An option for offline download is a good idea but not a groundbreaking idea as iplayer has had it for years. The other promotions like ROH/TNA/GFW is a bit weird as to my knowledge they haven't acquired their tape libraries unless they plan to do so. A new TV-14 ECW style product would be interesting but unless Paul E is involved it'll be like WWECW. The house shows being filmed and aired is a very good idea but again they used to film certain matches for the Coliseum video releases.
I guess the NJPW/ICW et al being listed means it'll be them working together unless they plan to incorporate their on demand services thru the network. A WWE GOT would be like when they were LARPing on Legends House. Also I imagine it would be a King of Kings vanity project for Hunter with Seth as the King Slayer.

One of the best songs on Sheila's Glamorous Life album, written by Prince. He was on fire during this time and had his protege acts Sheila, Apollonia 6, The Time and Mazarati. Prince also wrote this

@tiger_rick Yeah, it's a great old channel. A lot of their stuff is from BFI archives and hasn't seen TV in decades. Some great old obscurities on it.
Yep has some great old movies. If its on again A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square is worth checking out. Another good one is Suddenly with Frank Sinatra too.

That's one of the main problems sending him to developmental. Granted he needed to know how to work the WWE style but when you have a unique talent you have to book him in a way to utilise him best. He is more a showman, rather than a technically proficient wrestler. He is like Bray Wyatt where his entrance is the strongest part of the gimmick. His in ring style is unorthodox and they should put that over on the announce desk. He's not a cookie cutter WWE performer and its the WWEs role to put that over and they should match him up with opponents he can shine against. Put him against Sami again, AJ etc or like I mentioned send him to Raw. I think he'd click with Joe and Brock. I'd book him as the flamboyant underdog who against the odds beats the bigger opponent. I'd also do a 24 special and make him a big deal. Because its like if a team signed a top player and put him in the reserves. You have to cater the product around Nakamura to make him fit in. He should in theory be a top guy but hes drifting around the lower card. I wouldn't be surprised if WWE gives up on Nak and they job him out on Main Event. Would be just mind boggling to do so because you don't get unique talents like that very often. So its all up to WWE creative to find out why he's not getting over and connecting on a grander scale. I think maybe they need to break kayfabe a little and let the fans see the real Nakamura and have him talk about his gimmick, MJ, Freddie etc

This ESPN article http://www.espn.co.uk/wwe/story/_/id/19016401/wwe-nxt-shinsuke-nakamura-substance-style-takes-many-elements-makes-own is a good starting point to find out more about Nakamura. He references MJ in the ESPN article and http://www.wwe.com/amp/shows/smackdown/article/5-things-shinsuke-nakamura here it mentions Fred.

With the Rock star comparisons, Nak has said he's influenced by Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury. In essence his persona is a amalgamation of both. You have the flamboyance of Freddie and the hand gestures, ring attire etc are all MJ. How this all works within a pro wrestling framework is what the main issue is. You have a great gimmick, entrance but something just isn't clicking.
Booking retrospectively do you debut him at last years Mania?. Somehow Nakamura debuting at the conclusion of Takers match and going up against the Dead Man makes sense. Why? because both have unique one of a kind gimmicks. Plus it could have put Nak over as a superstar if he retired the Undertaker. That would have solidified him in the fans eyes.
Then have him as a special attraction. Maybe mix in some supernatural type stuff even to explain his eccentricity. Right now there's no explanation about who Shinsuke Nakamura is and why he's such a big deal. Putting him against Corbin et al makes little to no sense. Maybe trade him to Raw instead at least then he can work against Brock, Joe etc instead. Plus if they do trade him put some vignettes up to help put over who Nak is. I think switching anything up gimmick wise is a mistake. With the right booking and storytelling I think he could crossover as the Rockstar of WWE. Have him turn up on MTV etc and on talk shows to promote himself and WWE. Do a 24 special on him and get the gimmick over. Right now he's just who he is with no rhyme or reason. It makes no logical sense to sign Nakamura and don't utilise his uniqueness and talent. He's just another guy in the mix when he should, based on prior glory, be a main eventer or in the least a upper midcarder on the cusp of the main event.

Let's Get It On album really was what solidified Marvin as a "Lover man". With the title track, Come get to this, Just to keep you satisfied, You sure love to ball, Distant Lover etc. You could argue his gimmick was always the Ladies Man. What's intriguing about Marvin was that he wanted to be Motowns Nat King Cole and sing ballads. It could also be said if Marvin was the Superstar Billy Graham of the Ladies Man gimmick and Teddy Pendergrass was the Hulk Hogan. Teddy became the #1 love man with Turn off the lights, close the door etc. Although Marvin was the originator and managed to move back to the top with the Midnight Love album after Teddy sadly had an car accident which paralysed him from the chest down.

Nak has a great entrance and a unique gimmick. However he isn't really connecting with the masses. I think maybe he could tone it down a little with the hand gestures and such. But then you're taking part of his uniqueness away. I think ideally Nakamura needs a mouthpiece. Like Great Muta had Gary Hart and Tajiri had the Sinister Minister in ECW. Paul E could work if they turn him heel and maybe make a new Dangerous Alliance type stable.
Outside of Paul there's Paul Ellering and that's about it. He would be a good option. I would use him more as a special attraction too unless you put him up against Roode and bring Bobby up to SmackDown. Maybe a heel Nak vs Styles would get him over. His in ring style needs to be more impactful too. It's more showmanship than straight up strong style. Hes arguably the most unique talent on the roster and it's up to creative to get the best out of him. But he's difficult to "get" unless you've seen his work in New Japan and know about his gimmick.

There's a new book about him too http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/middlesbrough-born-authors-book-revisits-12687356 Paul Sykes passed away ten years ago according to the article. If he stayed out of prison and won the Commonwealth belt he could have had a decent boxing career. But yeah he had a great "gimmick" if you will. Reminded me of Mr Bob Backlund turned up to 11 when he was putting his kids in their place and the other stuff. He's also reminiscent of Charlie Bronson, not surprisingly they were mates and both former boxers.
New wrestling figures!

They could bring out a classic series so you get Hasbro style figures of the Powers of Pain, Haku, Big John Studd et al and managers like Bobby Heenan, Mr Fuji, Sherri, Elizabeth etc as I think you see a lot of customs on eBay of wrestlers who didn't get Hasbro figures. A line of Diesel and the Hasbro head molds which were in development would be cool to have as proper figures. I'm thinking the market there would be too niche. Also would have been good if they got some of the original Hasbro designers on board and made the new ones more retro looking.
