  1. If he really wanted out I could see him going, doing all of the events on his bucket list (hair vs hair in mexico, Okada etc etc) and eventually coming back to WWE as a producer at a later date. I know Vince can sometimes be petty but I can't see him falling out with lovable Daniel Bryan, whose given so much for that company.

  2. I’d just like to remind everyone that NXTs Aliyah is still signed despite being stuck in developmental for close to the past decade and having not improved one iota in that time 🤷‍♂️

How exactly do WWE decide who stays and who goes? It can’t be purely about talent...

EDIT: It’s actually closer to five years but fuck me if the last five haven’t felt like 10.

I am honestly baffled at the number of people who rate Eddie Kingston highly.

He looks a bag of shit, I think his promos are hugely overrated and I've never once seen him in a match and it increased my interest.

Whilst I think Kingston is fantastic, I do agree that he looks like shit as far as his physique goes. I'm not saying he needs to get shredded, or even lose the belly but a little bit of muscle could go a long way for him.

  4. It might have been that I'd had one too many G&Ts last night but I had tears in my eyes as Kingston was heading to the ring for what should have been the perfect finish to a great match and solid show overall... and then those fireworks went off and I was left as deflated as I've ever been watching wrestling, including every single TNA PPV up until 2012. Such a shame. There's a small part of me that wishes the entire match was bad because it being as great as it was, it left even more of a bad taste in my mouth when the eventual let down happened. Gutted for everybody involved tbh.

With that said, I mostly enjoyed the show up until that point and, unlike some, don't see this as the death knell for AEW nor do I see my fandom waning as long as they keep up the quality of shows they've put on up until now.

On the bright side, they can't possible put on a worse ending to a show in the future, can they??

Yeah this is what I don't get about the women who are throwing a strop about it. They do realise that it's a fake company and people are controlling who's the champion etc anyway. So they're ALWAYS being put down if they're looking at it like that.

Just from a kayfabe point of view, some wrestlers are booked as top stars and have more value than those who are booked as jobbers. Isn't that just the reality of wrestling?

I just see a fun meme being taken way too seriously here. Imagine getting upset about someone stating that Roman Reigns is kayfabe more valuable than... well, I don't watch WWE these days so just insert any old low card talent here I guess.

This is how to reply to a meme by staying in character and garnering heat. What are all the compaints about anyway? Are they angry that the tweet implies some of the women are considered better than others? Isn't that the whole point of competition, to try and prove you're the best over all others? Maybe I'm missing something.

  7. Yeah, I feel like many names being mentioned here are simply cases of having suffered through poor booking, who were then later booked well.

Anyway, I can't believe we've come this far without a mention of Britt Baker. Whilst the catalyst for her change was booking related (heel turn), as a performer she's come on leaps and bounds. From not being able to knock out a whole sentance on commentary, to become one of AEWs most confident, charismatic and entertaining acts in the company. A proper good turn around.
