  1. Lloyd Russel-Moyle bottled it. If you know the statement you're going to make is going to have to be withdrawn but you say it anyway, then you go all the way until you're withdrawn from the house.

Don't come across all Dennis Skinner one minute, but apologies to the sniveling Tory Cunts the next.

Fat Alex and the Tories treatment of the SNP is fucking atrocious, they should have been called up on their behaviour to a whole party, but especially Blackford years ago, but they're getting worse, really shows what type of person they are.

Is it some long term plan for them to try and do away with all the restrictions? Or for them to try and clamp down even more?

He'll want to appease the back benchers, Operation Red Meat and all that, and scrapping all restrictions or guidance will be the way to do that.

  3. I'm Labour, I'm just of the position if you work for a country, the country should work for you, and Labour are the one party that hold that position.

However last three Elections I voted Lib Dem in an effort to rid a tory of their seat, and tactically Lib Dem was the better option.

  4. Rishi Sunak was the apparent favorite to be the next leader of the Scum.

He's fucked that notion with his party to celebrate the budget though.

No way will they hold a snap election either, they're on the ropes, they'll keep it held back for as long as necessary, or until pics of Keir Starmer wearing a Christmas Cracker hat whilst snorting coke of Angela Rayner's tits emerge.

  5. Oasis were alright, if Masterplan or Whatever comes on, I'll crank them up. Everything else is listenable.

But why I love them a little is not for their music, but for what they did for me. They made me take note of music in my teens, they made me explore British bands and delve into my dad's music collection for myself and not just listen to what he was playing, and my sisters collection for The Pixies, Stone Roses and others that had JUST passed me by. I adored Ocean Colour Scene, mainly for Craddock's guitar playing. I played Gomez non stop for months. But more importantly it was potentially the reason I picked up a guitar for myself, defo why I had an Epiphone Casino from 16 till 23.

Ironically Oasis are Cigarettes and Alcohol, a gateway drug to better and more hard hitting bands.

Edit: They became shit the moment OK Computer landed and everyone heard talented grown up music.

  6. Ragnick is obviously the Godfather of the Gegenpress in Germany, but there's no way he's going to instill that style on United in such a short period of time.

It feels an odd appointment. Which leads me to believe there must be some form of plan for the next manager. And for me it must evolve into ten Hag and United trying something new. It's the experiment Liverpool grasped at with Klopp, and I think ten Hag with Ragnick as Sport Director could work if given time, Ole was, so they need to commit to whatever direction they appear to be going.

    Cameron Borthwick-Jackson

He came to Wolves on loan after his breakthrough season and every Wolves fan I know including myself was excited by the prospect.

He went on to do absolutely nothing, what little he played he was awful and put no effort in at any stage, he apparently was atrocious in training and the main stories circulating Molineux were generally about his attitude being disgraceful.

  8. I hope there's never a cross over nor even another mention of the Eternals again in the MCU.

A failed experiment in my opinion, that money and timewould have been better spent on The Fantastic Four ensemble cast.

Only time I think they may be worth a shout if they were to come back would be something gargantuan like Galactus. But then I'd really just want main characters defeating him.

Eternals was an attempt to get legs out of a weaker Marvel group, it worked with Guardians because it wasn't taken seriously and was fun. Eternals were up their own arses for the most part and if I want a group in space themed Marvel film, I'll look for Guardians or some Thor shenanigans before ever going back to these dolts.

This has blown my mind! I do this too but never made the connection because I only roll the roach end.

I used to tap the flitered end on the back of my left hand to pack the tobacco in tighter. I still hit my index, middle finger and thumb on the back of my hand as if doing this.

The physical rolling of a cigarette is actually the main thing I miss, I had a rhythm and order to it, I pretty much hit a perfect ciggy each time. I miss the setting out of my pouch, papers and filters and going to work. The actual nicotine addiction has never really bothered me. I went to a work place I'd not been to for years, spent 5 minutes there and my mind turned to walking round the back for a smoke. Nothing to do with nicotine, just that's what my brain tells me I should be doing there.

Get over those habits, and you beat smoking.

Right, I've had enough of smoking. I don't enjoy it anymore and its annoying me.

This is all you need, keep that thought in your head and fucking go for it.

I started smoking bits and pieces at 12, started proper smoking, as in 'had to' at 15. And I gave up coming up to 4 years ago after 20 plus years. I told no one I was doing it so less pressure, and I just stopped with EXACTLY that thought you have. I had pangs and cravings for about a month, but I'd just tell myself I'd had enough of it. And I did it.

Massive believer you need to want to stop to actually stop. My previous attempts were always to appease other people, the time it worked was because it was for me.

Still find my fingers fiddling with nothing for no reason like how I'll catch myself rolling imaginary fags from time to time, that 'pantomime' was the hardest to break. But I in no way miss it or need it.

  11. With wife and children away at a Friend's fest this weekend, I went on a catch up binge.

Finally caught up with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which I thought was pretty shit.

Watched Shang-Chi on Disney+ and thought it was epic and wish I'd gone to the pictures to watch it, made me all happy. Similar to how Ant-Man (I'm an Ant-Man fan) makes me feel. Just good fun Marvel magic with little to no pretention.

Alas, same can't be said for Eternals. Yeesh, there's almost 3 hours of my life I'll never get back, I'll give them managing to portray the passage of time, I thought it had gone on for 3 days. Most exciting part was the post credit scene, and the film would have been an absolute dud without Karun lifting moods and providing some touching moments. Fella who played Druig was decent too. I think it's the worst Marvel film to date.

I went to pretty much all my games during the 80s and early 90s when all goals were three yard tap-ins after a goalmouth scramble. But this was great in person, as was the whole match.

As massive a Wolves fan as I have been since I can remember, watching Prem and CL football was always akin to watching Serie A on Channel 4 for me. So distant was the gap in quality. And during that time the one player I absolutely adored was Lee Sharpe, always thought Graham Taylor was a knobhead for playing him at Left Back. Such an underrated talent.
