When in 1993 was Hogan vs Bret supposed to happen? You'd assume either King Of The Ring or SummerSlam but then where would Yokozuna have fit into their plans then? It seemed like they were always planning to push Yoko as the monster heel. I guess they still could have gone with Stars & Stripes Lex Luger vs Yoko underneath Hogan vs Bret, but I always assumed they only turned Luger because Hogan fucked off.

I think a more likely scenario would be a women's rumble on Raw to set up Barley vs Charlotte at the RR PPV.

I watched this year's rumble last night and when Owens comes out, limping from the match earlier with his music playing he looked like a proper hard, do anything to win, fuck my body sort of bloke that would have been great with the main belt.

everyone looked ancient in the 80's/early 90's. Hogan, Slaughter, Earthquake, Studd, Duggan, Dibiase, Valentine, Bravo, Savage. Most of which were younger than Cena or Triple H are now, Earthquake being the best example as he would have been around 15 years younger than Cena is now at his peak 90/91 run.

Do you mean that they are bonafide main eventers in NXT or would be on the main roster? Because I think only Roode would make his way into the main event picture at the minute. Possibly Joe depending on how he was portrayed, but Nakamura is a long way off main eventing on the main roster. Nothing against him at all, but no way would he be anywhere near the main event if he was brought up.

Calling it that Bobby Roode will win the Rumble. Its the best chance that a new face has ever had to win it. Maybe lack of star power or the fact there are now two champions again, but him coming in at number 1 or 2 and going on to win the thing and challenging whoever the face champion is by Mania could work. An undercard of Cena/Taker, Goldberg/Brock etc... would help sell it and make a star out of Roode straight away.

So yeah, Cena will probably win it

Rollins Vs Owens has no intrigue at all for me at the minute, so I'm all for Sash/Charlotte having the last match spot. They have enough between them to put the match of the night on and hopefully, this will be the last match between them for quite a while now.
