I don't have much to say except I absolutely LOVED Christian vs Omega. They held enough back that I'm still excited at the prospect of another match, even if it doesn't quite take the sting away from missing out on a Hangman title win (though I'm remaining optimistic!).

I think the point is that it's both a reference and also makes sense in context. Geeks like us will get the reference but everyone else just takes it at face value. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about tbh.

It seems Priscilla Kelly has defended Darby in DMs, however it isn’t entirely clear as the DMs seem to be from a time before Darby was publicly named. It’s all a tad confusing tbh.

Two years ago I didn’t  know who Darby Allin even was and now I’m practically salivating at the thought of him being the opponent in CM Punk’s return match.

You’re forgetting arguably his biggest up side. He had a highly marketable, kid friendly alter ego!

Sure, it was never really made clear as to WHY he’d occasionally turn up dressed for Halloween but that doesn’t really matter when you’ve got kids all over the world buying the figures and turning up to live shows dressed as their superhero (anti-hero?)-esque idol.

I’m not ashamed to say I had him pegged as the next Rey Mysterio. Never as THE main eventer but certainly an over, crowd favourite top-guy.

Was I right? Maybe not but that doesn’t mean WWE couldn’t have done a million times better with the bloke. Though I suppose he’s not the only one, so what’s new? 🤷‍♂️

Whatever her injury, I hope she's able to make a full recovery. It would be an absolute shame if her best days are now behind her due to a training injury.

I remember being absolutely desperate for Kenny to win his first IWGP title match against Okada at the Dome that year but in retrospect it wasn't the time and Omega's big win near 18 months later was made all the better for it.

I'd love for Hangman to take the title at All Out but I wouldn't be entirely against a longer chase if they're somehow able to recreate the magic of the Okada/Omega series.

The racism is disgusting enough by itself but considering they’ve only just started getting along with NJPW and it’s actually astounding that this incident even happened. What an absolute fucking moron.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Britt loses to Shida at the PPV, only to see Thunder Rosa take the title soon after. This vindicates Rosa's victory in the unsanctioned match and gives Britt someone to chase with some real emotional connection. I could be wrong but long term story telling, innit?

Why? Dynamite = TNT, get it? It works regardless of which channel they're on.

He's been very vocal about ticking some things off his bucket list before he retires, such as wrestling a big match in the Tokyo Dome and having a Hair vs Mask match in a major Mexican promotion. Let's be honest, he's never getting the oppurtunity to do those things if he stays with WWE. Now all he has to do is decide whether or not he favours his ambitions over money.

Even if he does leave, I doubt WWE wouldn't take him back as an agent or similar in a few years time.
