Finished Designated Survivor last night.
Series 1 & 2 really good. Series 3 not so much (made by a different production team I think).

We should definitely make the best of a bad situation and use this an excuse to bin the League Cup. And FA Cup replays.
And international breaks?

They don't seem to have grasped the concept that 'next season' is going to be an utter shitshow as well. Until you can get fans in stadiums (good luck with that), whether it be 4,000 at Gillingham or 50,000 at Newcastle, the national obsession (or so they would like to have you think) is all but fucking redundant. See how well the 'franchises' & mega TV deals work, without the people that built and supported those clubs over the decades, through thick and thin....the people they largely forget...and trust me, I am well placed to talk about that. I'm not suggesting Covid is a positive, it's a fucking menace, but if it puts even a temporary stop to obscene wages and the general whoring, football merry-go-round, from agents to betting companies to UEFA & FIFA officials, I've no problem at all with that. VAR already ruined the season at the top level, Covid destroyed it. I hope all the clubs survive, but they won't. If it means more F.C United's & Salfords have to start-up from ground-level, so be it. It's kinda been coming.
TV deals 'could' hit hard on a lot of teams. Either with lack of games/crowds or without paying subscriptions/sponsors/advertisers may mean less money.
I'm hoping it doesn't kill football, but in a way it will certainly show which clubs are run properly financially at least (higher end of the pyramid)
Then there are clubs in the premier league that are suggesting for no teams to be relegated which lets be honest would pretty much kill the season for entertainment value, even if the season were to continue, who's to say someone like Southampton might slip into the bottom places and then play the corona card to try get the season paused/cancelled?
There's still the Man City banning thing as well, does feel like whatever happens things will get messy.
Makes even more sense to void the season in the Premier League, Liverpool still have the world club cup & super cup to take from this season anyway.

I don't know if that's a screen shot of your browser windows, but great stuff nonetheless.

May as well just settle games on penalty shoot outs, at least there will be some social distancing between players.

Don't really think it's a story, as has already been discussed on the forum its probably an out of sight, out of mind thing.

Going back to the invasion storyline....back then I was a proper WWE mark. Didn't know much about WCW/ECW, didn't even watch it or give a shit about it so for people like me I kind of get why they used Shane/Stephanie as it gave me some reason to get involved into the storyline in a 'holy shit, where is this going' kind of way.
In hindsight I understand why it could have been done better knowing the talent they had at hand and some they might have used. I remember asking my mate about some of the WCW superstars and he said most of them were crap and Booker T was a shit version of The Rock which told me everything I needed to know, not helped by WWE making many of them look weak anyway.
Would it not have made sense to have WCW take over Smackdown?

After 3 days you get a refund if the item is not collected, maybe order again?

Piers Morgan also totally contradicted that statement this morning when he said that the virus "targets the elderly" because he makes it up as he goes along, changes his opinion constantly and seems to believe a virus has somehow got a spreadsheet of goals.
That's what Morgan does. He gives different versions of events and then when one of them is right he refers to that version and forgets the others, like those trolls you get on Twitter.

Don't think I ever finished Fringe (life got in the way at the time) but did really enjoy it, might give it a revisit. What's it on now?
Saw the first episode of Gangs Of London last night, quite an enjoyable opener, very graphic in places, there was enough from the first episode to keep me invested so will stick with it.

I've never actually seen it so, in traditional self hating Spurs mode, I'm going to watch it.
Might watch the cunts win the league at the Lane after for dessert.
Just finished watching the Premier League Years when you finished 3rd in a 2 horse race.
In all seriousness I saw one the other day (98?) when Gerry Francis jumped before he was pushed, Alan Sugar brought in Gross (probably copying Arsenal with hiring a foreign manager) & then he brought back Klinsmann and you just about stayed up that season.
That was with a team that had Fox, Ginola, Klinsmann, Campbell (sorry), Carr, Les Ferdinand etc.

Have been watching the Premier League Years and forgot how much I used to love the old Sky Sports Premier League ads. Maybe its the nostalgia getting the better of me but would love for them to bring the music back when its all up and running again.

Any more than three subs during 90 minutes makes a game a friendly, and whatever "competition" is being played factually pointless, imho. We want the season voided, not Boydyed!
The more I think about it, the worse it sounds. The time wasting would be unbearable when you have teams making all 5 subs in the last 5 minutes of games.
-
This game is already getting battered all over twitter and the other social media channels.
-
This probably wouldn't have even helped Spurs back in 2004 (sorry SuperBacon) but there is a proposal for up to 5 subs to be used in a game until the end of the 2021 season to help with fixture congestion what with everything months behind.

In New Zealand they went into a full-on lockdown (as opposed to our light version) and have effectively eliminated the virus from the population. They're now easing the lockdown to the level we're at currently, and presumably if that goes ok they'll ease it further in 2 or 3 weeks.
New Zealand closed the borders and anyone entering the country went into 2 weeks quarantine.
Whereas here in the UK most airports are still open and no one is being tested.

The Maradona documentary that was recently shown on C4 is well worth a watch if your looking for some 80's Italian football, yeah it focuses on Maradona but pretty much shows his whole Italian Career and the World Cup in Italy too. Brilliant watch that captures the 80's really well.

I'm sure the likes of Tamina are only still there because they live in Florida (performance centre) so probably saves on costs/travel or transport issues. At this current time anyway.

It'd be a fucking travesty if Liverpool got nothing from this season.
They won the Club World Cup and Super Cup.
I'm sure they will be happy with that.

What do we think are The great ones bedroom habits? PJ’s or in the buff? How many hours sleep does he get, left or right side of the bed? News24 or podcasts?
Probably walks around in his pants and looking at his pumped up arms in the mirror. I would say 4-5 hours sleep most and he probably sleeps in a separate room to Linda because he can.
Probably doesn't even use the internet so a good old fashioned book in bed might be his thing.

I don't know if this is the right thread but Charlie Brooker is doing a Coronavirus special soon, announced by bbc press today.
What have you been watching on (proper scripted) telly?

Halfway through Gangs Of London. Really enjoying it so far, as already mentioned some of the fighting scenes are great fun & its graphic in places too if you like that kind of thing.
I thought this would be your average sky original show, but have been proven wrong so far.
