Another tremendous night at FutureShock tonight. Full results and photos to come tomorrow.Â
-
Not usually one for plugging stuff I'm involved in but this week's Tuesday Night Jaw is well worth a listen.
Jim Smallman, Matthew Taylor Richards and myself put together our individual top ten matches of all time. Rule of no more than one match per show and a wrestler can only feature once.
In amidst the wheat intolerance based cruelty and puns the show went in a few directions we didn't expect.Â
JimSmallman.com/TNJ for details of how to listen.

Absolute barnstormer between Soner Durson and Travis Banks at Futureshock Uproar tonight.

Here's the card for tomorrow afternoon. A special 4pm start time so that anybody wanting to make it to ICW at The Ritz can do so.Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Ringside seats have sold out, general admission still available from the FutureShock website.

FutureShock returns to Manchester's city centre and a brand new venue at 53Two, in the shadow of the GMex convention centre. Handy for train, tram, bus and car as well as being arguably the most atmospheric space to ever host a FutureShock event. It's going to be cosy but it's going to be fantastic.
A new venue suggests something new... FutureShock is allowing the fans to decide the challenger for Zack Gibson's FutureShock Championship in the main event.Â
Voting is open now and runs until Wednesday 13th February. Click here to have your say.
Tickets are on sale now with limited ringside seats remaining. Head to the FutureShock website to get yours.
Please note that the start time is now 4:00pm to avoid clashing with Insane Championship Wrestling's show at The Ritz. Hopefully this will allow folk that wish to attend both shows to do so. The Ritz is a five minute walk from 53Two. Something about being better off if we all work together. -
Announced so far for FutureShock Burnout, the company's debut in Accrington at the Mercure Hotel. That's taking place this coming Sunday 5th February.
Â
Â
Â
Â
Zack Gibson was due to defend his FutureShock championship at Burnout but, as seen in the latest episode of Access Aftershock he's decided to take matters into his own hands. Find out more right here.
Tickets are on sale NOW from the FutureShock website.http://futureshockwrestling.co.uk. -
Here's all the results and happenings from Uproar 92...
ÂHere's all the happenings from Uproar 92, FutureShock's first event of 2017 at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall. An absolutely incredible turnout, with the FutureShock Faithful packed into every corner of the place.ÂÂIn the opening match Sam Bailey continued his quest to prove that he's the 'Very Best' by pinning 'Screwface' Jamie Ahmed with his trademark corner bulldog. A strong showing from the newcomer though as the aggressive and focused Ahmed didn't make it easy for him.ÂÂÂTag team action next as the incredibly popular team of Jason Prime and Alexander Henry, The New Nation, took on Chris Egan's heavyweight pairing of Deadly Damon Leigh and the monstrous Cyanide. DDL struggled to maintain his cool as the Faithful spent much of the match dogging him with chicken based chants. In the end The New Nation emerged victorious after catching Leigh with their finisher. Wonderland, the FutureShock Tag Team champions made their presence felt after the bell. Melanie Price, now referring to herself as Melody, marked both members of the New Nation with streaks of black paint. What could this mean for the powerhouses from Tyneside?ÂÂÂAshton Smith closed 2016 by winning the FutureShock Trophy tournament. Heading into 2017 red hot, he found himself squaring off with another newcomer, Â Abel Stevens. Unsure initially of what to make of Stevens' flamboyant antics Smith rebounded and struck his trademark Go 2 Sleep for the victory. A very impressive showing for Abel Stevens in his debut nonetheless, very much catching the eye of the faithful.ÂÂÂMoments after the bout Ashton Smith was attacked by FutureShock Champion Zack Gibson, seemingly for no reason whatsoever. After a vicious strike to the head with the championship Ashton was taken off site to ensure his wellbeing. Presumably this was Gibson's devious plan to prevent Smith from cashing in his Trophy later in the night.ÂÂÂAdrenaline Champion Soner Durson is on a mission. The first ever, two time and current champion wants to bring prestige to a title that he feels has been let down by the two interim title holders, James Drake and Xander Cooper. As such he's asked to face the very best from across the nation and beyond. At Uproar 92 he faced an international challenge from New Zealand's Travis Banks. A high flying, hard hitting, action packed bout came to a close when the Kiwi Buzzsaw's short fuse left him distracted and vulnerable to a clever pinning combiation from the champ. Could a rematch be in order?ÂÂÂÂThe UK wrestling scene has exploded over the past few months. The bout between James Drake and Delicious Danny Hope shone a bright light on two men that have been at the forefront of this revolution. Despite frequently being outfooted and frustrated by the antics of his charismatic opponent Drake utilised his ruthless underhanded cunning and pinned Hope after his Mr Mayhem DDT.ÂÂÂTensions are mounting in the women's division. Champion Lana Austin teamed with Lil' Miss Roxxy to face newly crowned number one contender April Davids and her partner the deranged Jennie B. From the outset, it was apparent that Davids was more interested in scouting Austin than engaging in the bout, picking her moments and watching intently. In the end she watched on, almost with amusement, Â as Austin delivered a DDT to Jennie B for the victory but the champ never broke eye contact. When they clash again it's going to be epic.ÂÂÂFinally the main event... Would the new year see a new FutureShock champion crowned? Zack Gibson defended his title against the only man to pin his shoulders to the mat in years, Rampage Brown. Â "Liverpool's Number One" addressed the FutureShock Faithful before the bell. Well, he tried. As ever he was all but drowned out by jeers and cat calls, noise like we've never heard at the Guildhall. Eventually the big man from Leeds had had enough and decked him with a big boot to silence him and start the bout.ÂÂÂÂA bonafide classic, the championship match went all over the building before settling back into the ring. There it was a back and forth war, with the challengers power and ferocity pitted against the champion's cunning and technical excellence. The tide turned in the odds of Rampage which inevitably brought James Drake out to ringside to assist Gibson. An unfortunate clothesline decked the referee which allowed Drake to strike Rampage with Mr Mayhem only for the challenger to kick out!ÂÂÂWith the odds firmly stacked against him and Ashton Smith out of play it looked like Rampage Brown was hopelessly outnumbered. The FutureShock Faithful erupted as familiar music filled the Guildhall. Tyson T-Bone had returned! Storming the ring, T-Bone quickly despatched Drake with the Gypsy's Kiss headbutt and even had one for the champion. Embracing his friend, he looked set to even the score by helping Rampage become champion, even helping to set Gibson up for the piledriver.ÂÂSeconds later it all came crashing down as T-Bone nailed the unsuspecting Rampage with a superkick, a german suplex and his devastating headbutt. Draping Gibson's arm across the challenger, the tattooed terror of the trailer park headed out and left the champion to retain in tainted fashion.ÂWhat does this mean for the FutureShock Championship? Who will step up to face Zack Gibson? Why has Tyson T-Bone turned on his long time friend? Only time will tell.ÂIn the meantime Uproar 92 will soon be available via the FutureShock On Demand service as well as on DVD from futureshockwrestling.co.uk and at our events.ÂÂFutureShock returns to the Masonic Guildhall on March 12th. Tickets will be available very soon and a sell out is very likely so don't miss out. -
This Sunday FutureShock hits the Masonic Guildhall in Stockport for the first time in 2017. It's looking like a busy one so be sure to get your tickets in advance from the FutureShock website, especially if you want reserved second row seats. Front row's sold out.
Here's the card... A few new faces, titles on the line and more.Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
It's going to be a bit good. You should come along.
 -
Also my bold prediction... Xander Cooper will be on the UK's most hated heels in 2017. His current persona is deliciously loathsome and the interactions with his protege Bobby Gage are wonderful.
-
It's going to be a good one... Even if I do say so myself.
Â
Â
Â
Â

Every match has a purpose... Every match tells a tale... Tickets from the FutureShock website.

I'm sure that was done by someone on here a few years ago
That'll teach me to check the archive.

Starting my own wrestling radio show tonight. Kicks off at 11pm and runs until 1am and I'm going to be joined in the studio by Jack Gallagher.
We're going to be live on Fab Radio International so come join us if you're so inclined. -
Also announced for Underground 19 on October 15th at The Longfield Suite, Prestwich...
Â
Coming over here, taking our wrestlers... Pesky Vince.
If you're not aware that Jack Gallagher has signed with WWE and will make his debut before too long on a Monday night as part of Raw's Cruiserweight Division... Well. We just hope that the rock you're living under is in a nice garden.
No need to wish him luck. The Extraordinary Gentleman is the best wrestler in the world and it's only a matter of time before he's at the top of the business. We'll be there every step of the way. Trying to get free merchandise and kip on his couch in Orlando.
This, however, left us with something of an issue surrounding Underground 19 in Prestwich on October 15th. We were looking forward to a Cruiserweight Classic rematch as a first round bout in the 2016 FutureShock Trophy Tournament. We put our heads together and this is what we've come up with...
Fabian Aichner was eager to go toe to toe with Jack Gallagher, the man that knocked him out of the CWC in a match that many are calling the best in the first round. While we can't give him that we can give himself something else and, at the same time, give the FutureShock Faithful something else.
On Saturday 15th October Fabian Aichner will go one on one with Zack Gibson, a chance instead to prove himself against Liverpool's Number One. What's more the FutureShock Championship will be on the line.
A fearless high flying powerhouse against a man that considers it only a matter of time before he's recognised as the world's number one. This will be an epic bout.
ÂThe Top Contender Series for the FutureShock Women's championship kicked off at Uproar 90. April Davids overcame a fiery challenge from Little Miss Roxy and goes on to the triple threat final in December.
Â
Our next qualifying match takes place at Underground 19 on Saturday 18th October. A familiar face tangles with a newcomer when Futureshock Faithful favourite Violet Vendetta takes on debutante Jinny. The pin up wants back into the title hunt, the princess of couture wants to conquer new territory.
Â
Who will prevail? Find out on October 18th at the Longfield Suite in Prestwich.Â
Â
Â
Xander Cooper, the self appointed ambassador of both FutureShock and the FutureShock Faithful has been outspoken in his desire to represent us all across the globe. Outspoken in his desire to live the dreams that the humble, everyday sorts will never get a chance to experience.
We're more than happy to help the Ambassador with his request therefore we've sent the call out far and wide to find an interesting challenger for him. One that he's never faced before and one unlike anyone he's ever faced.
On October 15th Xander Cooper will put his Adrenaline Championship on the line against Pastor William Eaver. British wrestling fans will be more than familiar with his work and we can't wait to welcome him to the Longfield Suite to tangle with the Man For All Seasons.
Can he become champion? He does seem to have the big guy upstairs on his side...
Tickets available now via the FutureShock website. Ringside have long since sold out but there are a handful of reserved second row left as well as general admission. -
Here's a bit of an update going forward... It's FutureShock trophy tournament season. Previous winners of this annual festival of pugilism include Jack Gallagher, Cyanide, T-Bone and Xander Cooper, all of whom have gone on to become FutureShock champions. Current champion Zack Gibson cashed his trophy in on a beaten down T-Bone in the spring to claim the title.Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Quarter finals kick off at Underground 19 on October 15th and continue at Uproar 91 on November 13th with the semi finals and finals on the same night in December.
Â
Â
Tickets are available for both shows from the FutureShock website.

April Davids defeated Little Miss Roxxy by submission. She now advances to the triple threat match on December 10th to determine a contender for Lana Austin's championship.

Â
Â
Â
Â
The Sexy Gentlemen (Sexy Kev & John McGregor) defeated The Island Brothers (Tabu & Rio) by pinfall.
Â
Â
Â
Â
Futureshock Adrenaline Championship
Â
Champion Xander Cooper defeated Soner Dursun with a low blow and a schoolboy pin. He had previously distracted the referee by throwing one of the trainees helping at ringside into the ring.
Â
Â
Â
Â
"Delicious" Danny Hope W/Melanie price pinned Tag Team Champions Henry T. Grodd W/Noah & Oscar. Wonderland attacked Danny after the match but Joey Hayes came out to even the odds.

Â
Â
Â

Â
Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown defeated James Drake and FutureShock Champion Zack Gibson when Brown pinned Gibson after a piledriver. This would be Gibson's first loss in over a year.

Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Announced for the next Stockport show on November 13th... Main event of Rampage Brown v James Drake, two quarter final matches in the 2016 FutureShock Trophy Tournament and a Women's Championship Top Contender Series bout. Tickets are on sale now from FutureShock Wrestling's website.

Lana Austin went to war with April Davids over the FutureShock Women's championship at the twelfth anniversary show. Here's what Fighting Spirit Magazine had to say about it...
Â
"Lana Austin showed great heart and determination in overcoming the dominant, vicious April Davids with a DDT... One of the champ's best ever showings."
Lana and April came within a hair's breadth of stealing the show that night, proving that the FutureShock Championship is one of the most prestigious and storied titles in women's wrestling today.
Â
With the spotlight on the women's championship brighter than ever we need to make sure that the next challenger really has earned that opportunity. With that in mind Uproar 89 on September 18th will see the launch of the FutureShock Women's Championship Top Contender Series.
Â
Three qualifying matches will take place over the coming month and the winners of those three matches will advance to a triple threat match in December at Underground 20. The winner of that bout will become the number one contender to Lana Austin's championship. There will be familar faces, returns and possibly even a newcomer or two.
Â
We kick off the series at Uproar 89 on September 18th with a rematch... Two months ago April Davids faced off with a fiery Little Miss Roxxy. On that night Roxxy tapped to the Lights Out when the A-Bomb of the women's division contorted her almost in half. Does Roxxy have any new tricks up her sleeve? Will April have been affected by her shock loss at the Twelfth Anniversary?
Â
Find out on September 18th at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall. Tickets on sale now from futureshockwrestling.co.uk.

If you were at Fab Cafe  in Manchester for the Twelfth Anniversary premiere then you'll have witnessed the actions and behaviour of Xander Cooper. Fresh off his history making Adrenaline Championship win at the 12th Anniversary show he was full of confidence as he addressed the FutureShock Faithful. The self-proclaimed company ambassador was outspoken in his desire to live the dreams that those watching could not.
ÂIt was at this point that FutureShock management's message was relayed to him. The message was that The Ambassador would have an opportunity to defend his title against the first Adrenaline champion. A man that was never pinned for the title, a man that has never recieved a rematch for the title and a man that holds a key victory over Xander Cooper.
ÂOn September 18th in Stockport at the Masonic Guildhall it will be Xander Cooper verses Soner Dursun. Will this be the shortest Adrenaline Championship reign to date or will the champ take the gold back to his embassy?
ÂBe there to find out. Tickets on sale now from futureshockwrestling.co.uk.

Zack Gibson is on Tuesday Night Jaw and is absolutely brilliant, laugh out loud funny and a great story teller. His adventures in China especially got me.
-
Two more matches announced for Uproar 90 on Sunday September 18th.
Â
The Sexy Gents, the team of Sexy Kev and Gentleman John McGregor fought their hearts out in the tag team championship gauntlet match but the odds were against them. At Uproar 90 they'll get a chance to regroup against a team that would no doubt love to be in contention for the titles themselves. They are Taboo and Rio, collectively known as The Island Brothers. Savage but not savages, they'll be a stern test for one of FutureShock's most popular units.Â
Â
Speaking of the tag division... Wonderland are now officially the FutureShock tag team champions. This didn't sit well with the former champs. Hence The Models made their return after the gauntlet and made it abundantly clear that they want back in the hunt. At Uproar 90 it will be one half of each team in singles competition as Delicious Danny Hope faces Henry T.Grodd.
Â
Tickets are on sale now. Ringside sold out but limited reserved second row available as well as general admission.

Something a bit different... On Monday 3rd September we'll be screening the DVD of our Twelfth Anniversary Show at FAB Cafe in Manchester. It's £3 with all the ticket money going to community charity Forever Manchester. A chance to have a drink, meet the FutureShock guys and fellow fans in one of the most laid back places you could imagine.
Tickets on sale right here. Limited number available as we're aiming for a cosy night.

Both of the superb show stealing efforts between Soner Durson and Travis Banks over the FutureShock Adrenaline Championship have now been uploaded in full and for free to the promotion's YouTube channel. Last night's blinder against Flash Morgan Webster will follow in due time.
