Not heard of those one's will have to see if I can find them online somewhere

They are al available on your usual friendly neighbourhood torrent trackers...

Edit: Keep an eye out for "Beware the Moon" about American Warewolf in London. It's a bit older, but a good watch...

More Brains is great too if you haven't seen that

Yes, I like that one too! Arrow/Scream Factory have done some brilliant retrospectives. There is a Night of the Demon's one, and a couple focusing on various House franchise movies that are decent too....

Just battered through all 4+ hours of In Search of Darkness Part II. Anyone else seen it? It's on Shudder, by the way.

I love horror documentaries, but I struggle to get through the 2 ISoD. It's such a great idea and subject, but I felt they are so badly executed. Maybe it's too big a scope to cover the entirety of the 80's horror genre?

Things like Crystal Lake Memories, Never Sleep Again and You're So Cool Brewster are so much better, more in-depth and can keep my attention from start to finish...

  4. That was as good as a wrestling show as I've seen in many a year. The Tag titles match was great, and I loved the Bucks taking the piss out the 80's Rock n Roll Express schtick.

The Rhodes/Agogo mach has me scratching my head, though. the match itself was probably as good as it could have been with Agogo, but the booking was so off. Why would you feed someone with so much upside and potential to Rhodes so early in his career and kill off any heat he has been able to build up? Maybe he wasn't ready for a win that big, but in that case why book it in the first place? It wont be long until Rhodes is getting the infamous X-Pac heat...

  5. I really think AEW missed a bit of a trick with the wanky Rhodes/Ogogo weigh in. You had Paul Wight there, a bloke who was known for his 'Knock-out Punch" and a lad in Ogogo, who's punching ability they are trying to get over big. Why not have him spark Wight out with one punch? You would instantly get over the punch, and it wouldn't hurt Wight's image at all...

  6. I'm really starting to love Agogo's anti-american thing. It's got a real likeness to Bret Hart's in the WWF where he was face everywhere but the 'States, where everything he knocks the Americans for is actually true. With a full crowd in tonight, I can only imagine the heat he is going to generate.

Hopefully he has the wrestling down like he has his character down, as he could be a breakout star this year...

Volvo's are the perfect car really. My wife has a V40 and adores it. I would love a fully electric XC60.

Fuel efficient as well. I drove the V40 to Portugal and I filled it up 3 times.

I had a V40 R-design a few cars ago, and really liked it but it felt a bit "aged" if that makes sense. It had the telephone keypad style buttons on the middle console and the technology felt like it was a generation behind everything else. It was great to drive though and I'll be going back to Volvo if I stay with the fossil fuels...

XC90 is our frontrunner at the moment. Want to go check one out this weekend if possible..

Oh, the XC90 is an amazing car! Not far off perfect, in my opinion. I just couldn't justify the costs involved or I would have one like a shot.

I wouldn't mind the VW Tiguan, I've had a Polo and a Golf and they were both great cars. Husband is less keen.

I've got the Tiguan Allspace at the minute, and had the last generation 5 seat Tiguan before it. Beautiful car to drive and loaded as far as gadgets and toys go. It's really thirsty though. I know it's a 2l turbo diesel, but I've had the same size engine in other cars in the past and even on short runs they were respectable on fuel .

I'm 95% going electric next time, but if I get cold feet and stick with the fossil fuels, I think I'll go for a Volvo XC40. I fancy something a bit more premium, and there Volvo's don't seem to be as omnipresent as all the German marques...

That's great if you want to do that, but what exactly is it that you think you need to 'get used to'?

Driving the thing in the first instance. The fact there is no gears and the instant acceleration for a start. Then getting into the habit of putting it on charge every time I park up and also into the habit of working out where the chargers are on a journey.

  11. I think I'm going to be going full electric next when I swap my car next April-ish. Got a big diesel 7-seater at the minute, but since I split with the ex it's way too big for just me and and working from home it's hardly getting used(We used to go to the caravan every weekend with 3 kids, us two and my mother so we needed the seats at the time). I'm thinking I'll be fine 99% of the time just topping it up with the charger at home and if I do have to go a bit further on a run, I'll just plan the trip around motorway services that have chargers.

Way I see it, fossil fuel cars are going to be fully sacked off soon anyway(although I don't think it will be as soon as the government are wanting), so if I can make the swap now and get used to it, I might as well...

  12. Thinking back now, I don't know where I got Mutu from to be honest. Maybe I was thinking of someone else(that's happening lately thanks to some medication I'm on, and is ver disconcerting).

My point does still stand though. In Kane, you're getting a player that is as nailed on be in the top couple of scorers in the league each year. Haaland probably would too, but until he gets here nobody knows for sure.

  13. 2 hours ago, Devon Malcolm said:

Kane will depend on City wanting him. He's not choosing United over City if the latter go for him, unless he really is as stupid as is commonly believed. But if you're City, do you go for him and risk missing Haaland next year, presuming reports are correct and he's definitely not moving this summer. Because I can't see him at anywhere other than City, with his dad's history especially.

United's priority has to be at least one central midfielder. Fred is fucking shit. McTominay can be left to doing tackling if they put someone good next to him. Then a centre back next, then a forward.

I think City would be daft not to go for Kane. Haaland is a fantastic player, but we don't know how he will do in the Premier League. I mean, look at all the "world class" talent that has come over with huge transfer fees and reputations and failed miserably. Veron, Robinho, Shevchenko, Adrian Mutu. All came over ad did fuck all when you would think they would tear the league up. With Kane, you know he's going to get past the 20 goal mark consistently.

Thinking about that City team with either Kane or Haaland up top is terrifying. They have won this years title at a canter, and that is with a top scorer with "only' 13 goals. They may be near on unbeatable with a prolific striker again...

Fine if you were built like Cannavaro, not so much for Dave 56, from Enfield who lives on a diet of beer and kebabs. They were INCREDIBLY tight.

Here's a photo of 20yo arsehole me modelling the away one having just landed for Benicassim 05. Fashionable as always.

I had the white one, but that was back when I could eat what I wanted and not put a single pound on. I'd look a right state in it these days though...

  15. Despite the disappointment of losing in the play-offs, it's been one of the 3 or 4 best seasons I've had as a Barnsley supporter in over 30 years. To go from staying up last year with the final kick of the final game to finishing 5th and breaking club record after club record was a fantastic achievement.

I'm now just praying we don't do a Barnsley and sell the spine of the team for a pittance, and give the gaffer an excuse to move on(he's already linked with West Brom). Hopefully the owners will see how close we've come this year with very little investment, and actually speculate a bit to add that little bit of quality we have been missing. There was numerous times this season where we needed that one player who can turn a game on it's head with a bit of magic, just like Andre Ayew and Grimes did for Swansea in the play-offs.

But overall, I'd have to give this campaign a B+.

They said the third series was the last. It was pretty obvious by the final episode.

I think I was asking in hope. If that is all they are doing, at least it was nicely wrapped up...

Sorry to hear about the split chap.

Yeah it turned into one of those, who has played for a, b, c etc and I finally twigged it.

To be fair, it's only to respect his privacy I'm not open about exactly who he is. It's not like he's a big name or anything, but I always think it's better to err of the side of caution. If someone us able to work it out, then fair enough, I say...`

  18. I watched most of Motherland series 3 late last week. It's still a great show, but I don't think it was as good as the first couple.

Has anyone heard anything about a 4th series of "Mum"? I properly fell in love with that and would love to see more of it...

Is he playing in the Championship next year by any chance?

Weird sounding I realise but based off your clues you've given over the years I think I've finally worked out who it is.

He will, yes. Or at least the team will. Not sure what his contract situation is off the top of my head, and haven't spoken to him much since I split from his sister last year.

I don't think so. I don't go to the Lincoln games as I am not a fan, I just live near Lincoln.  The last time I went was when Millwall played there, the last time Lincoln were in this league. As an away fan I can tell you that the air raid siren was fucking annoying.

I thought it was hilarious. It wasn't that actual siren that got me, but the way it wound "down" after the corner came to nothing like it was disappointed at the anti-climax. It used to really tickle me...
