  1. Who would everyone like to see a book written by that hasn't been done yet?

I'd love to see a proper one from Triple H. His fitness one was weird, and a proper autobiograhy I imagine would be awesome. Would love to hear his thoughts on his run from 1999 and The McMahon Helmsley era, plus his views on his run in 2003 and all that.

Another one which might be difficult, is The Undertaker. Probably have to be quite a while after he;s retired as it would obviously 'ruin the mystique' of his character, but i reckon it'd be good. Of course with his character as it is, we may never get a book from him, but we can hope.

  2. How come they use White ring ropes for RAW? I know it's only a little thing but I much prefer the red ropes, and they are associated with RAW, so seems odd they now use shitty White ones. The red ropes still appear on PPVs now and again but not RAW :(

  3. I wouldnt be suprised if we only see Undertaker tonight, then they save the Triple H return, if he is coming back, for next week. Maybe have HBK show up on RAW tonight and confront The Undertaker saying he couldnt end the streak, but he has someone who can, and they'll be here next week.

That way they still have another 'suprise' return, making it 3 in a row on RAW, and you don;t overload tonights RAW with both Taker and Triple H coming back, they each get their own return.

Though if it turns out to be Sting as well tonight, then I doubt Triple H is coming back at all.

I wouldn't be shocked if Taker came back to close the show, then the lights go out and when they turn them on he's on the deck. Leads us nicely into next weeks show.

Yeah thats not a bad idea actually. Still leaves a lot of intrigue and speculation over who it could be, rather than HBK coming in and saying it, making it obvious it'd be Triple H. Only 6 weeks till WrestleMania though so maybe they will do it all tonight.

  5. Hmm, so it seems The Undertaker/Triple H match is being considered as a Career vs. Streak match too. That would be gutting for me, in so much as it would mean Triple H is definently finishing his career. I assumed he'd come back and have a decent run for a bit, but to just come in for 6 weeks, lose at WrestleMania, and have to retire. Makes Triple H look a bit shit if that is the case. ''Oh im back....6 weeks late '' oh no im retired now, bye.''

  6. Whilst it definently sounds like Taker v Triple H, it'd be a bit strange for Triple H to make his big return and then lose at the big ppv cuz there's no way he ll win.

Just throwing it out there, but with Shawn being involved what about Undertaker vs Diesel with Shawn as ref? Long shot admittedly but you never know.

Would love to see Undertaker v Triple H though. One of the huge matches they have that doesn't feel like it's been done to death.

  7. Always loved FSM and still do, buy it every month....is it perfect, no offcourse not but aside from the typo's i never really found anything to really moan about, sure some periods where better than others but there have always been enough good articles in it to warrant the purchase for me.

I just hope they keep it this way and don't add more mma stuff since i couldn't care less for mma so i guess the mma part of fsm is my biggest issue cause i just don't care about it lol, but i don't blame fsm,mma is popular and a lot of people seems to be into it so it's nice that they give it coverage, as long as it doesnt start be more about mma then pro wrestling i'm fine....theres enough dedicated mma magazines out there so fsm doesn't need to follow suit imo.

But so far everything is fine.

Yeah this is my worry too. Im not really into MMA either, so would hate to see the mag overtook by it. Like you I understand why it's included, but like you say there is dedicated MMA magazines out there. But if its kept as it is at the minute im all for it.

  8. There's a bit where the figure goes up the stairs and it flashes to reveal something on the wall, anyone notice it? With my blinkered eyes on it kinda looks like the outline of a crow, but it could be anything. It definently flashes and focuses on that part of the wall though so I think it has to mean something.

I've never really liked Sting so I wouldnt be that fussed about him coming, Im more bothered about Triple H coming back, because if this bloke comes on the RAW after Elimination Chamber then it's highly unlikely Triple H will come back then as well, so it doesnt leave alot of time for Trips, assuming he doesnt come back before Elimination Chamber of course.

  9. I'm 99% sure I saw something during one of last week's WWE shows to suggest that they were repeating Wrestlemania on one of the Sky Sports channels some time this week, but I can't find it anywhere on the EPG or on the Sky Sports website.

So my questions are a) did I dream it, and b) if not, when is/was it on?

Was advertised again on the RAW repeat last nights. It's next Thursday at 5pm. This years WrestleMania. Not sure if its just going to be Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker though. We'll see. It's repeated at some other times too but didnt see those.

  10. Mr. Ass was getting over by fueding with The Rock,

Thats a lie and you know it.

I dunno man, he was definently getting a reaction. The crowd were responding and the feud was a decent summer program. It was clear the WWF at the time were very much behind Billy and a singles run and pairing him with Rock was a good idea. Shame it went to pot after The Rock beat him, they clearly lost faith in Billy as a singles star.

I've always liked Billy Gunn though I'm s little biased but he was over.

  11. Its an interesting one thinking about it properly but i definently agree with Ian.

Ive been watching the whole of 1998 and 1999 over the last few months, and Rock was getting much bigger reactions around the time of SummerSlam than Steve Austin. The WWF were no longer relying on Stone Cold, back in '98 he was THE man, but also there wasnt that many massive babyfaces around at the time. By the time SummerSlam rolled round, Rock was no1, X-Pac and Kane were getting massively over, even Test was getting good reactions, Mankind was just returning and as ever was very popular. Then we had the emergence of Triple H on the heel side, Mr. Ass was getting over by fueding with The Rock, the Undertaker/Big Show tandem was gathering momentum etc.

Point im making is the WWF was overloaded with top quality stars that were massively over, wheras back in 1998 a lot of wrestlers were over, but Austin was one of the only ones mega over. As other babyfaces stars were starting to rise over Austin, this was probably his last chance to give a massive rub to the heel Triple H before ultimately his career started to wind down. He missed the majority of 2000, and only wrestled on PPV again at No Mercy of 1999. It really harmed Triple H by only beating Mankind, a star who was good, but I dont think he was ever really percieved as a mega star, so the title win lost a lot of impetus at the time.

  12. Ahh I see. Thanks for that. Still it was a ridiculous way to get to it with Chyna being no1 contender at one point etc, just turned into a mess.

Dissaponted with Austin though, triple h had alot of momentum and even tho it ultimately didn't matter for Triple H's career In the end, a first title win beating Austin in the Summerslam main event would have been massive.

  13. Just watching RAW's from 1999 and does anyone know the story behind the mess that was the SummerSlam main event? They were building it for a few weeks Triple H vs Stone Cold, then all of a sudden 2 weeks before the event Undertaker suddenly wants a shot, then Chyna gets put in a no1 contender match and wins. Week after on the go home show Mankind randomly shows up and ends up in another no1 contender match and we end up with a main event of Austin v mankind v hhh and mankind ends up bloody winning the thing!

Triple H vs Austin was looking like a cracking main event and was bring built up nicely then it just went ridiculously crazy! Really don't know what they were thinking.

  14. Ahh right I see. Don't really get the RAW/Warzone thing either, I always thought Warzone was just a name for the Arena as such, like in TNA where they call it the Impact Zone. I know RAW was in different arena's but you know what I mean. Didn't realise it was kinda a half and half show.

And too right Cole/Kelly and J.R. was a terrible combination. Show sounded instantly better when King joined.

  15. Just watching RAW from 1998, first episode. The show and first hour had Michael Cole commentatiing, with J.R. and Kevin Kelly by his side. Half way through The King has suddenly started commentating with J.R. and Cole and Kelly are gone. Anyone know why did this and was it regular? Strange as to why theyd change it half way through. And yeah i've checked its the same episode

  16. Just watched ''Devil's Child aka Joshua'', decent little film I thought, wasnt expecting much, it's obvious whats going on from the start though, so im suprised that it's described as a ''shocking conclusion'' and so on, good watch though.

Also saw ''The Flock'' the other day, thought this was good too, nothing groundbreaking, but was watchable and enjoyable.

  17. Got round to watching ''Enemy Of The State'' earlier, thought it was fantastic. I love Will Smith and have loved every film he;s been in so i wasnt expecting any less from this.

I can't usually sit still for over 2 hours for a film, but i never felt my concentration wandering in this one, pretty fast paced and scary stuff in a way, makes you think what the goverment could really be capable of.

  18. Tried to watch Michael Clayton earlier, really couldnt get into it :S Am I mssing something? I have to be honest, i didnt completely understand what was going on after a bit, well through most of it, and once that happens i just switch off, dissapointing really because i was looking forward to seeing it.

  19. More of a request than a question.

But does anyone know where i can download the Uncle Krakcer song - what chu lookin at?...it was the one X-Factor used for their theme, im not wanting the WWE remixed one though with all the X-Factor mentions. Thats the only one Youtube have, but i know it's on his album, the proper one like. Cheers.

  21. Watched ''The Forgotten'' earlier.Had it on video for a couple of years and never bothered watching it.Thought it was decent enough to kill an hour and a half. Very interesting storyline, shame they didnt expand on it a bit more, they didnt seem to go into a lot of detail and what the actual experiment was all about and then just like that it kinda ended. Decent enough film tho, enjoyed it.
