  1. I've thought this whole Orton in the Wyatts thing was that Orton has only been playing along to bring them down from the inside, but maybe it has gone on a little to long for that to be the case now.

Too much coincidence involved for that to be the payoff too. Orton happened to win the Rumble and Bray happens to win the title.

  2. Is it predictable though? Nothing in their field had been predictable at the minute.

Goldberg beating Brick again and it just sending Brock over the edge and coming to kill everything in his path to try and prove he's still the monster he claims to be could work.

In theory, Brock losing again, work make him more dangerous than a win. Cocky Brock with the title is fine, but would you want to step in the ring with a Lesnar than has just been embarrassed again?

  3. When in 1993 was Hogan vs Bret supposed to happen? You'd assume either King Of The Ring or SummerSlam but then where would Yokozuna have fit into their plans then? It seemed like they were always planning to push Yoko as the monster heel. I guess they still could have gone with Stars & Stripes Lex Luger vs Yoko underneath Hogan vs Bret, but I always assumed they only turned Luger because Hogan fucked off.

Summerslam apparently. I think the rumour was that Hogan refused to put Bret over, so plans changed.

  4. Yeh in hindsight i would watch Slaughter over Warrior, at the time as a kid though Slaughter just looked ancient. Then to make him look even worse they teamed him up with Mustafa! The Triangle of Terror.

everyone looked ancient in the 80's/early 90's. Hogan, Slaughter, Earthquake, Studd, Duggan, Dibiase, Valentine, Bravo, Savage. Most of which were younger than Cena or Triple H are now, Earthquake being the best example as he would have been around 15 years younger than Cena is now at his peak 90/91 run.

  5. Do you mean that they are bonafide main eventers in NXT or would be on the main roster? Because I think only Roode would make his way into the main event picture at the minute. Possibly Joe depending on how he was portrayed, but Nakamura is a long way off main eventing on the main roster. Nothing against him at all, but no way would he be anywhere near the main event if he was brought up.

  6. I've just had a conversation where I've fully justified and explained James Ellsworth winning the Royal Rumble and what would happen leading up to WrestleMania.

I'd imagine the inevitable elimination of Ellsworth by Braun Strowman should be interesting at least.

  7. Calling it that Bobby Roode will win the Rumble. Its the best chance that a new face has ever had to win it. Maybe lack of star power or the fact there are now two champions again, but him coming in at number 1 or 2 and going on to win the thing and challenging whoever the face champion is by Mania could work. An undercard of Cena/Taker, Goldberg/Brock etc... would help sell it and make a star out of Roode straight away.

So yeah, Cena will probably win it

  8.

You're right, I'm from the straight scene. I'm sure you can find a polari translator for you though.

Oh thought you was using gay lingo, and without looking properly thought that was a picture of Kylie!

Maybe me and you should go for a pint sometime to shag a few birds and twat a few geezers

    Is Keith being groomed???

  9. I would love Bobby Roode to be a surprise entrant and win it. Get a bit of shock facter back. It's my favourite event of the year, but the winner has been obvious for ages now. Cena's was the last time I didnt predict the winner.

Although Santino nearly winning was great and completely unexpected

  10. Thing is...is Reigns a face at the minute? He's not particularly acting like one and he doesn't get the reactions of a blue eye so is this just their lame attempt at a tweener?

I don't know, but it's wank either way because Reigns is obviously great and they need to sort something quick because if he's going to be around for the next 10 years, he's going to become stale really quickly.

  11. His last Tna finish would be too similar to the AA for WWEs liking. The fisherman's suplex would be good but possibly too much of a babyface move.

The RR spinebuster could have worked if it hadn't been used to death.

But yes, he needs something other than the pump handle. It's a bit late nineties cookie cutter for me.
