We had a bit of a discussion about this the other day in another thread, and yeah, Lombardi was the best we could come up with without it being a gimmick. He certainly did the Brawler & Kimchee at the same time.
Probably Steve Lombardi. He was doing Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz ("on strike" in the crowd") while still appearing as the Brooklyn Brawler in the ring. I think. I'm pretty sure when he was doing the Bushwhackers kangaroo, he was also still wrestling under at least one gimmick - possibly Doink, or possibly still BB as well. When was the last time someone played two different characters on TV at the same time, like the current Simon Dean/Nova situation? I don't mean if it was part of their gimmick, like Foley. But where WWE havn't actually acknowledged they are the same person.

Sonjay Dutt is one. He's featured on one of those "Best of Backyard Wrestling" DVDs.are there many Indy pro's that use to be backyarders? I remember someone saying M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohabition were backyarders before they had the proper training are there any others you know of?.

It was in fact a "Disco Ladder Match". It was held in a ring set up in the middle of a disco dance floor, with people seated at tables around it. Throughout the match, the disco lights were flashing, and music playing constantly. To win, you had to climb a ladder & retrieve an LP, sprayed gold, suspended from a piece of gold tinsel. It's fucking hilarious, but I'm not sure that's the intention. What is a "Disco Challenge" match? Sounds groovy.

As far as I recall, a regular match that happened to have one of the Freebirds in it.I remember they brawled outside the arena, so it might've been falls count anywhere, but going outside was hardly that uncommon in ECW.What is a Bad Street Match? ECW held one at Natural Born Killaz in 1996.
