  1. I must say I don't find it cold or anything. Like I say though, i've got used to doing it now so maybe we're just immune to it. Never really thought about how weird people might think it is before, this thread has actually been an eye opener

Sorry to bring you down to my level. Hold me. :(

Anyway, it's only cold for the briefest of brief seconds.

 Well at least we have someone to share the shame with, i'd hate to think about you going through it alone!

  3. What were the original plans for Scott Steiner when he came in? Was he meant to win the World Title originally? Even though he turned out shit at the Rumble etc, I doubt the original plan called for him to lose two consecutive title matches on PPV and then not even appear on WrestleMania. Or maybe they were?!

  4. I'll ask here rather than clog up the thread, and i wouldn't normally ask but does anyone know of a reliable place to stream bound for glory tonight? I don't mind paying a little if I know it'll 100% work. I looked into buying it on the TNA website but its only available to the us and Canada which us stupid/annoying.

Cheers for any help in advance!

Wrestleyourway.com is reliable I think its a $5 fee. But they have WWE/TNA/UFC/STRIKEFORCE etc on streams. All are good quality too. They also stream many footy games

    Or you could try:-

    http://forum.wiziwig.eu/forums/48-Boxing-Fighting

    http://streamhunter.tv

Try them near the start time. Don't pay for streaming sites, they're not worth it.

Cheers lads. Yeah I know what you mean about the paying part, but I thought if the only way to get a 100% reliable stream was to pay a little, then so be it like.

Will check them all out later

  6. Right so I know we've got some wCw nuts on here, I've never really watched wCw, but I want to buy some season sets. Im thinking of starting with 1996, but im not sure, I loved the attitude era WWF, from around 1998, stuff before that I didnt really like, so would WCW 1996 work for me or should I start a bit later, maybe 98?

  7. Just recently started watching HOUSE.

Can't believe i've not seen it earlier, absolutely love it. Have only watched Season One so far, but i've already ordered the DVD's for the next few seasons. Watched Season 1 in about 4 days I got into it that much.

I was a bit concerned at first that every episode was 'samey', but the character development keeps it ticking over, Hugh Laurie is just sensational, really enjoying his character. The detox episode and the one where he went on a monster truck date were my favourite's I think seeing how his character showed in them two.

Any one else a fan? Assume there's a lot better to come in the later seasons?

  8. Getting well pumped for this now. Absolutely love Haye, his attitude is right up my street, love his cockyness. Don't know an awful lot about boxing, I just realy like Haye so that sells the fight to me.

Still not sure he can do it tho, I'm losing confidence as the night goes on. We shall see.

  9. What time we expecting the fight to actually start tonight? Don't want to drink too quickly an pass out by fight time or something. Haye/Harrison was about 10 wasn't it, will it be around that time again?

  10. Not seen RAW, so no spoilers obviously, but I notice the discussion thread has 5 pages already, which is very rare these days, did something rather newsworthy go down? Again don't say what but just interested to know whether it'll be something worth watching etc.

  11. Does anyone know where The Undertaker/Big Show alliance thing was going before Taker got injured in 99? Taker keeps alluding to when Shows ready the masterplan will be revealed etc?

Also sticking with 1999, was a match between HBK and The Rock ever pencilled in? Just watched the SD! where HBK cost Rock the title but after that episode his appearances start to dwindle down a lot (i assume this was where he had 'demons' again) but seems a pretty big event if it wasnt planned to go somewhere, im thinking WrestleMania 2000 maybe.

  12. Thats the one mate cheers. Looked at youtube for a while and couldn't find it at all

Was weird how it just got stuck on as a seemingly throwaway match, could have made a bigger deal out of it IMO, would probably of been better than the awful Undertaker/Hogan match around that time.

  13. I think in 2002 when Hogan came back, he had a match with Ric Flair on RAW? Am I imagining this or did it actually happen? Im not sure if it was for the Undisputed Title, but i think it wasnt even the main event on the show.

Anyone have a link to the match at all and maybe the build up? From what I remember though, there wasnt much build up and the match just sorta happened..

  14. Yeah because Madison beat Tara in a match a few months ago where if Tara lost she had to leave TNA. So then Madison brought her back under the order that she'd help Madison and do everything she said etc, which she did willingly until recently.

  15. Does anyone know if Extreme Rules is going to be free on Sky Sports, or it on Box Office?

It's on Sky Box Office, advertised on the WWE page on Sky Sports at the moment. Annoying but i'll still end up buying it.

  16. I actually came in here to find out about the Virgin/Wrestlemania situation. How have people gone about getting money back if they missed the first hour? Also, how many people has this actually happened to and is there a way of avoiding it somehow?

For WrestleMania 23 and 24, that didnt come on at all, we just phoned up and they were aware of the problem and we watched the replays for free.

WrestleMania 26 last year was also a known problem, it worked fine for me, but i think it was mainly the West Midlands where it wouldnt come on for the first hour. You just simply ring them the next day when it happens, they never usually kick up a fuss about refunding/not charging etc.

Theres no way of avoiding it, WrestleMania 25 came on perfectly, as did last years for me, i did have to restart my box to get it though at one point, but really if there ends up being a fault in your area it won't work no matter what you do.

Like i say, the last 2 WrestleMania's have come on fine for me, so touch wood they've sorted the problems now...in saying that lets just hope the ads come uo for it on Monday and they do actually show it this year!

  17. Sorry if this has been asked before, but will Virgin be broadcasting Wrestlemania this year? I usually watch it at home on sky but my sky has been playing up so am hoping to watch it at a friends house on virgin but we can't find anything to confirm that it's being shown. Anyone know for definite yay or nay?

Yep, Live the same as Sky. You only get repeats all day on Monday though.

Thanks Phenom, does it show up on the on demand listings the week before, same as sky?

Yeah, but you can't actually order it until the actual Sunday. It can be a pain, but at least they carry it I suppose.

Thank you, at least I don't have to worry about getting the sky fixed before then.

Be careful with Virgin Media lads. Last year, they didn't start showing the event until 45 minutes in. Virgin viewers last year missed the opener, the Orton triple threat match and all but the last 5 minutes of MITB.

Aye, it came on at midnight for most people, but not everyone on Virgin.

And, im not so sure Virgin are going to show WrestleMania, on the Live Events Channel it's not advertising anything, and they usually have the event information up weeks before the actual show, Mania is only 12 days away and it's not even advertising on there yet, Royal Rumble was advertised like a month in advance. Also when you go to more on demand and click future events it doesnt advertise anything there either.

Got a bad feeling about this one.

I just contacted them, they said they ARE showing it. If they decide to take the money, and then not show it, it won't be the first time either though :(

Still nothing on the Live Events channel or anything, only 9 days away now, it always comes up at least 3 weeks in advance, and its usually always on the future events thing on More On Demand too, they havent got a clue when you call them usually what WrestleMania even is, last year I was told it's a boxing event starting at 2 o clock in the afternoon by one of their customer service people. Im really starting to think we're not getting it. Annoying.
