  1. Yeah I had a quick look on YouTube there. Don't know how I missed it at the time. One of the best things I've watched is Lesnar training for a UFC fight and the sheer size and strength and stamina of him is quite stunning. I'm assuming the drop in size will be health related? No less powerful but not carrying about as much weight must be good for him.

  2. Not the best fight ever but it's been one of the best heavyweight fights of recent times and Fury certainly has earned my respect for winning. I genuinely thought he would be spark out inside 30 seconds. Haye vs Fury would definitely draw, but it is not a fight I'd want to see. Too many has beens in the heavyweight division for me. However I think a rematch with Wlad could be dangerous for Fury, I'm not sure he could pull it off twice.

Would be surprised if Wlad wanted the re-match, I thought he was done with boxing after that fight anyway?

  3. Any sort of how to fix WWE or Fantasy booking discussion is utterly fucking pointless right now. That's not to belittle anyone's posts or ideas either. The company are just so set in their ways that it really isn't worth our time coming up with stuff. It really is like it or lump it.

I can't remember the last really good promo. They don't do skits anymore. Character development is a dirty concept. Stories are one dimensional. Twists and turns are too much effort.

The only reason to watch is the talent in the ring. The only reason to spend time debating the company strategy is you enjoy slamming your head into brick walls!

Brilliantly put, sums up the product perfectly. I just can't understand how it has got to this stage. It is so frustrating to watch so much talent being ruined by the mediocre production/writing.

Years ago we wanted longer title reigns. Eventually we got them, but at the expense of character/story development. We longed for the secondary title to mean something and they eventually gave it to the best in the business, who had really good matches with it at the expense of character/storyline development. We've yearned for more long term booking/planning which they've attempted but at the expense of any sort of development if the product. They have a long term plan but put no effort into explaining how they arrive at the end point. No interest in getting people to buy into it.

It's ludicrous. There must be someone in the company that could book a character from A to B. Surely?

  4. I think one of the reasons that the hype around Kennedy persisted was the fact that he carried himself differently. He cut about like he was the next big thing and owing in part to the dross on the roster at that time he got over with it. His in ring work was terrible though. He potatoed both Batista and Taker which resulted in some pretty nasty payback involving his head and the ring steps.

  5. The prospect of santino winning in the chamber had me yelling at the television. No interest in him but the thought of the unthinkable happening had me enthralled.

The dean ambrose as interim champ appealed to me as well, again just because it would have gone against the trend of long, tedius reigns we get nowadays.

  6. The main test will come when the WWE split them up as they seem to do with every successful team. Mixed results for the Wyatts/Shield when that happened. Would be nice to see one of them get a singles title and have the others with the tag straps back them up. Could inject a bit of life into the secondary belt divisions with them staying together rather than turning.

Highly entertaining which surprised me because Kofi has been a fast forward cue when watching in the past.

  7. For an awful moment I thought Sheamus was getting the belt but it looks like they are going for a clusterf*ck of a title match at Summerslam if Cena doesn't make it. Fully expect him to but they were obviously covering all the bases.

Question is, what would the plan be if sheamus does win/steal the title?

  8. Didn't think Raw was as good this week although Paige\Banks was one of the best women's matches in quite a while. Getting tired of the non finishes every week. Main event was OK, not much discussion save for what, if anything, it means for the WWE title match at SS.

That knee was brutal. If it had been Orton I'd imagine Rollins would be in the doghouse.
