I swear to god I counted 24 run ins during the main event.

 

The upsides for me were Lashley as a heel and Maria's arse.

That Reigns segment was tremendous.

 

Some very odd things on the show, the Trips/Ziggler match was so weird, started off ok but it seemed like they had no plan, like at all, I hate Wrestling that is clearly choreographed move for move in the back but you gotta have SOMETHING, they just hit a move, then lay next to each other in deep, audible conversation about the next few moves, then rinse and repeat, if you aint gonna plan things out, just be fucking good, be better, it's one of many irritating little things that remove me from the moment and take me out of the show. At one point I thought they were going to fetch a chair each and sit in the middle of the ring discussing it.

 

The last segment was painful to watch in my opinion, I'm not getting anything from this Shane stuff, I really wish I was I'm trying to, but it's all so bad. His mic work is atrocious, his offence is a shambles, did you see Vince roll out of the ring, jesus lord don't this man have to perform anything remotely physical anymore, he looked like he was made of wood.

 

EDIT: Knew there was something else weird, this New Day/LON stuff is beyond me, what are they doing here, does anybody have an answer, because the New Day have definitely not turned, and are definitely not behaving like a babyface team, they are just Babyface by process of elimination as LON are just liked LESS. There was some good action in that match and due to WWE's absolutely absurd booking you could hear a mouse sneeze because the crowd don't know what the hell to do. Just define your acts for Christ sake, it's not hard.

 

EDIT NO. 2: Stephanie Fucking McMahon. Talk about timing, what with the Room 101 thread, What actually is her obsession with slapping folk about, and hard aswel, she doesn't pull the slap at all, it's full bore, then Trips smashes through Ziggler, who is last seen crawling to the back as Reigns comes out, she literally never gets comeuppance. God I hate her, fucking unbearable twat, please Liam, I beg of you, stick this fuckwit in Room 101.

I touched on this match in the TNA thread, trailer for the 1hr 45 minute match between Trevor Lee and Roy Wilkins, don't know much about the promotion but I think I might set some time aside to watch this.

Why after seeing his best pal get smashed all over the gaff, then himself get volleyed about last week was Ambrose content to DDT Hunter then stroke the belt, bloke should have gone mental and destroyed some furniture all with a crazed look on his face. I mean, he's crazy after all isn't he, maybe just not in the revenge department.

 

Fucking hell AJ was good, that springboard inverted DDT came off a treat tonight, best I have seen it in forever, absolute credit to Kofi, the guy is so good in the ring, his timing is impeccable.

Something very very flat about ROH for me at the minute, I have always held the promotion in high regard and looked forward to the shows but I am just not really intrigued by any of the main storylines. I like Lethal, but I want to see him involved in something better, there is a lot of hype around O'Reilly but I can't quite get into him, the 3 way was good but just kind of that, good, nothing special. The other thing that would worry me if I were involved with ROH is how reliant they are on New Japan, take away the NJPW guys from that show and what star power have you got left, not a lot.

 

Apparently at the tapings after the 14th Anniversary show there was some unrest among talent who are not happy with the way delirious is booking, Christopher Daniels has taken more of a role backstage and is effectively assistant booker, which by all accounts has calmed things down with him being so well respected in the back.

I couldn't put my finger on it but yeah, very Bane 'ish'. Either that or Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.

I actually can't believe we are in a situation like this, I wonder if Vince when he is alone just takes a second to wonder "how did it come to this". Reigns is basically only welcome now in Alabama and Arkansas.

 

I really like him aswel, I bought the "I CAN I WILL" t-shirt before Mania last year and went to Chester Zoo in it as I was certain he'd leave the man, cunt lost.

Looks like Reigns has been pulled from Raw next week in Chicago, He was advertised but they have removed him.

I like this Galloway/Bennett stuff, feels fresh to me, I like Galloway, he's a massive cheese ball but I kind of like it.

 

I continue to enjoy the EC3/Hardy/Spud feud, I think TNA gets a bad rap at times, some of the stuff is absolute shit, when they are bad they are very very bad, I am sick to death of Abyss hardcore matches and the X-Division is just dead as fuck, but I think they should be commended for putting together logical shit, Spud fucking over EC3 is logical, it's real life, the little guy was pissed on, and waited for the opportune time to get his payback.

 

I think a re-branding would be fantastic, what damage can it actually do, just announce it, new logo, the lot, go for it. 2 things I'd love to see, change the name, something fresh, they have nothing to lose, and 2. Just sort the fucking X-Division out, because Tigre Uno needs to go away, Trevor Lee is bloody good, he had a 1hr 45 minute match at an indie show last week that is supposedly unbelievable, let him go out there and have a longer match than 6 minutes. They need 3 or 4 credible threats to him, and some kind of character development, not just spotty wanky stuff. My 2 cents worth.

I'm going to be massively in the minority here but I don't see Ambrose as a viable threat to the likes of Lesnar, Triple H etc and therefore can't see him as 'The Guy'

 

His moveset and general attacks just looks incredibly weak.  Like the recent flurry punches on Lesnar.  He looks scrappy generally and the bounce from the middle rope never looks to have enough momentum to lead into the clothesline that comes off it.

 

He's fantastic on the mic but despite his popularity with the older fans I don't see the kids walking round in his merch in the way they do Cena or Roman.

I can't get into him at all, I just can't. Said it before he needs to hit the gym, somebody put a picture up on here of him in The Shield vs now, he looks like he's had a long illness or something. None of his moves have any impact. I don't dislike the bloke, I'm just sort of indifferent. He gets a decent response though so fair play to him.

I think it would be were WWE a consistent narrative, but it's not how they operate, the inmates run the asylum, fucking Chris Jericho was making matches the other week.

Funniest audible I can recall is Luger vs Brody in a cage from the late 80's, Brody just decided I think through a combination of a booking dispute and the fact he thought Lex was a bit shite to just no sell. Luger was smacking him and Brody just weren't having it so the call was made for Luger to just leave the cage. It's on Youtube.

Well that was a poor show, American Alpha looked good as always, but the rest was to be quite honest, shite.
