  1. You can order it from WWE.com never done it myself though, don't think theres anyway you can pay for free to air content without getting the whole package.

Ah that's annoying, if I'm going to watch it on this smaller screen I may as well do it illegally. I'm living with my grandparents over the summer and they have a 40" HD screen so I'd have absolutely fucking LOVED that.

  2. I never really saw Batman as physically intimidating though, he's more of a skilled fighter than a meathead.

Keaton was an excellent Batman and, as has been said above, Tim Burton's first Batman film is the best of all the cinema takes on Batman. And I say that as someone who pretty much detests Burton nowadays.

Burton is pretty awful nowadays. I was dragged to see the new Alice In Wonderland and it became the second film I've walked out of. I would have left earlier if I wasn't forcing myself to stay around for the sake of my friend who wanted to see it. Eventually even he agreed it was awful and we could go.

Still despite that, his Batman films are far more enjoyable than Nolan's. Doing a serious and dark take on Batman doesn't mean it also needs to be boring as sin. Worst part about it is half the time it ends up looking ridiculous, like when Scarecrow sets him on fire in Begins or Joker's entire break out of prison bit in TDK.

  3. It's all subjective really, it depends on what you're looking for in a Batman film. I tend to find that the more hardcore Batman fans prefer the Nolan franchise, where the more hardcore film fans prefer the Burton ones. Not a concrete theory mind, just based on what I've seen.

Big Batman fan here. Not a fan of the Nolan films but love the Burton ones. Nolan sucks all the fun and coolness out of Batman for me.

  4. I havn't posted barely anything in the paidos forum for months, but nice try anyway. You are overreacting and it's making you look daft.

EDIT: Looks like you realised that and deleted what you said. Smooth, Ron. Real smooth.

No, I thought I was being overly harsh on you.

You fucking bully! Triple A is only 20! Bet you feel like a big man now don't you?

  5. Batman Returns

I thought Tim Burton's previous Batman film was flawed with a bit of a contrived plot, but still a more or less fun watch. Batman Returns makes that look like an absolute masterpiece. It's like Burton didn't even give a shit this time around. Everything about it is just so flat.

    Batman Begins

Blows every other Batman film out of the water. And really highlights that Tim Burton can't do action.

Batman Returns is far from a perfect film but it's about a hundred times more entertaining than the painfully dull Batman Begins.

  6. Final Harry Potter trailer

I may be in the minority on here but I cannot wait for this to come out. It looks incredible.

If it was released this morning, that might mean they're putting it on in cinemas in front of Green Lantern... it's almost enough to make me want to see Green Lantern, just in case they have this on first...

That looks incredible, can't wait to see the final parts of the last book put on screen.

In other news, here's the trailer for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig. Loved the books, and from the trailer this adaption seems quite loyal to the original story.

It's quite loyal to the other The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie too.

Whoever it is, they've ruined the Immigrant Song, horrible cover version.

    Must diagree, Reznor > Zeppelin.

In my humble opinion, of course ;)

  7. I watched Insidious last night and it was one of the best horror's I've seen in ages, had the hairs on me arms standing on end a few times ( mainly due to the music )

It got a bit shite in the last half hour or so but it was still really good I thought

Did you see it in the cinema or on a TV?

I found with the Paranormal Activity's that they were great for a cinema experience but were really shit when watched again at home.

I found the exact opposite. Watching films like that alone in the dark is way better than at the cinema. Much better atmosphere.

Strange, I just find the atmosphere is better when there are people in there genuinely shit scared as with paranormal activity yet at home its just you and your sensible thoughts.

Interesting that Denzel thinks 3D is better at home too, ive not seen 3D on a TV yet but I imagine youd need it to be on a pretty big screen ala 50"+ for it to be any good, I always thought the reason it looked good at the cinema was that the size of the screen gave it much better scope but may be wrong.

I guess Paranormal Activity is a bad example mind as that film was just awful regardless.

  10. The other X-Men films ranged from appallingly dull to god-awful so I'm not too bothered about the lack of continuity. I'd rather take it as a reboot that just coincidentally uses some of the same actors. I mean Hugh Jackman basically IS Wolverine at this point anyway.

And I'm aware X2 was decent...but it's nowhere near as great as people make it out to be. I found First Class to be much better.

  11. I think the reason Azazel is the fucking devil in the film is because that's pretty much what he is in the comics. Nightcrawler's dad I believe. He could be an interesting character with development. I agree Emma Frost was awful though, even more so because she's one of my favorites and this is twice they've made her shite.
