  1. in my experience, the THQ/AKI games gave you the most value for money when it comes to insane amounts of fun.

WM2000 allowed me to have my partner set an opponent in the electric chair position, on the outside of the ring. I would then hit a over-the-ringpost Sasuke Special to the outside knocking the opponent off the shoulders, Doomsday style. No coincidence or shitty mapping. The camera actually zooms in for the move and the bump and treats it like a proper doubleteam move. Gets me all emotional just thinking about it.

Did any of you enjoy Super Wrestlermaia on the SNES back in the day? Wacky as it may have been, I rented the shit out of that game.

They recalled No Mercy and re-issued the cartridge with the bug fixed. I remember buying it on the release day Friday, returning to HMV on the Monday and then had to wait for the new release a few weeks later.

Oh goddamnit! Really wish I knew this back then. I have literally gotten thousands of hours of fun out of WM 2000 and was looking forward to actually put dudes through tables, instead of stabbing them with the jagged edge of a broken one.

That beign said, do NOT travel back in time to inform 16 year old me of the situation. It would have killing Hitler-esque ramifications.

  3. Developing a well looking video game is expensive. Beyond the cover-art and promotion, they clearly haven't cared if their games are actually up to snuff/innovative since Wrestlemania 2000 for N64.

..Yes, No Mercy was supposed to be the greatest game ever, but the european version deletes all of your progress and CAW's periodically. Making it a piece of shit.

I post on here because I actually like wrestling and mma. I have had to write that big long post because a couple of people on here have decided that it's acceptable to say the things that have been said......someone just said above that it's bullying, it's actually nothing more than bullying however I reply to the attempts at bullying because why should I allow it and not stick up because it's a forum and it should just be accepted

Dude, I know you mean well. I'm sure most people on here know you mean well. This just isn't the place for you. You've told us about your struggles with mental health. While it's admirable to be so open about it, doing so on this forum is NOT condusive to your mental health. You're old enough to know better than this, so it's time to stop fucking around on the internet.

Focus on yourself and getting your mind right. Work toward living a fulfilling life. Give yourself the best possible chance to achieve this.

If you want to share your progress and the things you love, and have some interaction about, there are real life groups for that. They can be a great help, so if you'd like that, visit your local social services office. City hall has all the info you'll need to get started.

If you want to share your feelings online, write a blog. Just write and write and write. Make sure you don't read or focus on any comments you get. Don't respond to them. This is for you, your life and your happiness so, show some discipline and self worth.

  5. Swinger was one of my favorite heel jobbers in WCW. Block the sunset flip+gyrate hips+ get rolled up anyway+repeat 💗.

Diamond and swinger where excellent in ECW...he went from swinging his hips to wanting to swing with Simon's wife, and creeping him out by telling him so.

In 2019....pfffffffIdon't give a fuck. I'm old. If he can still work and hasn't cut his hair, I'm watching that shit.

  6. Also, on the subject of OWE: I was brought up not to call people 'Oriental'. When I first heard of OWE, I thought they HAD to be fucking with the workers. Then they showed up at AEW with CIMA and crew calling themselves 'Oriental'. Did their name hit any of you as racist?

Edit: Just read up on it a bit. I have found that it is not officially considered racist in the British language. The word has been removed from American federal law, but that wasn't very long ago (2016).

My question still stands, though, as I'd like to know your thoughts.

LDN and Sanjay Bagga used to do this a lot locally to me. They would also phone up pretending to be the promoter and cancel shows as well. So this comes as no surprise

Wow, that is some terrible shit to pull.

  8. Larry Sweeny.

Went from being one of the freshest things in the business to hanging lifeless from a ringpost as the trainees start showing up.

I get the feeling he was legit homeless when he was running his "wrestling show" in a parking lot close to that year's wrestlemania. Was some depressing shit.

I'm interested to see how this works. By most accounts, Triple H and his team are hidden away on the Network, with Vince being too busy fighting his beard to care. You fancy that changing now it's on proper telly and they're getting paid for it. As discussed, I imagine the extra hour and pressure from Vince could sink what a lot on here enjoy about the show.

You grossly underestimate Vince McMahon's level of skill and professionalism.
