We're days away from FutureShock's final Stockport show before their huge Twelfth Anniversary event in August. Titles are on the line, huge debuts, a former champ's return to action at The Guildhall and more besides.

It's a big return to the Guildhall for the mighty Rampage Brown. At our last show T-Bone unleashed him as his mystery partner in the tag team main event against Gibson and his partner Cyanide. In the end the devious champ prevailed by clocking T-Bone with a length of chain he found under the ring. This left him easy pickings for the 400lbs behemoth Cyanide. 

FutureShock management have decided that it's time for 'Liverpool's Number One' to back his claim to being "FutureShock's Number One' by arranging some suitable competition. Therefore Zack Gibson will defend his title against Rampage Brown in the main event of Uproar 89. A title match that could change the face of the company.

Jack Gallagher is back.

 

Jack Gallagher has been in the US representing both FutureShock and British wrestling as part of WWE's groundbreaking Cruiserweight Classic tournament. The world is about to realise everything we've known about The Extraordinary One for quite some time but what does this mean for us back home? We can confirm that Jack Gallagher will be at Uproar 89 to discuss his status with WWE as well as his future in our company.

Apparently WWE have signed Tajiri to a contract past his appearance(s) in the Cruiserweight Classic. I really hope we get to see some more Tajiri/Regal interaction on Raw or Smackdown after the roster split.

My dream of seeing Tajiri & Jack Gallagher challenge The Revival for the NXT tag titles gets a little closer...

Here's all the results from June 17th's Underground show in Prestwich's Longfield Suite.

 

Ashton Smith defeated Damon Leigh w/out Chris Egan (More on his absence later...) with his patented Go 2 Sleep.

 

 

Noticeably reluctant to lock horns with T-Bone, Gibson found a length of chain under the ring and struck the former champion hard in the face with a loaded punch. Cyanide capitalised and took T-Bone down for a pinfall victory. The issues between the two are far from settled. 

 

This huge action packed event will be available soon on DVD and On Demand via the FutureShock website.

Was a fun show. Not seen some of the regulars for ages, whats happened to people like Joey Hayes, Nordic Warrior, Axl Rage. Have they stopped now.

Let's see... Joey Hayes has been on the bench for a while with a torn pectoral. No doubt we'll see him again before too long along with Danny Hope. They're still recognised as the tag team champions despite Wonderland's pilfering.

 

Axl Rage has gone off the radar since the demise of the Blackpool Blonds. If he sees fit to return then James Drake had best stay sharp.

 

Nordic Warrior is nursing an injury sustained during a pillaging session on the Fylde coast.

Excellent stuff. Rest assured we've every intention of setting the bar for the weekend.

Zack Gibson cashes in his Futureshock Tournament Trophy at Underground 16 on a beaten, bruised but unbowed T-Bone. Zack Gibson relieves T-Bone of his FutureShock Championship after striking him with his own tombstone piledriver.

 

Zack Gibson emerges at Uproar 88 demanding that he is presented with the title in a manner befitting the first three time champion. Zack Gibson's moment is interrupted by a vengeful T-Bone, eager to get his hands on the man that attacked him from behind. Zack Gibson leaves but not before telling T-Bone that he has no interest in facing him for the title.

 "Coach" Sam Bailey defeated "The Man For All Seasons" Xander Cooper by pinning him with a 'Master-Ball' inside cradle. Cooper, clearly incensed at the loss, went on a tirade against the Futureshock Faithful afterwards.

 

FutureShock women's champion Lana Austin defeated Violet Vendetta in a non-title match with her patented LDDT. In a shock return, former champion April Davids stormed the ring and attacked Austin, choking her unconscious with a dragon sleeper hold. In the ultimate display of disrespect she then SPAT on the FutureShock women's title and left through the crowd.

 

Soner Durson overcame both Ashton Smith and newcomer 'Smashmouth' Chris Ridgeway in an action packed Adrenaline division triple threat match. Durson took advantage of an Ashton smith superplex to deliver a frog splash on Ridgeway for the win.

 

Futureshock Wrestling Academy's latest graduate and newest roster member Jensen Blake faced his toughest challenge to date in the immense form of Cyanide. Sadly for Blake this wasn't to be his first victory as the Toxic Terror hit Sparkling Cyanide choke bomb. To add insult (And injury..) to injury he then strucka huge splash after the bell.

 

Newly crowned FutureShock champion Zack Gibson emerged for a championship ceremony where he would be officially presented with the title. Never at a loss for words, he tore into the Futureshock Faithful verbally to a volley of jeers. Liverpool's Number One then demanded that Damien Smith of FutureShock management place the belt around his waist.

 

T-Bone, the man that Gibson wrenched the title away from at Underground 17, stormed the ring looking to get his hands on the new champ. Gibson backed out, claiming that he had no interest in facing T-Bone again and insulted the tattooed terror to the point that he planted a member of FutureShock staff with a tombstone. "That's for you!", he shouted at Gibson.

 

Wonderland, the team of Noah and Henry T. Grodd defeated Sexy Kev and John McGregor, The Sexy Gentlemen after Grodd struck McGregor with one of the stolen FutureShock tag team title belts.

 

In the main event The Extraordinary Jack Gallagher challenged Adrenaline Champion James Drake. This was to be Gallagher's last Futureshock bout before he left for WWE's Cruiserweight Classic in June. After an incredible back and forth match Gallagher was attacked at ringside by an irate Xander Cooper, intent on preventing him from becoming the first FutureShock Grand Slam Champion. When this failed Cooper then attacked Drake in full view of the ref, thus ensuring that he would retain his title via disqualification.

 

Afterwards Gallagher said that he still had one more FutureShock match in him before he left and challenged Cooper to go one on one with him at Underground 17 in Prestwich on June 17th.

Biased I may be given that they're both mates but Jim Smallman's new Tuesday Night Jaw podcast with Jack Gallagher is a cracking listen. 

Two more matches announced for Uproar 88 on May 22nd. A FutureShock Wrestling School graduate faces his toughest challenge to date and two veterans of the promotion square off with pride on the line.

 

The challenge of a lifetime...

FutureShock Management gave James Drake, the reigning and defending Adrenaline Champion until May 1st to respond to their messages concerning his title. He responded with this video. 

 

Be careful what you ask for Mr Drake.

FutureShock Training School Open Day

With FutureShock head trainer Xander Cooper and WWE Global Cruiserweight Series entrant The Extraordinary Jack Gallagher.

 

 

A perfect opportunity for anyone that's keen to try their hand inside the ring but isn't sure where to start. An introductory session that's perfect for all levels of ability and experience under the watchful eyes of Xander Cooper and Jack Gallagher, both former FutureShock champions and graduates of the school themselves.

Xander Cooper, a veteran wrestler on the UK scene, is widely regarded as one of the most intuitive and skillful teachers of professional wrestling in the country. With an excellent eye for detail and a commitment to helping develop the 'whole wrestler' Xander is adept at bringing the absolute best out of his students. 

Jack Gallagher, having recently qualified for the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series in June, is widely regarded as one of the finest wrestlers on the planet and any opportunity to learn from him is not to be wasted. We might not have him to hand for much longer.

The cost for the session is £15 and this will include access to all of the following week's training sessions at the FutureShock school for no extra charge.

On the off chance that you've been residing underneath a fair sized chunk of granite this past week... Two time former FutureShock champion The Extraordinary Jack Gallagher qualified for the highly anticipated WWE World Cruiserweight Series with a hard fought win over 'Bruiserweight' Pete Dunne last Sunday. Highlights of the, ahem, extraordinary bout can be found on WWE's official YouTube channel. 

Futureshock management have confirmed that the man referred to by WWE as a 'mat wizard' will be in action at the Masonic Guildhall in Stockport on Sunday 22nd May for Uproar. Could this be his farewell match? Who will his opponent be? What will he have to say?

Futureshock Wrestling's training school will be hosting a seminar with Nigel McGuinness on the evening of Tuesday April 19th in Manchester. The price for the session is £25 and that would include a week's access to the school under the watchful eye of head trainer Xander Cooper.

Futureshock Champion T-Bone successfully defended his title against Mark Massa by disqualification after Massa attacked him with a pipe. After the decision Zack Gibson teased that he would cash in his Trophy Tournament title shot but thought better of it. T-Bone then challenged Massa to a street fight.

The next Futureshock show will be on Sunday 13th March at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall.

Futureshock Wrestling's year kicked off in no uncertain terms on January 17th at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall. A red hot crowd bore witness to an incredible tag-team main event, a brutal women's title match, a hard fought tag team title defence and so much more.
 

Manchester's home grown wrestling company returns to the Longfield Suite in Prestwich on Saturday February 13th with titles on the line and more than a few personal issues that need to be settled.

 

In the main event T-Bone defends his Futureshock Championship against Mark Massa, a match with more than a little hostility bubbling under the surface. The resourceful Massa came up short in the 2015 Trophy Tournament but made sure to hold the champ's attention with a brutal assault at the close of the night. Bone has wanted to get his hands on Massa ever since but the cost of payback will be a shot at his gold. 

Will the champion retain or will the challenger's new found mean streak and focus translate into the biggest win of his career?

 

Any fans of British wrestling will already be excited at the prospect of this match up. Mikey Whiplash, one of the very best that the business has to offer, verses Zack Gibson, currently in arguably the finest form of his life. These two masters of the mat game came face to face in the tag team main event of Futureshock Uproar in January. Gibson, the Futureshock Trophy holder, clearly wants to send a message to T-Bone by knocking off his friend and colleague. Whiplash would no doubt lover a chance to silence Liverpool's Number One and move himself into contention for a title match of his own. 

Two men at the top of their game fighting for pride. This match will be everything that's good about professional wrestling.

With more matches to be announced this will be a tremendous night out for all the family.
