  1. Ah, that's good news. It's been brilliant so far, though for some reason I was really fond of the first two seasons, more than I enjoyed season 3 & 4. I also like all the nods to it's father show that they reference. The episodes where Sam and Diane returned neatly tied up Frasiers relationships with the characters. Lillith is also one of my favorite sitcom characters.

  2. Frasier

I have often watched episodes of Frasier, but back then I'd be damned if I had a clue where in the chronology it was from. My friend who's just gone off to travel the world has lent me the 11 season boxset. Currently up to Season 4 and it has been brilliant viewing. Almost every episode hits the high mark for laughs and as a Cheers fan it's nice to see Frasiers whole character fleshed out. The support chracters are brilliant. Roz and Martin Crane and brilliant roles to play under Frasier as his polar opposites and Niles Crane is, as most would say, the highlight of every season so far. The romance with Daphne is a great arc that I know goes on forever but it leads to some great episodes during the show I've watched so far (Moon Dance from Season 3 being a shining example). The second tier support characters are brilliant as well especially Gil Chesterton. The episode I finished this morning was 'Ham Radio' featuring the KACL stars performing an old radio detective play that goes to shit because of Frasiers manic directing. I haven't tired of it yet, though I hear the show starts to take itself seriously too much near the end. So far though, so good.

  3. It's that important it had to be posted in two threads, yeah?

Anyways, I've just been listening to some wonderful James Hunt commentary on Youtube. God, Jonathan Palmer was an absolutely fucking terrible replacement for him.

In retrospect they were a bit fucked, Palmer wasn't any good at all really but replacing James Hunt was a massive task. He was like the Jesse Ventura of F1 commentary. Stylish, cool as fuck, sided with the heels sometimes, an enormous character against Murray Monsoon. The Walker/Hunt races have some great commentary moments. Hunt wasn't a bad driver either, his statistics make him out to be a bit lucky in some peoples minds, but Hunt was grand.

  4. Triple H vs Shelton Benjamin

One of my favourite upsets ever. This was around the spell where HHH recovered from his 02-03 form and started having quality matches nearly every week again. Listen to the crowd during Shelton's entrance, then listen to the POP at the end. Brilliant stuff

How bland do you have to be to not kick on and become a star after a start like that?

    EDIT. Cleets did it above.

  5. WWE issued the following earlier today:

POP ICON CYNDI LAUPER TO GUEST STAR ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW AT 9 PM ON USA NETWORK

Singer, songwriter and actress Cyndi Lauper is coming back to WWE. She will guest-star on Monday Night Raw live on USA Network from Nassau Coliseum in New York, N.Y. on June 18.

Cyndi is no stranger to WWE as she appeared at WrestleMania I standing in Hall of Famer Wendi Richter's corner and serving as her manager. Wendi even utilized Cyndi's mega hit "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" as her entrance music. In addition, many may remember Capitan Lou Albano's cameo in Cyndi's video for the nostalgic female anthem.

Cyndi Lauper burst onto the world stage as the quintessential girl who wants to have fun. After more than 25 sterling years and global record sales in excess of 30 million, she has proven that she has the heart and soul to keep her legion of fans compelled by her every creative move.

Cyndi should have been in the HOF way back when.
