  1. After listening to Radio 2 for a bit this morning the only political story has been about the Labour party being branded as antisemitic. If it was another party being branded as anti-Islamic then that would actually be seen as a positive to certain groups of people.

dont wanna start a new thread for it, but fuck me ive missed this place 😊

I have was tempted to sign back to the Sherdog forum. Then I looked at it again and it is still fucking awful.

  3. The fact that Bladerunner is no longer a film set in the future, since it is set in November 2019. Given the choice of the present with Brexit, Johnson and Trump, I would prefer the dystopian version from the film. I want flying cars, replicants and interplanetary travel.

Saw GTA5 is £8 in the Black Friday sale on PS4 and picked it up. It's about £8.50 on XBone. Alas it seems my new broadband appears to be interfering with my controller and the right analogue stick keeps drifting, which is annoying when I get into a gunfight and suddenly can't see where I'm going/what I'm doing. Even using it in wired mode.

That sounds like controller drift. Turn off your controller and make sure the stick is centred then turn it back on. If it persists then the controller is broken.

Kenny’s thing was fine. I felt out of the loop, but in a way that made me think Kenny Omega has his finger on the pulse of pop culture to a greater extent than me. Which lines up fine with his Gay Weeaboo gimmick.

A friend of mine who I am fairly certain has never watched pro wrestling in their life linked the video  of the entrance and cosplay on Facebook. She can definitely be called a gay weeabo, so he is definitely hitting that demographic.

KLF fascinate the hell out of me. I guess they're a little forgotten by history because they deleted their own catalogue.

I don't think KLF/ K Foundation and various other Drummond and Cauty projects have been forgotten. If only because music writers love to wax lyrical about how they subverted pop music. If you have read or read about the Manual they really nailed how to make a pop hit. It's things in it that still hold true today, most of The Black Eyed Peas big hits completely follow the books rules on song writing.

They're not very relevant with their music because they only really did singles and their albums are mostly terrible. They haven't released anything in 20 years, but they are a fascinating duo.

  7. If UFC were to add another weight class,  I would like a super heavyweight division. Just get some massive lads to batter lumps out of each other. The only thing is that there wouldn't be much depth to the division and a lot of the fights that don't get finished early would end up being dull. It would still be fun to have the occasional match with some really big dudes.

I'm camping at download next year, I've done days before but never camping. I've gone for quiet camping because people are probably cunts.

Any advice, tips or dos and don'ts?

There are showers, get there before 7.30am before they get stinky. Otherwise baby wipes and deodorant are your friends. No glass bottles, but if you can't be arsed to decant a bottle of whiskey just roll your sleeping bag around it. Buy a good sleeping bag, if it's too hot for it then you can unzip it. A shit sleeping bag will leave you freezing.

If you're going solo a pop tent will do you, but get at least a 2 berth one, so you have room for your bags and shit. Take toilet roll and bin bags. The bin bags can be used as a poncho, emergency shoe covers and for putting damp clothes in. Also take extra pants and socks, there is every chance you will go through 2 pairs of each a day either through sweat or rain. Sometimes both in the same day.

Still, as nice as it is to see Cain happy it does suck as an MMA fan to see how his career fizzled out and ended, he should have gone gone down as the greatest.

Similar in a way to DC, both AKA guys who seem to train too hard and get injured a lot. That's something that a lot of guys seem to think that training hard is the same as training smart. Knowing your own body and when to ease off a bit is sometimes the best thing to do.

I still find it amazing how some of the top guys never really train until they have a fight booked and go into a fight camp. Then you have guys who seem to always be ready to fight will happily take fights at short notice.

I'm in Peru which I read is 220V, 60Hz. The charger says 100-240V, 50-60Hz, so that part should be fine.

I've taken the plug out from the Mac charger (which I forgot you could do) but the plug has something affixed at the bottom that fits it into the charger. If that makes sense.

I don't know whether the travel adapters (or two of them in this case) really do anything (like I know its unsafe to daisy chain extension leads).

I don't know if you could get a 2 pin shaver socket adapter to just attack onto the Apple plug. If not a yank replacement will do. I wouldn't recommend using 3 adapters like that, because will have a bunch of wobbly connections at a fairly high voltage.

  11. I think this should answer it.

Really though what voltage are you looking to use through the lot? Also the Apple plug can just be popped off and replaced. Negating the need for a yank adapter.

My arse is browner than them, and I’m a Mancunian.

Is there a correlation between your inability to wipe your arse and being from Manchester?
