Hahaha! Yeah. I'm leaving never means leaving.
-
Right lads, spade a spade here, I'd have to be fucking towed out of Sasha Banks.
Â
-
I always thought it was the Fisherman's duplex? Used to hook the leg a la Mr Perfect on occasion.
-
It's at the stage (as with WWE also) that there's no point in trying to figure out why anything because they probably don't know themselves.
-

Â
god knows with The Rock if he is wrestling
I'm going to keep saying it.... he's not.
Agreed. Not a chance of it.
-
Was Lashley/Angle one of the best matches ever in the UK? lol

Trips is more over and a better worker than 95% of the roster so the first bit is bollocks. The second part, if done right and with the end goal in mind is fine.So HHH/Reigns is it then? HHH should not have the title in 2016 and Reigns should not be about to drop the title. Again.
Don't disagree with the worker aspect. Just feel it's another stop start for Reigns. Cannot see it ending well given the recent booking history is all. If Reigns is the guy why not have him go through everyone, legitimately, until Rollins comes back? Just me but it seems daft to keep taking the belt off him.

What's boring and unoriginal? HHH has been in and around "the next guy" for the best part of 3 years. He eventually helped DB, he was a hinderance to Rollins and he's making Reigns look a bit of a chump. If he's so involved the PPV should start with him and Reigns 1&2 or him taking HHH out completely. Neutralize the threat. He's been there before.
Â
As for Reigns winning and staying champ through the Summer? I can't say it'd be boring as it would show a level of faith in someone we haven't seen for a while.
Â
By that I mean giving him the chance to run with it. Rollins was affected by shenanigans and screwy wins. Lesnar turned up once every few months. Reigns defeating 29 others and coming out of Mania with the belt gives him a chance.
Â
All that said booking will be the determining factor.
-
Doesn't achieve much either. Just highlights the fact he's a champ that ultimately comes up short when the odds are against him. Unlike Cena. If they want him to succeed they need to have him win through 'Mania into the Summer. Not interested in HHH/Reigns.
-
So excitement for the Rumble is pretty much nil. Reigns in at number 1 shocker, Bray Wyatt standing tall for what reason and Jericho being 10 years too late. It seems as though they are throwing ideas out in the hope that something will catch rather than coherently writing towards a defined goal. Poor show again this week.
-
No I get that. I just can't imagine not wanting to be the best at something and settling for the sort of car crash company like TNA. I appreciate Hardy himself is a car crash, but to not be remembered as one of the best when it was on a plate for me would kill me.
Â
As much as WWE need him it says a lot about their current roster that I'd rather ther throw millions at a junkie than invest in any of their current cookie cutter employees.
Â
Anyway I'm going OT a bit.
-
Apart from fairly easy money & schedule, I cannot see any reason you'd want to work for TNA. Especially Jeff who was en route to becoming the E's second biggest draw after Cena. I always wonder why professional pride and a desire to work at THE top of the industry just disappears from some guys.
Â
It's a shame that so much talent is wasted.
-
Bugger. Missed the nomination deadline. But I'd have had Sting as the Seth Rollins statue. That was epic.
-
I voted for Raid - his posts have been pretty damn good, fair, balanced and not afraid to cut the crap and say it like it is.
-
In that case they'd have to use the NXT writers to try and make it worthwhile and simultaneously make us forget that those featured have been booked to mean nothing for the last million years.
-
The issue then was the title was the secondary title and was never viewed as being THE title.
Â
Another brand split with the current writing could end the company. The apathy is bad just now but having half the guys on a show even less people watch wouldn't be good business.
-
Plus Rock/Brock will be worse than his Cena matches. Wouldn't buy it, don't want to see it. If that's what you want to see, have a word yourself.
-
The Rock wouldn't last five minutes with Brock. The Cena matches were awful and he suffered horrendous injuries after both. I wouldn't buy him as a credible foe.
-
Just watching River Cottage now on the Good Food channel. he has already said "Knocking one out", "I have a good hot lunch in my pocket" and "I've not had one of these in my hand for years", and we are only 8 minutes in!!
Actually laughed out loud reading this on the train home.

For a month or two maybe. Ryback needs cemented as a threat but I don't buy a Goldberg win and I don't buy a Ryback win either. That's the problem. Drastic changes required to make it a money spinner.
-
I don't see anyone buying into another Goldberg run for more than a PPV or two anyway. He's not a threat to Lesnar and we would, I assume, expect him to be doing over the mid-card main eventers we have currently so where does that leave everyone? WWE with a hole in their pockets and Goldberg with another million or two and yet more internet criticism to his name. Can't see the attraction and it would continue to dig the WWE deeper down the hole they're in.Â
ÂCould he and would he still 'go?' after all this time? I doubt it, his cardio seemed bad last time round, blown up after 8 minutes.
Â
Once all the big names are exhausted as a star attraction then what? Lesnar is back. Jericho has been done to the point no one cares. The Rock had two terrible 'Mania matches. HHH wrestles every other year anyway. Taker without the streak isn't great as there is no jeapordy or hook to his matches and his last few have been honking (SS aside) and Sting can't really go and looks his age. Cena won't be back as an attraction because he will never leave and Orton, Batista have been tarred with the last five years over exposure. None of the current crop are going to be true stars, due to parity booking and nothing story-lines. There is no break-out star that could be on top for a generation, not in the way they need them to be in terms of shifting merch and ticket sales.

I keep hoping they have a masterplan and then you read Big Vinnie Mac has a hard on for Taker/Strowman. Beggars belief he's still in charge.
