS FALLEN.

Big David's been banned from Twitter for making false claims about Covid. Same thing happened with Facebook back in March.

Facebook has taken down the official page of conspiracy theorist David Icke for publishing "health misinformation that could cause physical harm".

Mr Icke has made several false claims about coronavirus, such as suggesting 5G mobile phone networks are linked to the spread of the virus.

In one video, he suggested a Jewish group was behind the virus.

Following the ban, his Twitter account posted: "Fascist Facebook deletes David Icke - the elite are TERRIFIED."

Good luck with the grift now you've been completely no-platformed. Look what happened to Milo.

    Ruddy elites! 😠

  5. If anyone wants to GET HYPE, here's a really long piece in the New Yorker about the chances of him going to jail if he loses. This is the worst timeline, so that won't happen, but for now we have that horrible hope, so it's a nice thought. Some great stuff in there about how terrified he is of losing, like this bit from his niece.

She described the “narcissistic injury” that Trump will suffer if he is rejected at the polls. Within the Trump family, she said, “losing was a death sentence—literally and figuratively.” Her father, Fred Trump, Jr., the President’s older brother, “was essentially destroyed” by her grandfather’s judgment that Fred was not “a winner.” (Fred died in 1981, of complications from alcoholism.)

    Millard's curse strikes again.

I never mentioned this at the time, because it would've been tasteless, but the week I started writing my lightly-fictionalised Little and Large novella, Eddie went of Covid :(

I'm incredibly sad about Bobby. He was still doing great comedy acting work, right until the end. In going through their old shows, the one thing that really stands out is how much fun the pair were having. I know it soured as time went on, but those early years, it's just a couple of mates who can barely meet each other's eye without cracking up.

Fucking hell, look at that thing. Does it even work? Looks like it has a gap where you could crawl in and actually use it as a shelter.

I think it was specifically installed to drive away a homeless couple who'd been sleeping there in the previous couple of months. They didn't return to that spot, so I guess the Tories won 🤷‍♂️.

See it a lot with hostile architecture - governments paying to have ugly shit installed to stop the homeless sleeping there. But put that money into homeless programs? Nah.

We've got a highstreet filled with empty shops, even before the pandemic, and a fair few homeless about. We've also got these.

Wouldn't want someone sheltering from the elements and dirtying up [checks notes] the front of an abandoned offie. One of the safest Tory seats in the country. We've never had a non-Tory MP, as far as records go back.

Is their an order to watch the Blumhouse Anthology in on Prime ?

No, but buyer beware, just like Hulu's unbelievably disappointing Monsterland series, despite them being released on Halloween, they're not horror, more thrillery. But I have seen 2 of the 4 Blumhouses so far, and one of them (The Lie) was pretty good.
