One year ends... Another begins. With that in mind it's on to September and FutureShock Uproar 90.Â
Â
The aftermath of our Twelfth Anniversary show is still fresh in our minds. FutureShock Champion Zack Gibson went to extreme lengths to retain his title against T-Bonein the insane chain match main event. In the end he retained via stoppage after a brutal chain assisted Shankley Gates but not before he'd kicked the challenger below the belt and literally dismantled the ring to assault him with it.ÂAs he stood gloating several of the fallen tattooed warrior's friends came to his assistance. One was Ashton Smith, already victorious in the opening match. He stood eye to eye, face to face with the champion to make sure the assault on his comrade was done.ÂSmith would like nothing more than to become the next contender for the richest prize in FutureShock. Gibson, however, has some unfinished business with a man he cheated out of his title with a chain assisted right hook the last time we were in Stockport.ÂA tag team match has been signed as our main event for Uproar 90 on Sunday September 18th. It will be Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown joining forces against Zack Gibson and James Drake.ÂWhy has Drake agreed to team with Gibson? What are his motivations? Can Ashton Smith prove that he deserves to be in contention for the title? Will Rampage settle the score?ÂFind out by being there. Sunday October 18th. Masonic Guildhall in Stockport. Tickets on sale NOW from www.futureshockwrestling.co.uk. Ringside seats SOLD OUT. Reserved second row available in limited numbers as well as general admission and family tickets.ÂÂ -
It was an epic twelve years in the making... Thank you to every single person that shouted, screamed, cheered, booed and made for an incredible atmosphere on Saturday at the Longfield Suite.
ÂIn results from the night...
ÂAshton Smith pinned Chris Ridgeway with the Go 2 Sleep in an all action opening match. Ridgeway lived up to his 'Smashmouth' nickname with a barrage of incredible kicks and strikes but it wasn't enough to keep Smith down.
Â
Â
ÂApril Davids finally squared off with Lana Austin for Austin's FutureShock Women's Championship. Davids had ploughed through all opposition since her return to FutureShock and early on it looked as though she might dominate the champion too. Lana Austin, showing incredible fighting spirit, weathered the storm and capitlized on Davids' growing frustration to pin her with a brutal DDT. This rivalry is far from over.
Â
Â
Â
The FutureShock Tag Team Championship had been declared vacant due to an injury sustained by Joey Hayes, one of half of officially recognised champions The Models. The physical belts had been in the hands of Wonderland ever since they decided to simply take them from Danny Hope and Melanie Price. With no official champions a gauntlet match was signed with the four top teams competing.
ÂThe Sexy Gentlemen squared off with Soner Dursun and Sam Bailey to kick off the gauntlet. After an incredible back and forth match between two of the most popular tandems in the company it was the Gents that prevailed after a McGregor flatliner followed by Sexy Kev's top rope splash.
ÂÂ
ÂThe Uprising stormed the ring immediately, looking to take full advantage of weakened opposition. Despite the advantage and some incredible team work Don Meacho and Ryan Hendricks couldn't keep the Gents down. In the end they also fell to a flatliner and top rope splash combination.
Â
Â
ÂWonderland emerged full of confidence to pick the bones. Too confident initially as a misplaced spear by Henry T. Grodd on Noah nearly led to a pinfall out of nowhere. In the end this twisted duo was simply too fresh and dangerous for the valiant Sexy Gentlemen. A Jabberwocky elevated DDT was enough to officially claim the titles for them.
Â
Â
ÂMoments later Melanie Price emerged through the curtains, soon after followed by the returning Joey Hayes and Danny Hope. They came close to hitting the 3D Death Drop but their demented tormentors retreated. The Models are back and they clearly want those titles back.
Â
Â
ÂOne defiant champion and three challengers looking to make history... That was the scenario leading into the four way elimination match for James Drake's Adrenaline Championship. If Jack Gallagher, Cyanide or Xander Cooper prevailed then they would be the first ever Grand Slam champion, the first man to have held EVERY title in FutureShock.
Â
Â
Â
Cyanide dominated in the early going, much as you'd expect a four hundred pound monster to. Alliances formed and crumbled as his three foes were ragdolled around. In the end it took all three of them to chop the big man down and dogpile him for the pinfall.
Â
Â
Â
The action continued with three men until James Drake's attempt to put Xander Cooper away with the Mr Mayhem DDT left him wide open for Jack Gallagher's estocado dropkick in the corner and subsequent pinfall.Â
Â
ÂWith Drake's elimination we were guaranteed to see history made. Who would be the first ever Grand Slam champion? Gallagher and Cooper, no strangers to one another, went tooth and nail with the title on the line. James Drake returned to ringside and, unbeknownst to the referee, struck Gallagher with a forearm and left him open to a schoolboy pinfall elimination. Your winner, new Adrenaline Champion and the first ever FutureShock Grand Slam champion is 'The Man For All Seasons' Xander Cooper.
Â
Â
Â
ÂThe eagerly anticipated rematch between Jenson Blake and Mark Massa had to wait as the big man from London town was ruled out of competition after surgery last week. In the end we had another rematch as Blake faced off against Deadly Damon Leigh, a man that dealt him a defeat in his Underground debut. This time around it was a win for the FutureShock Academy graduate when he caught Leigh with a huge jawjacker for a pinfall.
Â
Â
ÂMain event time and number one contender T-Bone was beyond eager to get his hands on Zack Gibson, the man that took the FutureShock Championship from him. Liverpool's number one had been reluctant to lock horns with T-Bone, hence the chain match stipulation. Initially the champion refused to put the chain around his wrist until The Tattooed Terror had beaten him all over the building, putting him through the merchandise table for good measure.
Â
Â
Â
ÂThe match was as brutal a standing fight as we've ever seen in a FutureShock ring. Both men used the chain to gain advantage, frequently striking and clotheslining each other with it. In the end it was an utterly ruthless Zack Gibson that took advantage of the no disqualification rule to kick T-Bone below the belt and then literally dismantle the ring to assault him with the turnbuckle and fling him shoulder first into the exposed post. Nevertheless T-Bone would not stay down. In the end it was a chain assisted Shankley Gates that did for the challenger when he passed out, refusing to tap out. The winner and still FutureShock champion, Zack Gibson.

Here's a rather fine video package to bring you up to speed on Lana Austin's championship match with April Davids this coming Saturday. It's going to be a hell of a scrap.Â
Â

Jack Gallagher will be taking part in a live Q&A on the FutureShock Facebook page tonight at midnight ahead of his WWE Cruiserweight Classic debut. Pop byy and ask about WWE, PWG, FutureShock, moustache wax, manners, gentlemanly conduct and anything else that crosses your mind. -
FutureShock's Adrenaline Championship has been a focal point of the company ever since Soner Dursun first lifted it early last year. A chance for the exciting, dynamic athletes that make up the backbone of FutureShock to compete for a title that means the world to them. It also gives FutureShock an opportunity to showcase these incredible wrestlers in a division all of their own.
To this end the FutureShock Adrenaline title will now effectively be the promotion's answer to the NWA Television Title of the 1980s. The title will be defended on a show by show basis and every single match featuring the Adrenaline Champion will be uploaded to the FutureShock YouTube channel in full, for free within two months.Â
Right now Episode Two of FutureShock Access ADRENALINE is fresh for viewing and it feature's James Drake defending against the debuting Liam Lazarus. You can also see Episode One where Drake puts his title on the line against the returning Jack Gallagher.
Here's a playlist. Do enjoy. Like, subscribe and so on.

Announced last night for the Twelfth Anniversary...
Â
Two thirds of a frenetic triple threat match at Uproar 88... On August 13th at the Longfield Suite they will have an opportunity to go one on one for the first time.
Â
'Smashmouth' Chris Ridgeway made a huge impression in rapid fashion during his company debut. A superb athlete that bristled with confidence to the point of arrogance, his devastating strikes and kicks took the FutureShock Faithful''s breath away. He would love to make a home for himself amongst our finest.
Â
Ashton Smith has made his home in Manchester and, over the past year, he's rapidly become one of the most popular wrestlers to ever set foot in a FutureShock ring. With his fire, charisma and skill he's come within a hairs breadth of greatness many times. A big win on our biggest show of the year could be the catalyst for something huge.
Â
Two hungry young British wrestlers step in a ring at the Longfield Suite. Both eager to make an impression, both eager to prove that they should be the centre of attention in FutureShock Wrestling. This could well be a show stealer.
Â
Tickets on sale now from futureshockwrestling.co.uk. Ringside sold out, reserved second row available but limited as well as general admission.

Just announced for the Twelfth Anniversary on August 13th...
Â
Enough is enough.
Â
That's FutureShock management's stance on the situation around the tag team division. Last autumn Wonderland took full advantage of an isolated Danny Hope whilst his partner, Joey Hayes, was recovering from major surgery. They assault The Delicious One, took the tag team championship belts and cleared out. Henry T. Grodd's last words before he walked away with Noah... "When you want these back, come get them."
Â
To date we've not heard from our reigning champions therefore, with a heavy heart, FutureShock management have come to the conclusion that the titles will have to be vacated. In order to get the titles back from Wonderland an agreement has been reached that would be eligible to compete for a chance to become the officially recognised champions.
Â
This doesn't meant that it has to be made easy for them.
Â
On August 13th in Prestwich there will be a tag-team gauntlet match to determine the undisputed FutureShock Tag Team Champions. Two random teams will start. When one team is defeated the victors will face the next team. This will continue until one team is left victorious. The participants are...
Â
Wonderland: Henry T. Grodd & Noah w/Oscar
The Sexy Gentlemen: Sexy Kev & The Gentleman John McGregor
The Uprising: Don Meacho & Ryan Hendricks
Soner Dursun & Sam BaileyÂ
All four teams have been fighting harder than ever these past few months in an effort to prove that they should be the standard bearers for the division. At our Twelfth Anniversary show they'll have a chance to prove themselves once and for all.
Â
We are GUARANTEED to see new champions on August 13th. Don't miss out on seeing history made. Get your tickets now from futureshockwrestling.co.uk.

Â
Â
It all started at Uproar 88 when April Davids made her first appearance at FutureShock in almost two years. The former Women's Champion ran in through the crowd and assaulted our current champion Lana Austin. An assault that culminated with a viciously applied dragon sleeper hold that rendered her victim unconscious.
Â
Â
Since then April Davids has made her return to active competition and annihilated every opponent that FutureShock management has placed in her way. Her vicious strikes, suplexes and throws have led to convincing victories by tap out to the dragon sleeper now referred to as Lights Out. Nobody has lasted much more than a minute against her fury and she has yet to be taken off her feet since her return. Opponents, officials, fans... Nobody is safe from her fury and intimidation.
Â
Â
Except for one woman.
Â
At Uproar 89 April Davids was literally contorting her opponent with Lights Out, bending her spine in half. Two officials tried to prise her off and failed. Lana Austin, incensed beyond measure, stormed the ring to confront her attacked. Caught off guard, Davids backed out the ring but made it clear that this would never happen again as our champion held her title aloft.
Â
Â
The champion has called out the challenger. Therefore at the Twelfth Anniversary Show on August 13th in Prestwich Lana Austin will place her title on the line against April Davids.
Â
Can April Davids reclaim the title that she was never defeated for in the ring? Can Lana Austin overcome her toughest challenge to date and prove herself as champion?
Â
Find out on August 13th. Tickets available now from FutureShockWrestling.co.uk.

FutureShock Uproar 89 - Masonic Guildhall, Stockport 17th July 2016
ResultsÂ
In the opening match T-Bone defeated Damon Leigh by pinfall after a tomb-bone piledriver. After the match, at the urging of the FutureShock faithful, T-Bone delivered a collossal running chop to Leigh and sent him staggering away with Chris Egan.
Â
Â
Mark Massa, the one man firm from London town, was a mass of rage following his shock loss to Jenson Blake at Underground 17. His opponent, Sexy Kev, demanded to be taken seriously and fought ferociously before falling to two consecutive widowmaker slams. Afterwards, Massa yelled to anyone that would listen that he was coming for Blake.
Â
Â
Â
Former FutureShock women's champion April Davids returned to the ring in Stockport for the first time in more than two years. Her opponent, the debuting Little Miss Roxxy fought with fire and determination but was defeated by submission with the Lights Out dragon sleeper hold. After the bell Davids literally contorted Roxxy, bending her back in two with the Lights Out. Reigning Women's Champion Lana Austin made her presence felt and chased her off.
Â
Â
Adrenaline champion James Drake defended his title against "The Very Best" Sam Bailey as the latter managed to put Pokemon Go down long enough to compete. Unfortunately for Bailey he failed to capture the title as Drake utilised underhanded tactics to set up Meet Mr Mayem, his implant DDT. Soner Dursun, accompanying his tag team partner at ringside, had managed to stop Drake from using his title belt as a weapon but his presence distracted the referee. Bailey, frustrated at his lost, pushed Dursun away and walked off alone.
Â
Â
In an epic tag team encounter former FutureShock tag team champions Don Meacho and Ryan Hendricks, collectively known as the Uprising battled The New Nation, Jason Prime and Alexander Henry. The Nation were eager to make a huge impact in their debut. The Uprising were determined to take the newcomers down. In the end it was The New Nation emerging victorious in an all action back and forth battle.
Â
Â
Chris Brooker welcomed The Extraordinary Jack Gallagher to the ring to congratulate him on his participation in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and ask what the future held. Before he could answer he was interrupted by Xander Cooper who attempted to lead the Faithful in a rendition of "Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye" to a chorus of boos. Cooper demanded that Gallagher leave immediately so that he could assume the role of company ambassador and make history by becoming the first Grand Slam Champion. This brought out James Drake as the Adrenaline champion was furious at being seen as little more than a stepping stone. This then brought out Chris Egan and Cyanide as the former reminded everyone that his 400lbs monester was only one title away from holding every accolade in FutureShock. In a shock to all the massive Cyanide grabbed the mic and spoke the first time, uttering three words. Grand... Slam... Champion...
Â
Jack Gallagher spoke up and suggested that they all settle this at the Twelfth Anniversary show in a four way match for the Adrenaline Title. By the end of the night it was made official... Drake V Cyanide V Cooper V Gallagher in a four way elimination match!
Â
Â
In the main event Liverpool's Number One Zack Gibson defended his title against the mighty Rampage Brown in a truly incredible heavyweight clash. Brown battled relentlessly, even after having his arm and should dissected by the champion. He appeared to be on the verge of a huge win until Gibson suspiciously managed to lay hands on another length of chain under the ring. One steel assisted punch was just enough to put the chall
Â
Â
Former champion T-Bone hit the ring with a fifteen foot chain in his hands. On FutureShock Access he'd warned Gibson that if he liked to play with chains then he'd bring one of his own. He then revealed that he would be receiving his rematch for the FutureShock Championship on August 13th at the Twelfth Anniversary show and that it would be a STEEL CHAIN MATCH!

Trophy Tournament season is upon us once again. Once again eight men will compete to become the FutureShock Trophy holder. A trophy that guarantees them a championship match any time they see fit. Past tournament winners include Xander Cooper, T-Bone, Cyanide and current champion Zack Gibson.
Â
Speaking of former champions... Jack Gallagher would like nothing better than to bounce back from his WWE defeat by Akira Tozawa in style. A second trophy tournament win would do just that, especially if it led him back to the championship.
Â
Jack's increased visibility has brought more attention, both to Jack and FutureShock. As such Jack's opponent in the first round of the Cruiserweight Classic has been in touch. Fabian Aichner would like nothing better than to get his win back and take a step towards FutureShock gold.
Â
It was the match that stole the first round of the tournament that everyone is talking about. On October 15th it'll be the rematch everyone's talking about at Underground 19 in Prestwich.

Tickets on sale right now from www.futureshockwrestling.co.uk. First row sold out already.
