So I got a baseball jersey. Went for large and strangely wondered if I could have gotten a medium, it's huge. Quite interesting fit, not unflatteringly big but plenty of space for a bit to thick jumper/hoody in Autumn. I have a couple of base layers anyway. Cost £50 from JD.
Edit no reason for the team, I just kind of liked the look.
Mate
Did you get that in store?

She is beautiful @SuperBacon

I was amazed that the WWE did that profile on Adrian Street a wee while ago.
The gimmick wouldn't work now but did then and as Adrian pointed out he never said that he was gay.
I'm going to buy a pint and a whisky later to toast the man. Even though he made it to 82 this has upset me; just as Mick McManus' passing did.
Early November will see me turn fifty and one of the reasons I'm a bit different is that I have loads of memories from Summer of 1976 onwards. One of them was Adrian Street.

An incredibly talented man.
Miss Linda was even braver to be his manager.
One of my favourite wrestler music videos.

Anyhow I consider myself to be a mild to moderate pervert; not one who spunks thirty five grand away on Grumble.

Absolutely. Speculation does noone any good. Apologies to Mr Nolan and anyone offended by my repetition of other social media rumours that have proven to be unfounded
Thanks
This wasn't a dig at you but a general point.
Take careÂ

All the names I'd suspected are denying it. Had heard suggestions it's Stephan NolanÂ
Any chance you will retract your allegation now?

Don't make much sense to quote the post though.
Also general warning to everyone to knock off the stupid "I heard..." and other posts that are pure speculation
Absolutely.
We're better than that; despite our differences and flaws.
There is a still visable post naming someone.
Without mentioning his name this man is currently active on both Twitter and Facebook.
He had tweeted about how his own show (he is on holiday) will return to Radio Ulster on Monday, July 17th then Radio Five Live on Friday, July 21st.Â
Furthermore this man posted a link to his own show where criticism of the BBCs investigation was discussed.
So I guess we only have a week to wait before there is a shred of evidence to be adduced.
Finally; not here, but there has been a stench of homophobia around this. Rylan Clarke being the best example. It's exactly the same as the reactions to Cliff Richard and Paul Gamboccini (both of whom received compensation and apologies) which was p##f = likes kids = must be guilty.
Apologies if this is seen as a rant.

The Daily Mail has just reported that the presenter phoned the accuser after this broke and that said accuser is female.
The report later went onto say male TV presenter.

It'll probably be some local BBC radio presenter that no one has ever heard of.
The BBC did a news programme this morning which mentioned "on s six figure salary" so likely not.

Well, that's another era ended. Definitely one of those artists you could not imagine the world being without.
Saw a concert of hers in the Netherlands on a cable channel recently; she was in her 70s, and still pulling out the same moves she was in her 20s and 30s. Superhuman performer.
Agreed 100%.
Rest In Peace you beautiful Lady.

So, tomorrow night on C4 at 9:00 is a new series called Scared of the Dark, with Paul Gasgoine, and at exactly the same time on ITV is a documentary called The Hunt for Raul Moat. Â Bad or genius planning?
How Scottish football journalism works:
Â
On this show
Paul Gasgoine admits that after meeting Thatcher for the first time at an event in Downing Street that he committed a sex act on himself.
Â
Daily Record online headline:
Outrage after Chris Eubank makes drinking dig at Paul Gasgoine.

I hate the term "woke".
Firstly it means NOTHING at all. It used to have some meaning (awareness of injustice and inequality etc) but as with most things it has been hijacked by the right and turned into some sort of insult. The problem is that the right are wonderful at doing this shit, much better than the left that always seems to be one step behind when it comes to spinning a narrative (I say this as a liberal).
When I hear anyone saying it I replace "woke" with "Hi, I'm a raging racist/misogynist/homophobe et al". It is annoying because questioning a narrative isn't a problem in itself, but the word just negates any argument a person may have. It is in the same canon as "Brexit means Brexit", "politic correctness gone mad!", "I'm not racist but..." and "take back control".Â
A cursory look at GB "News" makes my heart sink and I despair at where we are nowadays. "Woke Watch" and other BS pieces.Â
We need a nuance conversation where people learn that they haven't got the monopoly on the truth, that there is nuance and at the same time that maybe people need to stop taking everything so damn personally. This good/bad, right/wrong nonsense is eroding conversation and its so harmful.Â
I've also noticed a nasty reintroduction of the phrase Autistic as an insult by right wing posters on certain newspaper or football sites.

I always thought Paul O'Grady was funny whether himself or Lilly Savage.
He was a perfect match for Blankety Blank given that he was following Terry Wogan and Les Dawson.
A lifelong animal rights campaigner who openly showed his hatred of any form.of abuse.
Now, after his death, it has been revealed that he insisted jobs on any of his shows were advertised in Job Centres so to give others the opportunities he had been afforded.
That is a fucking hero in my eyes.
Rest In Peace Paul O'Grady. -
What a beautiful post Frankie.
Thank you

Just now.
Ken Bruce has signed off his final BBC Radio 2 show with The Beatles Golden Slumber.

It was after a Hart family documentary where at least one of his sons boasted about Stu stretching them - HIS OWN FUCKING KIDS - until the blood vessels in their eyes partially ruptured.
The comment was " He should be in jail"".
Legend? Yes.
An abuser of humans. Also yesÂ
Who the fuck does that?
