  1. I have rather a lot of these small claims to fame, but will just stick to this one for now.

I once attended a funeral that also had Rob Brookside in attendance (& the wake). Perhaps more amazing was that the death was not one of his colleagues & Brookside was the only wrestler there. As previously mentioned in other comments, i am happy to confirm that having met Rob on many occasions, that he has always been a pleasure to be around.

You recently started a thread called 'UKFF Love', and proceeded to slate the forum in your opening line of the first post. You act like a dickhead. A lot.

You forgot to mention that in my next line, i put was...

"there are a LOT of good people around here. People who through their love of wrestling genuinely care about folk that they may have never met, but are happy to give out good advice & kind words."

I still believe this to be true. You only have to read the comments about people suffering for various reasons during Isolation & the support & kind words typed in the Covid-19 Megathread by many people on here, to know that the comment you left out was also correct.

Last warning about being passive aggressive. If you want to be a dickhead just be one.

i honestly think you have got me wrong.

Like that other time when someone asked about that Jimmy Corkhill image. You accused me of being passive aggressive, but all i did was answer the question?

Now you are suggesting i act like a dickhead, which i assume could get me banned? & in the same breath giving me a final warning for not being the type of dickhead you believe me to be?

My apology was genuine. Do i also apologise to you or be rude to you? Can you accept that the typed word can be misinterpreted, be it sarcasm or any other form of expression more easily judged face to face? If you read the original posts about my review you will see Michael-315 mention "kidding" & King Pitcos mention "bumrape" so i just went along with what i thought was a bit of laddish banter. I can't really say any more than i already have & feel that nothing i say in addition will change your preconception of me.

It's not about apologies. It's about understanding - worryingly, you seem to think it would be a good ol' gag if only the story was better known.

But sure, in the same spirit as your apology, I "accept".

But i did understand & tried to explain. Obviously the explanation was not good enough for you.

I am glad you accepted the apology though, thank you.

What the actual fuck are you on about? This isn't squeamishness because people haven't heard the story - it's because you've described someone drugging and anally raping their wife as 'bumraping gossip' and 'credited with destroying their rusty sheriff's badge'. It doesn't matter if the story is known or not as to whether dark humour is acceptable. Talking about rape like that makes you sound like a prick.

& that is why i apologised. I guess you have chose to not accept my apology then?

Considering the subject that you're talking about, you're coming across as even more of a prick than usual.

    I apologise.

Perhaps i should have been more serious in my approach. The book was crazy & i suppose i gave it a mini-revue no realising that not many people have actually read the book.

It's a bit like that Netflix hit "Tiger King" when a lot of people were laughing at dark subjects like murder/animal cruelty/assassination plots etc. & because it was so popular people could either relate to the questionable humour or not?

Diana Hart did not really portrait herself well or Ellie Hart, which is why i probably was not quite as serious as i should have been on the subject. So again "Sorry".

I'm kidding but genuinely wanna know is iit actually true? Was Bulldog that much of a prick? Never heard of this before.

The stories of him bumraping her have been out there since the book first came out, possibly way before that from interviews. Nobody on here can say with any certainty, but considering he spent the 70s and 80s with Dynamite Kid and the 90s smoking crack with Jim Neidhart, Davey Boy was probably not a model citizen behind closed doors.

Obviously you only have one side of the argument & Diana Hart has backed down from some of the allegations since the book was released.

I feel the book failed on two points really, she did not get all her wrestling facts correct & quoted conversations that she was not privy to. She also made potentially slanderous remarks towards people with money, which was never going to end well.

On the bumraping gossip. Jim Neidhart is credited with destroying Ellie Hart's rusty sheriff's badge with sustained drug rape over the course of their volatile marriage.

If you believe the book, you have to say The Bulldog was a prick. Towards the end of his life the behaviour got a lot worse, but as already been mentioned above, given the company he kept, the industry he worked in & the drugs, surely it comes as no surprise.

According to Diana "Davey-Boy demanded sex four to ten times a day"!!!!! Which sounds like one hell of a shift to me!

The ending of the book is really really sad. You have the tragic death of Owen Hart mixed up with a very bitter Bret Hart & an extremely dysfunctional family attacking each other & falling apart at the seams.

I don't know if you own this physically, but the OSW guys were recently looking for a copy to buy/borrow if you're done with it.

Yeah i got it for £43 off ebay.

I have a huge collection of wrestling books & consider this book to be a "collectors item", so would not really be happy lending it out to someone i do not know.

There is one on Amazon for about £70 & as crazy as it sounds, i have paid upwards of this for very rare books.

  9. I have just read "Under the Mat, Inside Wrestling's Greatest Family" The controversial book by Diana Hart that was pulled from bookstores across Canada after a successful lawsuit by Owen Hart's widow, Martha.

This is literally word for word the very first paragraph of the first chapter...

"I'm so dumb i didn't even know it was abuse. There i was in Florida, surrounded by crackhead wrestlers with my husband, Davey Smith aka The British Bulldog, doping my juice every night so he could rape me, while i was unconscious. I mean i still have hemorrhoid's to this day due to the sickening things he was doing to me."

anyone able to track down a place selling David Schultz book? its unavailable on amazon and used copies are going for over 20 notes. Kindle edition would have been nice.

It is available from Amazon UK paperback for £19 :)

Havoc and Janela as they are both utter shit and should never have been signed in the first place

    I agree about Havoc.

But have a soft spot for Janela. Perhaps i should post my love for "The Bad Boy" in the "Unpopular Opinions" thread?

He does have charisma & a decent promo. I only see a few wrestlers in AEW that are better in those departments.

    Can someone please tell me:

    1. Who is this?

    2. Why is this gif used all the time?

I think it's used when someone unpopular (like me), posts an unpopular opinion like this for example:
1, The Conservative party is ace.

You should then find this comment will be ignored, followed by the Jimmy Corkhill (the bloke you are asking about, who used to be in Brookside) gif, which will get a good few "likes" & then we all just carry on because there is more important things to get upset about at the moment.

So just check the next couple of posts underneath this unpopular post & let's see if i am wrong? ;)

Nah, everyone's chances of catching it are identical. Viruses don't send out health questionnaires before doing a spot of infecting.

Piers Morgan said that the virus "does not have a political agenda, nor does it discriminate", but surely with the pandemic targeting the over 70's most at risk, the virus is leaning towards the left & is a "Pro-Remain Virus" that would love to stay in Europe?

Actually there is a dreadful third outcome. They actually resume and we get relegated playing in an empty stadium. Which was going to happen anyway.

Hull City were definitely getting relegated.

Hopefully the current situation will devalue the club to the point that it is affordable to buy & The Allam's sod off with significantly less money than they would have got before the pandemic.
I don't suppose too many Tigers fans would shed a tear if Leeds were denied, either? :D

Pornhub annoys me. I just want a bit of grot to wank over but it's just full of people who have set up their own channels etc.

Xhamster has always been my favourite.

    Fair enough.

I like X Videos normally, but did indulge in the 10 day offer because of the extra quality & length of the footage :)

Someone on their second marriage can be a divorced dad, or a bicurious dad, or a Polish dad.

    & that's why i asked?

On a similar note, i am happy to inform you that i am an appellation of deity, who has the authority, control & power over others, acting like a master, a chief, or a ruler ;)

Wifey and I got our test results back today. Thankfully all clear.

Not that it's important, but does having a "wifey" not kill your gimmick of being a Divorced Dad? 🤔

Regal seems well respected but he's been given a fair few chances over the years. I think he's admitted in the past that he's been very lucky through his difficult times.

It's often mentioned he's friends with HHH? Are they close?

Yes he's mates with Triple H & plays the corporate game well. He has also done a cracking job of developing talent as well.

But Regal is great example of a wrestler who overcame the odds, when a lot of his colleagues were dropping like flies. It really does "babyface" the WWE when it comes to accusations of not monitoring their wrestlers who were ticking time bombs (not in recent times, but when they first moved Regal into the office) & could have used him in court, as a good example of "nothing being their fault" if the shit hit the fan & someone tried to close the WWE down because of drug related issues.

So that is the main reason i think Regal has survived? It will be interesting if who would be let go, if NXTUK goes pop? Because Regal & all of his mates are heavily involved in that project.
